Quest Town Saga

A dark shadow was cast on a certain peaceful little town... Well, no, actually it was just a bunch of silly-looking monsters suddenly causing trouble. Anyway, someone's got to teach them a lesson, and that's you!

Help out the townsfolk and they'll let you take charge of their town, building it as you like. Plus, you get to be a respected hero. Some get their treasure from quests. Some get items and money from managing a town. But why not both?!

Create a party of characters with different Classes, like Knight or Beast Tamer. Have pet monsters fight alongside. Choose your weapons and armor based on the elemental affinity of your foes to hit hard while taking less damage yourself.

You can do it all in style, as there are lots of outfits for you to choose. And if you think looking human is boring, no problem! Wear a dragon, cat, dog, or fox costume. No one's going to judge you! Show off your cool character at the Online Plaza, and maybe even quest together with another player.

Embark on an epic yet laid-back adventure in this town-building RPG. It's fun whether your priority is to save the world or get a stylish hat.

The game is quite good. Very unique. One thing that would definitely make this better is the controls. It needs to be tweaked a bit as it gets in the way some times. An option to change the controls would be good. I.e: Touch, or keypad contol, and also have an option to have it stay in one area of the screen of our choosing. Aside from that and the matchmaking in the online plaza (I believe there aren't much people playing that's why it won't match.), everything is great.

Having a lot of fun with this game. My big issue though is the controls. They make no sense. It should just be a simple drag of the screen when in town and a thumbstick control (not this garbage D-pad stuff) to move when doing quests. At least create that other control scheme and give us the option to choose. The controls singlehandedly ruin this game for me.

A decent game with minor town building elements and an interesting character creation system that has a decent amount of depth. Unfortunately, a large amount of systems in game aren't explained, and those that are are often confusing or lacking crucial information, likely a result of localization. Still, a decent game to play for free for at least the first few quest trees.

The game is amazing, and I usually don't like this type of game, so that's saying alot. The real time strategy and formation involves in combat is a great concept, yet I feel it needs to be polished to where it actually matters. A serious issue I face is the multilayer mode being basically unplayable, as every hour I try, I'm being constantly told I failed to connect to the server with a 3 on the end. I wish our sub classes could receive exp, that way grinding wouldn't be so gruesome. Not bad.

Fun game, build your town for points, defeat enemies, team up, all nice. I don't like the caps on inventory or town storage... Takes away from the gameplay. Controls are a little annoying, wish I could have a joystick static or tap in the direction I want to go instead of all over... I also wish I could zoom out, I feel too close in. Fun game, let's see how long before I tire of the mechanics.

I DO like Kairosofts spin on, well, pretty much all thier paid games. I DON'T like: 1. "Advert" after every quest. 2. The advert placement right where you to tap to use a skill. 3. There's no paid way (that I could find) to remove these ads. 4. Not a huge fan of the movement controls, but I could get used to it. 5. And finally, just a minor gripe: I'm cool with the bit-style graphics, but the enlarged NPC's are unrecognizable. Maybe use the same size bits instead enlarging the same number.

The game has very good elements to it, but poor implementations destroys them. I love how certain aspects from the game dungeon village, and beastie bay can be seen, and how kairosoft tried the "real-time" battle. - Really bad controls for both the town and questing part (the use of d-pad for traversing and editing the town is frustrating) - confusing interface for almost everything - ad banner at the bottom (needs to extend my thumb very far) and I can't find the "no ads" purchase if there is?

This game is a very unique experience over all. I've never seen a game on the mobile platform that has you be the hero, and the builder of an expanding town. And when I say "you", I mean actually You, not some pre-generated rando who you take control of. The customization is pretty good and the classes are very unique. I personally enjoy any game where you hand the wizard a scythe, though, I do wish there was a bit more indicator for what monster you target.

Kairosoft's strength is in management style games, not so much in actual gameplay. This game focuses on gameplay, which is dull and repetitive. There is some light management, but not enough. The ads are persistent, not sure if there's a way to pay to remove them. It has an energy system, which is never an element that adds anything for the player. It's simple though, which is a nice break from the usual JRPG.

I'm really loving this game! You can build up a little town for resources, you can get cool items easily, the typical "mobile game paid currency" is given out fairly often. (i get 2000 just for writing this review) there is a multiplayer function but you dont have to play online with strangers if thats not your thing. my only complaints are that the controls are kind of hard to handle, and i wish there was a "clear all" button for the town so you can start from scratch.

