Quick Position Save

This app will help you saving easily and quickly your GPS location, while you are walking, or driving, to use it at home or send it to a friend.
It will be really useful to save the location of a noticable place, to send your location to a friend, or to save a POI location.

Don't hesitate to send comments, to share your feelings or to warn about problems.

About permissions:
- GPS position : of course, GPS position access is needed...
- access to SD card : needed to write positions files before sharing
- contact list : needed to choose a contact to send a SMS to

Great little app does what it says easy and quick to use. It even tells you how accurate is your signal.People who accuse it of been inaccurate don't know that is not the fault of the app but their receiver instead?? Best of all it is free and has no adds

Ugly. Doesn't support Android Quick Tiles to quickly save a location. Instead the quick buttons are in the app! Come on, we have year 2019! this is ancient programming.

Love the App but it guides me exactly away from a location. I am at 26 south and 28 east. Maybe a Southern hemisphere problem.

Can you, please, stop showing all those "access to... needed because" messages every time? - I got it - after I denied it during the first run. Why I keep reading those - I don't know...

Rather than using other GPS track logging apps, which always let me down as inevitably the GPS loses its fix several times, I use this app to save multiple waypoints on my treks and then generate my track myself later. It has a bug though: if you rename a saved position, it loses the date and time and sets it to 01 January 1970. I can work around this however by, instead of renaming within the app, backing up the data, then manually editing the file with a text editor, then restoring. Plus, as a bonus, though I don't know how, it helps my phone get a GPS fix faster than any other app I've used.

Only 2 problems I find. First is it only saves coordinates and second is the gps is slightly off. I still find it better than allot of these other apps though
