This is a wonderful game. I love the grafic style. The humour. The game play and controls are spot on. There is endless enjoyment in this. The rogue-like elements keep me coming back for more. Nothing more satisfying than getting that upgrade you'd been saving for. Or unlocking a mastery you had been aiming to unlock. It's such an amazing app that deserves way more players. So underrated. I have played a lot of games over the year and this is easily one of my favourites to date.
The game is awesome an definitely worth paying for (buttering up). It speeds up the progression just enough to make it not feel too frustrating. The movement controls are difficult/finicky on a small screen, falling will still kill you, but it's fun. I wish the levels played on the black tile didn't also have a black background. Also, this might be a bug, but every time I die with a positive doubloon count I start the next game with that exact amt of doubloons in the negative.
It is a cool game. The controls and general angle of the game takes a bit to get used to - like everything else in life. Probably in the top 3 of roguelikes on playstore in my opinion. BUT (This chips away 2 stars) - the falling through tiles to the next level gets very old - very fast. It's always like - "Dude, I was busy killing that big fish, and as soon as he almost died, and in some cases actually die - I fell through the floor". They (the enemies) can also be knocked off the current level, which is OK because your xp and loot get's handed to you. But even if you complete a floor and are on your way to the chest that opens the next floor - you will sometimes fall through and miss all the xp and loot from that chest. Maybe in Num2, leave the falling out of the game. It honestly does not even make sense since they are in the ocean - one (especially an octopus) does not fall into holes. Thanks.
So overall it's a fairly enjoyable experience. Progression is smooth and the minimal story is somewhat humorous. Controls are a bit finicky for a mobile game and would be better played on a PC. The IAP are actually decent value and help speed up progression but can skip a ton of content. Gameplay does get a bit repetitive after a while and usually I'm ok with that but not for this style of game despite being semi rouge like. This is more of a quick 5-10 minutes side game when I'm bored.
Awesome. I've had loads of fun with this game ever since it came out! So satisfying smashing enemies, and some excellent dialogue. My only (minor) complaint is that it's locked to 30FPS and has no controller support (I have a smaller screen so tough controls are tricky).
Great mobile game. Just the right level of customization to keep you playing without being overly complex or falling into the usual fuse/gem mechanics that plauge most games. I enjoyed crashlands and for some reason waited like 3 years to try this game... one note, the controls were small and painfully uncomfortable at first. Go into settings and change buttons to "huge" and controls to "floating" and it's perfect.
Easily the best game I've played on my phone since angry birds! Simply brilliant, just when I was ready to give up even trying anymore games. I really cant understand how people can waste their time with such terrible games available. Great reviews but I play 5 minutes and can't believe anyone would bother ever spending time let alone money on 99% of the games posted here! This is a rare exception that will be huge very quickly, let's hope it stays on course and remains playable for a long time!
The game is simple enough, It dose get pretty hard fast depending on how far you advance. But, that being said you can always try again and lvl up yourself before going again. Great work easy and entertaining. The only thing I've noticed is occasionally the moving control will get stuck and the character will keep running off the edges.
Played to unlock Crashlands content, not a fan of having to play other games to unlock content for another however out of all of the developer's games I had to play this was the most fun/polished (after Crashlands) and fairly easy to get the achievement needed. The only BS game (besides Crashlands) which I might play some more, as it is semi mindless fun with a few laughs and replayability as each run is a bit different.
A LOT of fun, but the falling out of the map gets really annoying, only thing stopping me from 5 stars. Humorous, great gameplay, nice upgrades, decent art style and from what I've seen looking around the store, you can get about everything with in game money.
Great game, only feedback I could give would be a way to mute sounds and music directly from the main menu and not only in-game, so that if you are listening to music/podcast/audiobooks you don't have to stop because every time you open the game the sounds are still on. But yeah, extremely fun free to play, keep up the great work.
The game is well made but the controls need serious work. If you let go at all and then retouch the movement pad, it sends you in a different direction which is usually straight off the map. Can't recommend it as is sadly.
Awesome game. Very difficult (it's definitely a Roguelite that leans a bit on the punishing side), but after some upgrades the game gets a bit easier. No need to spend money, but dropping a few dollars can speed up getting your permanent upgrades and such.
Favorite mobile game by far. Raging, rampaging fun. Great simple leveling system and im a huge fan of the mastery point system. No ads which is rare these days and no pushy loot boxes or progress impeding. Free to play and awesome. 5 stars and would give more if i could.
A very cute game but there is major glitch in playing....the rage part continues even when the bar reaches zero and keeps you flying around until I close the game and return even when I start a new game. I get frustrated I just close the app... I hope you will fix this major glitch in your game...when you do so I will change rating to five star because that is how good of game this could be. Ccc.
The game is fun. I enjoy the short and brief intro so I could play without having to go through some long walkthrough. Its fairly simple to play, and the gameplay is pretty random everytime you start a new game. But the controls are pretty bad. On many occasions I drag the cursor to go one way and it takes me the opposite direction. Coupled with the holes and other obstacles, the game is just unnecessarily frustrating