Its pretty fun, its simplistic and extensive all at the same time. I enjoy the class selection and the ability to sub a class to gain its abilities, really offers versatility and options for different playstyles. My reason for a lack of a star, is the lack of select more than one when selling or upgrading. It could be quick if there was an option for this.

It's an average Kairosoft game and a good RPG to pass the time. At the moment though the controls are strangely unresponsive at most times and it's yet another game from them without their D-pad button thing that they have at the bottom of the screen in most of their other games. I'm getting sick of the newer games they release without it since such a good way to control the game.

Very nice game. Movement controls are a bit strange, wish it would flip view when turning phone. You get stuck on a lot of things in game too. "Free" stuff is only given when you download other apps and do something as apposed to just watching ads. Nice equipment/class/pet/appearance/town design allows for a lot of customization. Heavy battery drain. It's multiplayer but not massively just party based.

I LOVE how it's decently easy to get monsters. I also like how there's some cutiepie monsters.I'd just like to suggest doing a different way to control. I continually stop because my finger keeps getting out of range of the current one. That and it keeps going all over the screen. It doesn't stay in one spot. Will up it back to 5 IF it happens.

I really like the game. Having a lot of fun with it. The only problems I have with it: 1) The controller is a bit flimsy, a fixed d-pad would be better I think, like in other kairosoft games 2)Cannot connect to the Online Plaza. Disconnect on "Failed to log in to the server.3 ". This problem takes some of the social gameplay and interaction with quests away. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars

I wanted to like this game more than I did. Clumsy movement controls. Character customisation is great, but then you're pushed to wear whatever random new outfits you get; in order to earn hearts. Couldn't get into the online plaza, kept getting a 'failed to log in 3' error. In game currencies slow to earn, hearts and friend points, but very quick to spend. Wasted a lot just learning what did what. Stamina less generous than other games by this company. Good potential, but lots of problems.

I have played the game, and it is very cutesy and fun! I have had almost no moments where I dislike the game. However, I have just one problem, and that problem is the connection to the Online Plaza. I continue to try and restart the app, but I continue to recieve the message "Failed to log in to the server.3". I hope that this is rather a common and easily fixable bug, and can be fixed on the next update, as I truly wish to experience the game with other players.

A good time waster and definitly a different feel from their usual game. Getting good items doesn't take too long if you farm for tickets from guild quests. Making your own town and being able to multiclass and fuse monsters makes this game forever playable. The only down side for me is how long it takes to actually level up. But that's just minor and leveling up too fast would take away part of the game. So I personally think this is deserving of 5 stars. Besides, it's free!

Very cute casual questing game with lovely pixel art. If you're looking for a simple monster breeding/dungeon crawler this is it. I just am not a huge fan of the controls... walking around by dragging is weird when a simple 4-way D-pad would've done fine. Decorating your town is also a pain, and theres no rotating the buildings. Minor stuff that doesn't really impact my enjoyment enough not to play.

Ive only played 3 missions so im not too far but i really like the game, but there are some very blaring issues here. First the control for movement needs some form of a upgrade. Second, sometimes when i tap it seems as if it didnt register the tap. Third, every tap i make seems to be translated just a fair bit upward of where i actually tapped. The game has potential and if u read this, you should definitely try to play, but these issues need to really be fixed, and then i could give 5 stars.

The game is good, but somewhat slow. E.g., instead of just showing an ad, it has a countdown timer for the ad. It also has an ad when you first start the game. However, it is designed well; e.g., it has a nice balance of stamina to friends you can bring so you run out of both at the same time. It also doesn't require all your time to play.

The. S. Feb 18, 2020

the game runs well on android 10. similar with other MMO but it offers retro experience. too bad the big avatar on top of dialogue pixelated. some of the guild quest is too vague to accomplish. the ui quite bad, confusing at first and still confused till now. some menu placed too deep make it inconvenient. fortunately game play still enjoyable, but steadily become tedious and boring. Kairos team still have alot of room for improvement. This game if managed well could become a hit.

For being in development this game has some unique features. The class system and skills have a unique variety of skills and effects. The game need a little work and I think you should be allowed to accept more than two quests. The game offers a decent starting variety of equipment and the tutorials are kept simple. Great work on this.
