Quick Family Tree

I like it a lot. Super easy to use. Exactly what it says. Quick, easy, uncomplicated. Busted out a 50 person tree in under an hour. Including note-checking. There ARE ads, but they're not intrusive and their presence keeps this incredibly useful tool free. So no biggie. Personally, the project that I need a tree for takes a little more detail than this app provides. But! My only issues are very specific tiny things that probably won't apply to most people and really aren't dealbreakers.

I wasted a whole lot of time with this app. Frustrating how branches disappear and reappear, but what I really found frustrating was to finish my tree only to find that it can't be exported as a PDF or any file type easily viewable to others, which was the whole reason for doing it. I now have an unshareable tree on my phone and I had to watch ads to make it. Willing to edit review of someone can point out that I'm missing something.

This is a neat app. There is one bug which I hope can be sorted out. For some reason the settings icon on top-right and Unlimited icon on top-left land right underneath my status bar, and so I cannot press these buttons. My phone is a Mi 9T. I also hope that a more a conventional either CSV or PDF output can be produced to share with those who are not using the app. Thanks.

The resolution of the Tree is bad. I agree with a number of the reviews that a feature to convert to PDF would be useful. I can't continue to use this app, as the resolution is so bad. Entering the data was fine and the options were useful, but at the end of the da, if I can't see a full family tree clearly, the App has failed.

This app is great for family get-togethers. It's easy to add people so I get a picture of how the people at a gathering are related; I then remember them more easily next time. I really like the ability to add a picture for each person. I'm taking one star off because there's no cloud sync. You can export and import data, but you have to do this manually every time. It would be great if I could automatically sync it with Dropbox or Google Drive.

The app has a few flaws, but for what I use it for -mapping semi complex family trees for fictional stories- only one of them bugs me, hence the four stars. I simply wish the app had a dark mode. The issues others have raised, such as the low quality of exported images and the lack of a pdf export, are realistically features that should be implemented sooner, assuming any ideas are at all. The app could easily have been long since abandoned, given the most recent update was a bug fix mid 2019.

Used it as a Notepad to quickly structure information about my distant family. It allowed all relationships I encountered, including half-siblings (contrary to other reviews). Adopted Children are also possible (Parents can be added in Pairs, multiple times). Could use an undo button, but never needed it too much. Expand All option would be nice. Main focus where simplicity, working offline without issues and any export functionality, it did all of those well.

The app is very great with nice UI and is also very easy to use. Some bugs in the app are: Low resolution photo even when maxed Suggestion to fix: may capture everything regardless of photo size Importing files are hard Suggestion: maybe try to change */* to .*\\.ftz Overall the app does not seem to lag even if there are 7 generations and 58 people in the family tree. I hope this app will get updated soon.

Very useful application.. Import and export facility also provided. Please provide the facility to change background color as per user's choice. Import button should be there in the application same as export button. So it is very easy to import from anywhere. Currently when I click .Ftz file then Quick Family tree app is not associated with it. So unable to open the export file.

I would have given this 4 stars. I could have given input how to make it a 5+ star app. I just updated this app because it was no longer letting me export the photos. I LOST ALL MY INFORMATION AFTER THE UPDATE! It went completely blank! Saying I am not happy is an understatement! Please restore my tree as it was before the update! You really need to have a way to back up the Information , that it gets sent to your email, to one drive or something! Thousands of hours of work lost! 😩

I haven't used for too long but so far it's been great! I have only experienced one problem so far which has to do with having multiple ex partners that have children of there own. For example if I have one person and that person married some one and had a kid but then gets a divorce and has a new partner it won't let me connect them as ex partners and current. Sorry if that made no sense but I would like to see an update fixing that (:

Very easy to use and can intuitively make your way around the app. However, my one frustration is that the screen auto-rotates even if your mobile settings have the auto-rotate feature turned off. A feature that lets you lock the screen orientation would be very much appreciated.

It's very easy to used, much more than other app (i already tried many kind of similar app). But we only can see the result in image file, and that's so bad. Hope u can make other kind file to export like in pdf or anything similar. Also, i need something to bind it, for example we can bind it in our facebook or google account, then we still have an access to it whenever our gadget have a problem There is no doubt to me to pay for ur app if u can add this fiture, thank u!

Works alright, but damn is the rigidity annoying. Like Alex Berg said, the app collapses the connections that aren't directly attached to the person you're working on. Also, you can't organize things in your own way, because it pushes all relationships to the right; makes multiple marriages and the like painful to organize. Also trying to add a third parent (stepparent) was frustrating.

Great app. Much better than My heritage etc. it's really easy to use and i like that you can move people around and change the tree layout. Suggestion for improvement: Add a function to share trees with your family members in the app so they can add people to the tree. (i know that you can download the file and send it but it's a pain). Thanks.

Everything is fine, no excellent, except for a fine detail.. When there are many inter-connecting links through inter-family marriages, these criss-crossing links are indistinguishable (atleast some different colour-lines are needed). Could you make that possible.. Rest all are well-appreciated.

It's fairly easy to use and *very* helpful for making family trees with. Only kinda-bad thing is that it can only display direct descendents/ancestors of the currently selected individual. (For example, when I select myself, I can see all of my siblings except for my half-sister. But if I select our father, it shows both of us, because we're both his kids.) Just give it a quick try. Don't like it? Uninstall it. 5 minutes of your life are gone. Like it? Now you've found a great app to use!

Really please to have found this app, it's what I've been looking for for ages. I'd like a paid version to get rid of the ads, but they're not too obtrusive. I'd like the export function to be a little more straightforward, I'm not sure if I'm just not doing it properly or if it just isn't available, but I'd like to export/import between devices. Still, even without that it's a handy way to show a tree.
