The charting and account summary is good. My Order history is slow to refresh. If I click a transaction to review it, it more often than not refreshes at the instant I touch the screen, pulling up the wrong transaction. Sometimes it logs me out "for inactivity" even when I'm using it, crashes every 1-2 minutes, or fails to open at all. It only allows 1 new ticker search before I have to restart the app. I've lost $1000s because I couldn't access my account when I most needed to.

Mobile version has tons of bugs in the app. Scenario: Cannot search tickets(issue is intermittent). Scenario: Fingerprint login works intermittently. Scenario: Order Limit buy was set to be as specific as possible but both the limit price and quantity filled were different.(executed order shows that it filled the position at the price set on limit buy but it was filled before the limit price). The list goes on and on. What's the point of hefty commission, if the app doesn't even perform well.

First time I've ever reviewed and app and it's because it is so awful. The load times are insanely long, and it doesn't even work most of the time if you are on data. The fingerprint scanner is constantly bugging out. You would think with such an app heavy competitor like wealthsimple that they would have something that could rival it. The fact that I cannot access the app outside of wifi is a very good reason to switch.

I like trading with queateade. But this app is terrible. I'll login twice a few hours apart on the same device and it tells me this is a new device and have to go through security checks. Plus the charts miss data, whole days missing on the charts!! Completely not accurate and detrimental to trading. The ability to search for a stock now appears limited to one search. After that it just won't let you type in to search.

At first the Questrade app seemed good. Then I started noticing multiple issues. It would randomly cut out to a loading screen while I was in the middle of using it. It would display incorrect account balances, even though it was just opened from scratch, and the website was showing correct balances. I like the way it works, but these glitches are easily enough for me to stop using the app. Hopefully these are dealt with soon, because an app is usually quicker to use than a website.

It's extremely slow most of the times. The UI needs work, it's not convenient to even go back out of a page without pressing "x"... You can't limit that basic function to one option on a phone. You should be able to go back by pressing back. You're basically using a windows version on a phone... It's such a small thing but extremely irritating every time. I hope it gets updated soon.

Would give zero stars if I could. Want a reliable app to make trades on? Look somewhere else. Been with QT for nearly 10 years and the only reason I haven't switched is the hassle of moving to another platform, but lately I've been exploring options. Lost so much money because QT is down. They literally don't care and their customer service is nearly nonexistent. Expect a reply a week from when you email them and it won't even be relevant.

The app used to function well, but lately I'm caught in endless loading screens that make it unusable. My phone runs everything else well, I have no background processes running, and a stable, high speed internet connection. Still, the app is stuck in an endless cycle of loading. I love questrade, it's a great platform with good customer service. However, their app is unusable.

At some point it stops working. I've been using it on and off the last year and a half. The first half year it went great, then at some point error messages was everywhere. It would sign me into an error page. It would forget my log in information randomly. I would get asked to re-verify my account on the same IP. The app has lost my trust on using questrade, and I use it almost exclusively on the computer instead.

The app is meh. It does what I need it to do, buy/sell stocks and options. However, itblags about 15 minutes behind the actual stock market, so don't base you call and sell of the listed prices. The app is very slow and does not seem to be optimized for the phone. Also, they were almost instant to review my transfer account fund to get my money over, however it's been about two months and they still have yet to review the transfer rebate, weird? Maybe look for something else if you can.

It does show my current positions. That's good. And Questrade itself is great. The app though, is mediocre. There is no app settings control. Can't change or add fingerprint login, edit notifications. Seems like just a link to the web platform, but with half the tools. Does not recognize the phone's navigation ie. Back button. Needs some work.

App is slow and unreliable; arguably the very two things you need most in a trading application. I'm getting more and more frustrated and disappointed with Questrade as it seems many are from YouTube. Until I find an alternative I'll stick with it, they don't seem interested in improving and so I just need to find out where I'm moving.

