Minimum requirements to use this application
• Please ensure you have a QNAP NAS with QTS 4.3.5 or above.
• Please ensure you have installed QVPN v2.0 or above from the NAS App Center, and the protocol QBelt initialized.
• Android 5.1 or above.

Setup was extremely easy and painless. Once I setup MyQnapCloid, and in it enabled QVPN UDP port forwarding to UPnP enabled router (via QNAP Auto Router Configuration feature), added username for use in VPN, and enabled Qbelt access for the username being used for this VPN, it connected without any problems at all. It uses SSL to connect and works wonderfully. All the steps I mentioned above are normal part of proper user setup and access control, along with VPN setup, so that is normal.
After initially leaving a great review some time ago, I now find this app to be very unstable and fails to connect most times. After all the Qlocker problems it seems the alternative VPN options to connect to the qnap are buggy and need vast improvement and proper testing.
It seems to work for me only when I mark 'Remember me'. That is unacceptable. I use different external port numbers than local. QBelt (only option available) doesn't allow split-tunmeling, apparently.
Pure garbage. Does not even connect struggles to save entered credentials. Everytime I hit connect it says failed to make vpn connection. I had to toggle ssl on off in order to save my nas credentials even then it doesn't even work. Qvpn is a total joke
Nice idea, poor implementation. Like the most people here, I've lost few hours of my lifetime. The consumer doesn't need to look for solution, it is provider's job. QVPN is in beta stages yet! If you have nothing better to do as to loose your time providing feedbacks to QNAP technician, here you go.
Terrible instructions on website by qnap. No tutorials for setup. App gives no error message just disconnects and tells me to contact administrator. I have setup qvpn on the nas with qbelt enabled. No further instructions are found.
It Works but not for all apps? Qnap apps and my browser seem to go through the VPN but my speed test app and devices connected to my hot spot do not. Strange behavior.
need some polishing. i get connection limited due to webport problem. entering in logs kills app. my connection is manual, i tried with SSL and without with same result. it would be nice to see IP address in notification
App keeps crashing on Android One phone, tried different things. Was working before, something changed.
I had no idea why the connect speed is so slow when I connect my nas through qnapcloud. I worked previously but no longer working now.
Fantastic QNAP NAS TS-873... This setup overall was painless but I'm an IT administrator. Great product for the cost. Will buy another.
Not great. Not reliable.. Won't connect most of the time. OK once connected.
Mi Max 2 with latest updates and software won't start up, it tries, but no error or anything...
really messy, better use wireguard or openvpn as performance and implementation is much better
Does not work on Android for Chrome OS. Works well on other devices though.
easy ti set up. make sure you have correct UDP port forwarding under the myQNAPcloud setting for your NAS

My nas motherboard failed after 2 years (after warranty expired) Now i'm left without a VPN and a NAS

Vpn connection not work
QVPN interface is fine, but issue is functionality, particularly with QBELT which im finding very very unreliable. I used OpenVPN on QVPN for a very long time and it has been very stable, but very occassionally when using Qbelt i get 'unable to establish connection'. I would need to restart the QVPN service manually to fix the issue, so clearly some bug. If they can fix this, surely it would deserve 4/5 stars.
