Good concept, there used to be free packs, now everything is paid or subscription. Not worth it I'm uninstalling
My family really enjoys this app. We have come back to it for holiday activities for the past 2 or 3 years. It's been great to see the options for images grow. Wish there were more, but appreciate that the library of options has grown. However, upon reinstalling the app we have lost the images that we paid for. I have had to repurchase image packs more than once. My phone has gone really hot while running the app too. I would give this 5 stars, but these drawbacks knock it down to 3 for me.
It's a cool idea that feels half-baked. We really enjoyed how the drawings came to life with our own colors and textures, and some of the games were fun. It feels like a disappointment therefore that the scanning process is so lengthy and the images so unstable; I found that almost any attempt to improve angle or move the camera around made the images disappear.
As usual with apps like these, it doesn't work at all. It would help to include clear statements on which phone is needed for it to work, or at least have the Play Store check automatically with the device for compatibility, instead of disappointing children with unreliable tech. We tried on 5 different devices by the way. Very dissapointing.
If endless progress bars and spinners are your thing, have no problem with an app eating 200+ MB of storage before it's even running fully, then don't mind if it doesn't do anything useful at the end of it, then go for it! Any app targeting kids needs a lot more instant gratification. I expect it would have done something worthwhile if I'd waited longer but if I don't have the patience to sit through its tedious initialisation and jerky screen refresh, my child certainly wouldn't! Uninstalled.
Very good idea but implementation is buggy. I bough subscription and my kids colored several pictures, but only one of those pictures where recognized by app. The official site is very laggy and it's a bit challenging to download pictures. Not worth money. I will request moneyback.
I tried this on the New Zealand picture my daughter brought home from school and it just kept telling me to tap to focus. I got it to show a 3d version of the plane for a few seconds but as soon as i tried to actually move the AR view around it went away. I had the whole picture in frame and my phone is a Pixel 4 XL. It just plain doesn't seem to work.
It took way to long to load and it had to much sound to when you tapped it. I think that when you had the picture up it was way to blurry and that needed to be fixed. Other then the waiting and the camera stuff it is a cool app. I recommend this app if you are patient other than that I don't really recommend.
No where on their website does it specify you need multiple apps. Specific app for masks, for fashion, or the plain coloring pages. I wasted hours trying to get this stupid thing to work - just to find an unrelated blog that linked the other apps. Extremely poor planning. Especially since it's not mentioned in the trouble shooting section of the website at all.
The camera speed needs to be fixed, there is a bunch of lag. The sluggishness of the camera made it hard to make the picture show up in 3D. If it was fixed then this would be a good app.
When coloring it, it's not working. Probably because it is colored a bit outside lines. We colored in chulk in order for the line to be always visible, but it didn't help. You can improve by adding qr code or some other non picture recognition.
My son's quiver pictures were sent home with him from school today and he was really excited to show me how his picture can come to life. I downloaded the app on my phone and when I'm trying to scan in the picture it keeps freezing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and no matter what I try I can't get the app to work. Please fix this problem I would love to see it work.
After printing quite a lot of pages, I was asked to pay RM11.99 to play. After I made the payment, still I can't play coz I was asked to pay more. Wasting time and money. I felt cheated.... Update : I just noticed that there are free version and paid version. I printed the worksheet from paid version and that's why I was asked to pay. I don't have problem using the free version and the pack I have bought....
Very cool app. It really brings drawings to life and the angle also changes according to the camera angle. The 3d drawings also come out the same volor as on the paper.
Cannot find app on my phone? No shortcut created. Kids insisted I install it yesterday, seemed to work well. App store recognises I have it installed, however there is absolutely no app icon on my phone to locate it and no option to open the app in the store.
Brilliant: coloring pages that come to life. With sounds! Plenty of good stuff in the free version. Love it! Highly recommended to science teachers.
my daughter needs this app on her computer for distance learning, I thought it would work seeing as most computers have android apps on them these days, so I installed it, no apparently I need to connect a tablet or a phone to it (she has a tablet, but it is in for repair after her spilling milk on it) so it looks like she can't do this work :(
The app doesn't seem to be working. I have coloured sheet and tried to scan for the 3-D effect but the scanningvfeature seems to be off. Can the developer team gelp me with the same. i can send you the coloured sheet if required.
It doesn't work its a rip off
There are an yellow "PACKS" button and a green "Subscribe" button in center main screen after install. So I have to buy the pack or subscribe to use the app? Is there any "trial" way to use before I decide to buy? I have tried to play with a printed picture but nothing happened, it didn't show any 3d animation at all. Please help!
Doesn't work at all. Tried scanning the picture with both and android and apple. Telling my kids to not color in a picture is much seems pointless to color at all if the app won't pick it up. Thumbs down.
Downloaded the app on two different devices. Both said "installed" but when you click on the app icon it brings up the "app info" screen.....doesn't do anything else? Disappointed.
the screen is always black with green box. please fix it. my internet connection and my camera are good and working well. why the app doesn't work/function?
Nothing works without payment. I did not even get the chance to see if my daughter likes the app. Besides, the animation only works with books purchased from them. I think this is a classic case of greedy rip off.
OMG!! This app is the best!! It is such a fun educational app and my kids love it. Besides digital awesomness there is the added bonus of good old fashioned coloring, which is a great time pass. Gooood job!!!
I was excited to use this but something went wrong... if i open the quiver there all i can see is black or sometimes green on the screen it seems that the camera does not function well with the app.. what to do?
Used up my time coloring a page and downloading the app just to be told I can't get the full experience unless I purchase different packs and download more apps.
I want to launch but it doesn't work. Just the first pack is available that is free nd it's only 3 pages! I want another packs that can't work for me! I should join to class but I don't have any code so I can't use all pages!! What should I do ?? Pls help me.
