This is one of the best portable gaming experiences I have ever had. Paying homage to Ultima and Wizardry series, it translates to mobile touch screens beautifully. I just want more, more, more.
First Person, grid-based, single character, real-time action combat. There is some freedom of exploration, but for the most part, the path is linear. Not too simple, not too complicated. The feel is just right for a mobile game. Graphics are roughly late 80's - early 90's quality, on par with early Might and Magic games. I had fun with this game, and looking forward to buying the sequel when it's ready.
This game is great. Very well made and easy to learn. While it doesn't have the graphic quality of some other similar games. It makes up for it with a very expansive world, lots of quests, and most importantly good controls! The graphics in QuestLord are not horrible by the way. Gives it that old school PC game look. I recommend this game for anyone looking for a good dungeon crawler.
This game has great potential. Beautiful graphics, surreal humour and some great missions. But you cannot have multiple saves. If you lose a quest item or it glitches gates sometimes lock and save files seem to corrupt on elf island, you lose everything. I'll have another go at it in the future if it's patched because it really is great fun. Really needs multiple saves though, and a few bug fixes.
Great game. I am obsessed with it. But now I have to put it on hold due to technical issues and hope they will be fixed in the future. The main problem is the saves get broken sometimes somehow. It shows only black screen on the display afrer loading. Not much nice when you are in the middle of the game progress. Also crashes after beating final boss. My phone is Xiomi Redmi Note 5. So hope you're glad I am letting you know.
Fun game, I was looking for something like this for a long time. I like the graphics style it reminds me of the olden days.
I enjoyed it but there's a game breaking black screen bug that appeared randomly on the last quarter of my play through. I don't really care to play quick games so I now uninstalled it. The game hasn't been updated in a few years so I assume the Dev won't be fixing it. I will wait for questlord 2.
Questlord is great! Simple enough to be a casual pick up and play yet complex enough to be engaging and immersive. This takes me back to a simpler time in my life, very reminiscent of the old eye of the beholder games for DOS. You're looking at a solid 10 hours if you breeze through, 15 or more if you explore every nook and cranny which I highly recommend that you do. This game was clearly a labor of love made by someone who's passion shines through here. No ads or IAP and worth every penny. ✌
Just when you think that you've found the right game... argh! Having slain the Ice Giant, and been granted passage to the western seaport of Buzzard Cove, I ultimately came to discover that should one choose to leave Norrab in order to return to Kyre for any reason then it's effectively "Game Over" as the portal from the Keep of Alestane to Buzzard Cove cannot be opened a second time, and there is no other way through. After all of that work, I feel very bitter!
I really enjoyed the games charming older game look it had. The controls were nice and smooth and so far what I played of the game the story has me wanting to explore more of the world.
Really enjoyed the game until I went to a new area of the map and the screen went black and has not gone back no matter how many times I close the app. Works fine for my other characters but my main one is now ruined since I can't play it. Just beat the ice giant and retrieved goblin plans. Payed 7 bucks for this and now I can't play the character that I was furthest with. Dev, please help if you can or refund my money
A wonderful old school labyrinth, rpg and quest style game. I love that it gives you a way to play even after you finish the game because there is a generated maps mode to play (it seems), aside from the main mode ☺
Great retro game, easy to use controls
I didn't finish it, oh so long ago now, but I did love it. It was exactly what I wanted at the time. A first person RPG, but in the vein of Orcs & Elves. But one that could feasibly been on the SNES or GBA.
I got this around when it first came out, still a fun game
Great game, sadly the latest update broke it for me (Huawei p20 pro). It freezes at the loading screen after character creation - the green progress bar fills, but nothing happens. Same thing after uninstall
Edit: Thanks for the info Erik👍 No save at all, when you die, It is frustrating to go all the way back from the beginning to the place you died. Should have been more forgiving for we are in 2019 not 1990's and life is more hectic than ever.
I got this game years ago & have always kept coming back & re-installing it. I've gotten stuck at a fre places but I think I'm ready to try again & finally win. Thanks Eric for this amazing game!
For anyone looking for a nostalgic first person dungeon crawl with a basic storyline, this is great. Well worth the two dollars!
Game doesnt work. Quick game freezes the app. Creating a character just gets stuck on a load screen.
Not as flashy as many of the other games on the Play Store, but this one really has old-school charm. Can't wait for Questlord II !
There is simply no game like it. App companies can only dream to rise to the no-lag gameplay, yet rich in story and stat development. The penultimate for the player that finds joy in a straight first-person rpg based on the same no-frill mechanics that made crpg's so appealing but with the hackslash atmosphere that keeps u engaged and satisfied. And to defy the iap fever keeps it ethical unlike what pen and paper sequel did, for instance. They need to clone this developer so more like this exist
Brings me back to games like Ultima Underworld, Wizardry, M&M, among others. Simple to grasp with lovely graphics, easily 5 stars. The Developer responds and will try to fix any issue one may have. I look forward to the next game while enjoying this. Thank you!
