The demo mode would not connect to a server, so I took a chance and upgraded. The spectrum only covers a few dozen kHz rather than the sample rate. Frequent error messages make it hard to adjust settings. Trying to send bug reports is difficult because the errors keep stealing focus from the bug report script. Nice idea, I hope they can get it working, but for now save your money (and time).
Far too many errors and blue screens, I can't even change mode before it throws a fit. No direct sampling mode available for the RTL-SDR even though the driver you use supports this. This should have the restrictions removed and be labelled as a Beta until the bugs are ironed out.
Was very unstable on Airspy Spyserver when it ran at all, but has now stopped working completely. Says current version is too old, points back to home page, then Play Store with no newer version. Windows version seems to have disappeared as well.
So close to being functional. I cam connect to my TCP server just fine and see the spectrum, but every two seconds an error message appears on the screen I have to manually close. It would work fine if I could get rid of the popup.
Works, but incredibly, incredibly buggy. Unusably so, with the app crashing every few minutes. Keep getting a buffer error every 5 or so seconds that feels the need to notify me by changing the entire screen. Very disappointed
I had sdrdroid before, it worked everytime. There was an update avaliable I did the upgrade and it stopped working, end of support. Developer tells that this QuestaSDR replaces the good old Sdrdroid. This one opens shows the waterfall but receives nothing at all.
Nice, but after a few minutes of use, the waterfall disappeared and says expired. Why is this happening? Also, other advertsed features are not working.
Connects to my Spyserver over my wifi but constantly has an error popping up making it unusable. Maybe when it works right on my phone I'll give it 5 stars.
Poor user interface that fails to make use of all available screen space. Crashes on all my devices when I tap Start.
Only had a quick go... Didn't work with local spyserver. Would suggest removing the waterfall demo limit until app is worth paying for.
This app supports spyservers, great, only this app supports it. But is very unstable (v4.0.5, Redmi note 5, MIUI 10.3), many blue screens, settings sensitive to FFT & FPS & Smoothing (error write multiringbuffer) and many FCs. For NFM is in app only BW 25kHz, (12k5 is missing). Lower sample rate than 48k maybe helps reduce internet BW (300KB/s with 48k) Permission, why needs GPS and camera access?
This app having potential however it keep crashing randomly, navigation is a pain because when you expected it to be "back" and all it do is "exit"
Unfortunately error screen overrides everything with ringbuffer problem every second or two so makes it unusable... errors could be logged silently surely?
After a lot of times of blue error screen, it starts!, but, leave my phone KO, I had to restart to uninstall. Only one thing works, 5,99 upgrade.... is it a joke?
Crashes upon launch before I can select device. Worked quite well before update; I even bought the plugins.
Still can't use it after latest update fixed previous issue. App now crashes after adding SpyServer URL.
Good SDR app. plenty of settings, fairly easy to set up and use.
There is not enough functionality in the free trial version to know whether this is a usable ap for ham radio purposes.
You updated it and I uninstalled, redownloaded and it still tells me I have an old version that dont work anymore
Says the version is too old, directs to the website, and no information regarding it on the website... :(
Looks promising but crashes as soon as I try to connect to an SDRPlay via TCP.
Full of bugs and constant error pop ups
Errors on top of errors connecting to a Spyserver.
Won't even start, turns itself off instantly
Constant errors make this unusable with Spyserver
doesn't work with spyserver or not compatible with new version spyserver
For the diligence and the hard work to achieve what perhaps a few have been able to do from this stage... it deserves respect. We've been looking for an app that could work cross platform Android/Windows. The app has a lot of potential definitely, however, the instructions are very poor. Programmers will find it difficult to follow. We tried using it as a server on the windows 10, 64 bit platform with an SDR Play but impossibly to access with the Android 9.0 App. Not sure what's going on.
