I use this app with every quilting project I do! I hate the math part of quilting, and this app does it for me with excellent results every time. Binding, borders, backing, etc...all calculated by the width and length of my quilt. Kudos!
I tried using this for the first time today. I'm impressed. I always sat and tried to figure out fabric needs by hand. I'm very good at math and love doing it but it would still take so much time. This is just wonderful. I can take this to the store with me, if I find a fabric I like that is different width than what I did the math on i can just put it in so easy and it's fast to readjust the amount of fabric i need to make my quilt. THANK YOU!!!!!
I use this app all the time. It's a great time saver for calculating fabric yardage. Thanks for correcting the binding calculator as it had stopped giving you the option of choosing what size binding you prefer.
I have been using the RK app for at least 8 years. On the go , in the quilt shop or at home to find the amount needed for many projects, always accurate! I usually enlarge most quit patterns to my liking and this app helps me to calculate what I need to purchase.
calculates yardage and pieces for piecework binding and backing. does not have provosion for layout or notes on individual projects. does not have social media connectivity. its a specialized calculator. plain and simple. Either Im super chintzy or its generous - but I have found its estimations to be generous and forgiving.
Love this app. When I am having brain farts it fills in the gaps and saves me so much time. No guessing how much binding or how many steps needed for borders. I highly recommend this for quilters.
Great app to take to the fabric store. a few taps and I know how much is required for my quilt border, backing or binding. No more math in mt head! Metric to Imoerial conversion is no problem.
The best tool for quilters! You can figure out how much fabric to buy, how many cuts out of a piece of fabric, what size backing and batting to buy. I never leave home without it!
Every Quilter should have this! So useful when figuring out cuts and yardage, great for designing your own patterns.
Not always accurate on borders. It stated I need 6 yds for a 12 inch border for a 39x64. Did the formula by hand and only need 2 1/2, based on a 40 fabric width. but other computations were correct
I love this app. I used it on my old Kindle but couldn't get it on my new one and I was really upset. Now I have it on my phone and it will be right there when I need it at the quilt shop or in my sewing studio.
Previous version worked. On pieces 2 yardage there's no way to input # of pieces. Is it just my Samsung J3Star that has problems? Useless as it is.
Not as accurate as it should be, or as needed to be. Doesn't have fabric width conversions for backing.
Amazing! Wish I knew about these charts before now. Will refer to them often.
wish it helped with designing my own quilt and figuring out the yardage needed for a quilt top and not just for borders, binding and backing...bummer.
Not sure how well it works since it's white letters on beige background making it impossible to read anything

I finally was able to download the app, network error! Can now say it looks really good. I haven't used it yet to calculate any measurements for a quilt but I've had a little play and can see how useful it will be. Very straightforward and easy to use, helpful explanations, just punch in your measurements and it gives the required amount of fabric needed, quick and easy. Thank you and well done 👏
