Updated for 2nd time today, now finds no vulns on August patched Nexus 5X where previously it found 1. Link to check 2 CVEs shown opens to relevant article, still not clear what action can be taken until patches available in September.

No vulnerabilities on the Nexus 9! Oh wait, doesn't feature a Snapdragon. From what I've read, this is a Snapdragon issue, and patches were completed in July, now it's up to device manufacturers and carriers to implement them. My 2015 Moto X dropped two of the vulnerabilities in the past week...

Good app... Can u help me sort my phone problem? My phone is Micromax A311. Problem no. 1) It sometimes opens a blank white screen in which I can see the status bar only can't scroll it down. When I press home it vanishes. 2) it opens playstore and open the apps which I don't have. I download them and still it pops them... Pls help.

If you have any vulnerabilities, the only fix will come from a patch by your phone manufacturer, and not some third party app. To keep safe in the meantime, disable unverified apps and only download trusted apps from the Google Play store.

I ran it on first install and it found two vulnerabilities. Shortly after this I got another update and was down to one. Now it is all clear... This app detected the issue but Google updated my phone to fix it. Shows the need for suppliers to roll out security updates.

telling me I'm vulnerable or not based on patch date is USELESS - it needs to check for vulnerable CODE... we need hard stats about patch levels to PUBLICLY SHAME carriers & OEMs who drag their feet and/or withhold, outright, on Android security updates... SHAME ON GOOGLE FOR NOT RELEASING SECURITY PATCHES DIRECTLY TO ANDROID USERS, TOO...

Most software from Central Point Labs I have used has been first rate. This application fell short of their standards. It originally told me that my Samsung S7 edge had the Qualcomm software fault. Then it told me that I didn't have the fault. The Qualcomm test application continued to tell me my smartphone still had the problem. After the Google September 1 security update both applications told me that my smartphone was okay. So only the Qualcomm application really gives the full correct answer.

Anyone saying this doesn't provide fixes for the problem is right, it doesn't, BUT IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO! Or even able to or allowed to for that matter. The fixes can only come from your manufacturer and they'll be doing older phones later or not at all. The only sure fire fix if you have an old phone is to get a new phone.

My phone has update latest Android Security Patch Level December 1, 2016. But on this version still say I infected.

It tested my lgg4 and displayed that it is NOT affected by the exploits. Don't know what peeps are complaining about, since it only TESTS your device. You the end user/owner have the responsibility for what goes on your device.

Easy to use. Knowing that there was an issue means that I know to take extra precautions until the fixes are released.

Wonderful. Shows that my Canadian Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android 7.1 is safe... for now. For the love of gawd please update your firmware/software; if you don't know how then upgrade the hardware by getting a new phone!

Without any update of the Nexus 6 I noticed, the app gave two contrary results within a small week.

Always worth checking, so many phones can be infected and only this app can advise you if your device has issues

Provide proper check of phone. Better than Qualcomm quadrooter as I checked it. It said that ur phone is affected but it was resolved in my update so the perfect results were given by this app

This app says my phone is clear , Qualcomm app says I have a vulnerability .....clear as mud 🤔 Nexus 6P Android 7

Reported two issues on my Nexus 5X running latest Android N beta. No updates to phone software, just a bug fixed release of this app and apparently phone no longer vulnerable!

Jan. S. Sep 8, 2016

Not vulnerable... Cool! Thanks for the scanner that would tell the real result!

I think this app is rather accurate. Because with the update of my note 4 from 5.1.1 to two 6.0.1 updates, the vulnerability it detects have become less and less, until the zero vulnerability for the Sep 6.0.1 update I am currently running. Good job, Samsung!

Speedy app that lets you know if you're vulnerable or not. Thanks!

Best app to check your device for Quadrooter Vulnerabilities. Eithers it was patched my your vendor or not.

J. C. Jan 23, 2017

Did its job. My Moto X Pure was found to be free of quadrooter vulnerabilities.

Mik. O. Aug 23, 2016

Update: now nexus 4 only has one vulnerability! Original review: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 running 6.0.1 says zero vulnerabilities. Google Nexus 4 running 5.1.1 has 3 vulnerabilities. Nook HD+ running 4.0.4 has zero vulnerabilities.

One vornability on galaxy tab a. Even with no lte. What is next? I know this app is just a test. Now i am just more stressed.

Tells you if your phone has the vulnerabilities. First time I downloaded this app it found 2. After recent manufacturers update to OS, ran it again now it's gone. Only can get fix from your carrier &/or manufacturer. Otherwise, risk w/rooting 📱 (not recommended & voids warranty). Thanks Devlps!

But at least I know

Dav. E. Aug 18, 2016

Doesn't scan for all vulnerabilities. Also allow. Use the qualcomm app instead.

Works as described, 5 stars
