The app is a solid defender of our online privacy. It's disturbing to actually see how small my actual data usage is compared to the data usage of all the trackers and advertisers chew up. Now my trial is up, and the app won't let me upgrade to premium. It says it can't contact server. Error code df-dferh-01 It's worth 10 stars. I left you 3, at least until I can upgrade.
I had this great app for about four months with no real issues. After my Android 10 update it stopped working. That was two months ago. As yet there is no word from the developer as to when the next working update will come. They sent a free working code but what good is that when you don't have a working app? I have cancelled my subscription and uninstalled the app.
The VPN key only appears about once a day for half an hour, however the app suggests that it definitely has been blocking unnecessary connections when the key isn't showing. But I'm concerned without the VPN key icon my internet connections are unsafe as it is a requirement for private DNS to be turned off in settings when initiating the app. It also intermittently prevents internet access. Links by Google ads never open. Technical support team rudely ignore all service request concerns.
Answer: I provided it already, lower prices to get 5 stars / Even the app is well designed in my opinion, I like the way it looks and has the features organized. I think what will impact the subscription options are the prices.I'm currently subscribed to Dr.Web, which has a firewall that you can see the data traffic in real time, up/down transfer of each servers per app.You can block any specific connections on an app. Just $8/year, but this app, $3.99/month or $39.99/year...Is not a nice price.
I purchased a full year subscription and still isn't up and running and they still have not contacted me after various emails. Don't get me wrong, it is a great app but I purchased it last Friday and the app. Is not working.
I honestly do like this app for a few different reasons & I would love to maintain a premium account with you guys but no matter what I do it just keeps giving me an error saying there was no response from your server. My trial is about to end, yet I can't even pay you guys so it doesn't. I even tried turning off your app in the vpn settings but still the same thing. Please help me out here and I'll gladly change my 3* to 5 also. Thanks.
I have tried all of the non root firewall apps and quantum is by far the best. I hardly ever actually take the time to rate anything, and it's even more rare for me to write a review, but when there is an exceptional app that not only does what's promised but exceeds your expectations in every aspect, then in that case the development team deserves to be commended. Thank you for an amazing job.
Very well design application. Able to see connection logs and where it comes. mapping where the connection logs client come from is a great things but require a vpn is something that's not enough .-. Sadly. Truth is that vpn rely on local so ya but this app is great for connections logs. I wish to see more in the future apps like network connections i recommending it, dosen't comes with vpn and it straight up shows connection all too.👍
Phenomenal security and protection for your device on any network. I was a victim of identity theft and was able to secure my info and take hold of my life with the help of this app. If you know about networking & security, you can definitely use the features to its max potential. App always is crashing in the background when i haven't even opened it since the phone started up and it runs despite having revoked its permission to auto run. It's pretty much useless in that it doesn't offer any additional protection from the phones built in security on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.
UPDATE (26/02/2021) I have now had Quantum Flare installed on my mobile phone properly and have even gone premium (I think 3 something/month). So far, so good - to a point, as I am still missing aomething. For example, having been hacked quite recently, even when there's no SIM card in the phone, I expect QF to have root security included, but I can't seem to find a function as regards. Hence rating at 3 stars till I feel my mobile can be fully secured with QF. Or, am I missing something?
I love this app 100% but the firewall can be over powering at times . saves data from 3rd partys which is like 50% data of which mite not seem like much but it works iv tested 60 mins videos as in two 30 min videos times and from 10.37 data to 9.79 =0.58 data used without Quantum on and again but with Quantum on from 9.79 to 9.62 =0.17 data used so after two hours of research i could have saved with Quantum. But you have to scan all apps everytime you reconect to Quantum to add all tracker block
Great App!!! Started blocking right away. I am amazed how many connections were going out without my knowledge. Greatly improved performance on plane once I blocked the unsolicited connections from their WiFi. WOW!
After a short learning curve, very easy to configure, works smoothly, a really useful and informative essential tool. Also, I don't see any real slowdown.
Really? So like the app. It does what you want, but £38? Seriously? You price yourself out of the .market. I can buy zone alarm on pc for £20 which covers 5 devices on all platforms. And your product is not even anywhere as good.
The second I started the app it wanted phone call permissions in order to supposedly ensure that my phone is my phone. It's just another way to grab your data. BTW, this permission is not listed in the Google Play store.
Getting familiar with the application took a little longer than expected. I enjoyed the learning process non the less and as a result I now understand the fears I had of certain applications and their functions were just that. I can't thank you enough for this beautiful application. Thanks Dev.
This app was working well, n for some reasons it just stop after I factory reset my phone, I gave the permission, n it just Froze, with the dots on the middle screen moving.
Fantastic software! I was very impressed with how many connections and trackers were blocked on all of my apps. Even common apps like Facebook had trackers for analytics... cheers to letting me take control of my data!
Today I have downloaded your app, Excellent firewall with inbuilt tracker detection and prevention system. Thumbs up developers for your effort. Please keep it up. I would like to know/suggest these possible actions. 1Give notificatio n on detection rather opening app and clicking live status so that user can know when to open app. 2Why is there periodic payment for app and not one time full payment? 3Can there be option to block temporary for once but next time it should connect by permission.
This being the first feedback for an App which I think is very needed is strange. I guess maybe because the App can't be used after the splash has been displayed or perhaps many are skeptical handing over phone security to a company that's not really known. I downloaded it to control Internet access per App and it worked briefly. After this I enabled a trial subscription and the app now stops at "Enable Internal VPN" the proceed button doesn't work😤 can you fix it?