The website is great, the platform is great, but honestly whoever designed the mobile app really needs to be replaced and they need to make it their life goal to drastically improve it. The amount of times I need to verify myself via email is ridiculous even if you're on the same Wifi. It's really buggy and glitches me out, luckily it hasn't happened when I'm making trades. Only reason it's getting 2 stars besides 1 is because I don't use it often enough to possibly see all the issues.

Questrade itself is great. The app needs a complete redesign. It feels old school, and it has constant loading wheels that lead me to have to close and reopen the app, starting the log in process. This app has lost me an estimated of about $5-600usd because I can't switch to a 3rd party charting app, and then switch back. When I switch back it freezes.

The UI is not great since the last overhaul. On loading, the app regularly shows nothing after entering your credentials. No loading screen, no please wait, just shows nothing. In the app, your device's back button doesn't interact with some screens. The core functions work well once the app loads & questrade is still my preferred investing platform.

Works ok. Some trade fees and the currency conversion rate are gonna have to be amended if they want to keep people from switching to Wealthsimple. One complaint is the app is incredibly slow at times. (My Connection is 100%. Other apps load fine) Another is the "Logged out due to inactivity" timer is all over the map. I've opened the app 30 mins after closing it and its kept me logged in. Other times I switch to a second app for 5 minutes, and upon my return it logs me out. Annoying.

Great service and prices. However the app is terrrrrrribly slow - specifically the fingerprint login. I've been trying to log in for the past 15 minutes. It would recognize my fingerprint but nothing would happen. I tried closing and opening the app multiple times. Then manual login button does not work at all - it is very very frustrating. As others have told me this service is best used on a desktop computer. Update: after 3 hours still unable to log into the app

App is so slow and won't even login. Despite using correct ID and password it keeps saying to use right credentials. After so many attempts to login if you logged in than it won't show anything and so slow that you have to log out and log in for 100 times to make it work. After a week of using it the fingerprint won't work. It's total garbage app.

Just awful. The app is painfully slow and questrade as a whole is probably the worst investment platform I've ever used. What's more, the browser version for questrade is somehow worse than the app. Honestly people should save their sanity and just stay away from Questrade. Update for more Mickey Mouse BS. Trying to complete a sell order but it's being rejected. An error message pops up at the bottom of the screen but it's cut off and you can't actually open the error, tapping it closes it...

It does almost everything well. But none of that matters if you can't log in. It freezes with a green background when you launch the app. No login screen in sight. Uninstalling didn't fix the issue. It's been acting up ever since the new biometric authentication was introduced.

Very sluggish app. After a successful auth, it just displays the please wait for ages. We are not talking seconds, but 10s of seconds. Try to change to reports and it does the same, go back to trade, does the same. Why is this app sooooooooo slow? Especially one that is build for an industry where timing and speed is important. Please hire some professionals to optimize your app. It is embarrassing.

App interface is good and user friendly, some options, specifically options exercising and currency exchange are located in odd places. One issue I'm having is the fingerprint id hasn't been working even after re-installation when trying to use it, it will say incorrect username or password... What? I'm trying to use my fingerprint. Overall fairly good add, needs refining and minors bug fixes. Please fix the fingerprint login feature.

Worst app ever. Terribly slow to login to. VERY outdated - looks like Windows95, but has way less functionality. Very cumbersome, terrible design. When I login I should reasonbly expect to be greeted by a summary and a current status of my portolio. Now, it's a minimum of 10 clicks (with 4 accounts) just to see the totals, but not the profits or losses per account without opening each one up individually or scorlling. BRUTAL. Did I mention VERY SLOW? I can't believe this ever passed testing.

Unusable. Laggy slow loading. Cant run in background. Meaning if u minimize it to check something else, once you return to app. It would stuck in white blank screen. Data fetching is terribly slow. Come on quest!! Opportunity fly by fast, are you guy still want to build a business?? I mean this is basic functionality of any apps.
