Quake & Volcanoes: 3D Globe of Volcanic Eruptions

Well, if you *prefer* appearance over function, this so is for you! But I find the 3d distracting, and would prefer more controls. Next, please, put the ads AWAY_FROM the app's controls! is good app, but after comparing this app with 3 others, i found that usgs is both hiding and down sizing earthquakes. whats the point of using if information is incomplete / incorect. also fouñd HEAPS of adds to wade through to get to wanted infomation. that said, i am using free version. would make a huge difference if they used more of the MANY available geo moitoring services.

Disappointing as it doesn't have any information on the earthquakes and volcanoes tab. Also has an option to show volcanoes on the globe but there is not one showing. There is also no options to set notifications or similar. Also only shows earthquakes per day instead of being able to show last week/month etc. So disappointing

Here, the ideas looked good, but, it was clearly rushed to the marketplace far before it was ready. A lot of confusion remains about what it's meant to do. The Play Store's app name is "Quake & Volcanoes"; the description says, "3D Globe of Volcanic Eruptions"; and the icon is called, "Earthquake". The advertised globe sounds good, until you click on it, and actually go to a quake or eruption site. Then, the map becomes so muddy that it's impossible to read. When you exit, they beg you to buy.

I think this app is great. It's not complicated; you pick magnitude & get an alert to the spot on the always-rotating globe. For me, that's all I want. I want to know if California falls off into the ocean or Yellowstone has blown since I live in AZ...it could be a problem & time to either break out the raft or put on the gas mask! ☠🤡🤭

Did the paid option expecting better service to no avail. The app while pressing the earthquake is slow in responsiveness due to software weakness. This app is as fast as my local newspaper in informing me of resent earthquakes. Unistalling don't spend the $3.99

there are a LOT of events left out, I'm not sure how often the app is updated with new information such as earthquakes and volcanic activity. still has a lot of work to be done but it looks like it could be an amazing app if consistently maintained.

It's a good app. I like the 3D global images. But for some reason it's not showing any of the swarms of earthquakes occuring at Yellowstone National Park during the last few months. Why aren't the Yellowstone earthquakes being included? Thanks

lacking customization of notifications. would love to set alerts at 7 or higher. also being able to filter EQ's by time would help. TLDR lacks any customization

Being able to see the full globe at once is a great tool. Adding a 2 D projection map option would be fantastic.

Really Enjoying this App making me aware of all sorts of places and islands I've never heard of. Can the globe be set to show place names? I have to keep referring to google maps to fully understand exactly where the earthquakes are.

Had it 30 seconds and from the initial opening of the app i had 2 interrupting game ads , 1 Buy the Premium promo and 2 weather overlay additions for this app? In the first 30 seconds? I un-installed it.

This is a simple app that shows volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. It's not as nice as the iris site but that one doesn't have an app. This one certainly nice I like it

To me personally, I find this APP exceptional. Well, I don't often tinker with me phone much but when I do, me day begins with checking the current weather for me necessity, so thank you much.

I really like this app. I've been interested in the earth for a long time and watched many programs on volcanoes and quakes. I'm 67 and I didn't have time to study them when I was younger. I like just being able to see where things are happening right now.

I am veryinterested in things of nature and this one is the best I have had and I have tried a few apps. Keep this up! And develop more apps that is nice like this!!

Some apps have ads and some ads have attached apps between them. This is the latter.

wish the graphics were better, maybe faster and the volcano icon needs to visually tell the magnitude but other than that the aps pretty cool and informative...

I have tried to install it 2 times but when I try to open it said it stopped working. A worthless app!

Love the layout! You can pick a area on the 3D spinning globe stop it and spend time looking at each event. RV
