I love this app. It's super convenient. However, since the latest update I'm no longer able to see all of my invoices as I could before. Some of them won't show up even searching under the specific client, but I can find them in QBO. Invoicing is what I mainly use the app for and because I'm not usually at my PC, the app helps me answer any questions clients have when they call. Hoping to get this issue resolved and back to how the app was before.
This mobile version does about 1/8 of qbo and of that 1/2 of its functionality is buggy. Searching for an invoice does not search what's in the invoice data fields, it only searches the invoice number and the total amount. That's not helpful for me. I need to be able to search within data fields of all invoices (even more than a year old).
I only use the app to take photos of my receipts. I use the PC for everything else. So this new I can only take 5 pics at a time thing is a pain. I often get batches of 20+ receipts at the end of a job. Total pain. Please revert. Also, it seems to not be talking to the camera anymore to focus. My larger receipts are always blurry, and I can't get them to focus no matter what I try.
The app is ok but they sell your data. Not ok considering I pay a monthly subscription for the app. Each time I open the app and look at my invoices (i have a few that are long overdue) I get a targeted ad shortly after on my Facebook for a collection agency selling their collection services. I only see this ad after I have quickbooks open and I see it every time.
When this app works, it's fantastic. It's so much easier to use and faster than the browser version. That being said, I consistently encounter too many issues that make it unreliable for me. The app will often freeze or hang when saving invoices. Sometimes, my customers don't load properly, so I can't search for them. The most egregious failure, however, is when I've taken all the steps up to taking a payment, and instead of allowing me to swipe or enter card details, I arrive on a white screen.
Without doubt QuickBooks and the mobile app are the worst software experience you will ever encounter. The app hangs during bank authorisation every 90 days. The tax payment system is random in nature and doesn't understand UK operation. If you live outside the US then it's even worse. Nothing about this app or the software is helpful to a UK user. I wish I had never started to use it. Complete waste of time. I've suffered for 4 years hoping things would get better. They haven't. I'll be moving
Update: excellent customer service to sort out connecting a credit card. However, original problem still there. The feedback was that you shouldn't expect the app to be able to do everything, even though there is the button to add an account.... Had to use desktop site. .... Open banking connection to bank accounts is hit and miss. Get as far as bank authorisation then it goes to blank screen. I've wasted hours that I don't have trying to set this up....
It seems the app is completely disconnected from the online software. A while back, I noticed that I couldn't login to Quickbooks online. It said my account didn't exist (after using it for 3 years). After calling 4 times, they claimed they found a security issue and closed my account. After many more frustrating phone calls, my account was reopened, but the app did not recognize this change. The app still says my account doesn't exist, yet I can log in on desktop. I'm beyond frustrated.
This app is horrible when entering expenses. Once you have entered all data and SAVED it, the screen still remains on the "new expenses". When you hit the exit key you get a warning message saying if you exit all data will be lost. So you save again. Same thing happens. Soon you have 3 or 4 of the same expenses! This has been broken for many versions!
Until the update, on 3/21/22, I had very few issues with this app, now it makes me sign in every few minutes, doesn't refresh data, and glitches out with half the features. I am beyond frustrated! I uninstalled and re-installed the app a few times and restarted my phone, but it didn't solve the problems. HELP!! I use this app daily so to be having these issues is not going to work.
This app that I have used the last 4 years is no longer functioning. I rely on this app to run my business, and currently it flat out doesn't work. When I try to adjust my invoices it won't save and an error message pops up to call quickbooks. When I call quickbooks, they don't because they say the don't support the app. It is an endless frustrating loop and I am unable to run my business effectively. Someone reach out to me and fix this (developers).
I tried all day to do a simple renewal of subscription. The customer support took forever to reply to each message and didn't even resolve the issue. It is very frustrating that a simple transaction could not be completed even after trying for so long. Having used it for the last 4 years, I am now encountering worst customer service. As a company, we plan to move from QuickBooks to a better service provider. Will definitely tell my network not to use QuickBooks. Very disappointed
Quickbooks is an integral part of my back office as a small business. Bookkeeping and reporting are simplified and invoices can easily be created from phone. My issue is invoices created by the phone app don't match the functionality of the desktop version. Overall would recommend.
Been using this app for several years and over the years the updates always takes away features that are used regularly. Latest update has made the app very slow and glitchy. Bring back the scroll bar in the customer list like the iPhone has and stop auto resetting back to the top of the customer list. Would be nice if I could send an invoice and it automatically give me the option to go to the next customer instead of having to exit andscroll to the next customer after each invoice is created.
I have been using this app for years it has been very useful until recently. It's not syncing with regular QuickBooks online desktop version. All of my customers after the letter m are not available in the app but they are on the desktop version. They are incorrect combined tax rates which I cannot delete from the app. I have to change it for each invoice I create because it defaults to the wrong one. I have deleted them on the desktop version and everything looks good.
App is okay, some functions only usable on desktop, I cant seem to add all the notes etc via the app. Another thing, beware of their empty promises when signing up, I had a bunch of first few month discount promises, they will be applied after signup etc. It just never happens. Full price from day one! Also no print statement for customer feature on the app, not sure on desktop. Just an update, have mailed quickbooks and corresponded as requested yet no correction has been made.
App is terrible. Tells me I have no overdue invoices, or some other random figure like £1,200 when the figure is actually around £50k. Constantly freezes/crashes and its difficult to find the information wanted (like total outstanding invoices and total amount of all invoices). A lot of improvement needed. UPDATE Uninstalled and reinstalled. Unfortunately the app is still as terrible.
I have typed the same sales reciept at least 5 times and it says saved and no it definitely is not. I closed the tab, I closed the app, it keeps freezing and closing itself as I am typing. I am using a samsung chromebook plus. pleaaaase help I have a lot to catch up on for taxes and at this rate it will be next year before I get them done. Sincerely, frustrated business owner
Regularily deletes info randomly from past transactions. No way to get it back. Wheather it be payments received or individual items in an invoice, it will alter or delete the info that you put in. You will only find out when you customer calls. Not good accounting software. You have to go over and over old transactions to maintain correct info.
QuickBooks is the most haphazardly thrown together app that I have installed. The app randomly freezes and glitches on my Note 20 Ultra and on my iPhone 12. The other thing that bugs me is that you cannot access the same features on the mobile version that is present on the online version. I only use this app because I have to.
It loses my data. I can log in. It says it is my company. But once again I no longer have any customer data, invoices, or anything. Not sure what quicken plans to do to keep my business, but this is unacceptable. Last time I was able to uninstall the app, and reinstall the app, and then my data reappeared; however, that is beneath the reliability level I need.
