R-Motion Golf
Track every swing you take on the range with the seamless R-Motion mobile app. Our lightweight sensor lets you swing freely and track everything from tempo to ball speed. Use the swing path visualization to work on your swing and fine tune your game.
The range visualizer provides ball flight information as well as your swing visualization. Replay a shot to better understand how your ball flight relates to your stats or replay your swing to see how you need to refine your club path. Click over to the stats tab to get a full readout of your club and ball results from your last swing.
Every shot taken is stored in the history tab that you can sort shot by shot. Every club is stored so you can track you progress over time. Mishit a ball or your buddy yelled during your backswing? Take a mulligan and delete that shot in the history tab. Make sure to go into the club selection to customize your club length and face angle for optimal data collection.

So far so good, though I did experience some minor difficulties when setting things up. At present I have no reason to complain about the overall functionality and cannot imagine why so many users seem to be encountering issues. Initially I was unable to connect the sensor to my phone (Samsung Galaxy 9+) but a simple restart fixed the problem. Will update my review as I deem it pertinent and/or necessary. [Could use more features and feedback options.]
Does not work with note 9. The app is essentially pretty good from what I've seen, but the issue seems to be a bluetooth bandwidth problem as my note 9 doesn't even pick up the r motion. Funny, my note 4 picks up the bluetooth connection with the r motion no problem, but the app is not compatible with my note 4 software so the mobile setup for the r motion is useless to me. App needs an update pronto.
still cannot pass through the logon screen with latest update of the app. Updated Dec 11, 2019. Can this be fixed? It's been a year. Samsung GS8 Updated Feb 5, 2020, still cannot pass through the first screen, none of the buttons work. Should be a simple fix to apply the right api for each phone's version. Very disappointed with lack of supports on mobile app. Updated on 7/20/2020, still same issue.
Utterly useless on Galaxy S10 Can't get it to connect to my S10 with Bluetooth. They need to update or why claim it's a swing analyzer when you can't use the phone app to see your shots. At the moment its just a glorified game. I'll adjust the review if I ever get a response from customer support or the update the device firmware to work with more than iPhones.
App worked on my old galaxy so but my new samsung phone no dice, will not connect via Bluetooth, please update this app to work with the newer phones, they still sell this product would be nice if they kept it working. Update, finally got it to work every once in a while on my new phone, still hard to use and only works when it wants to.
App worked fine for about a week and now will not log in. I have used three different devices and two different data sources to no avail. Customer service only available by email. Attempted to chat with someone only to get disconnected, tried again immediately and no one showed up.
Disappointed to find out that the app isn't compatible with my Moto G phone. I was able to install on an Galaxy tab, but I didn't really want to have to drag that to the range. I rarely find apps not compatible with my phone, so I was surprised.
The app will not connect to my Samsung Galaxy S10 plus and support is almost nonexistent. I have been emailing the manager Brian Dietrich who has attempted to help, but in the end was unable to do anything. I have had my R-Motion Sensor for four days now and have not been able to use it with my phone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. Of course, if the customer support system was more efficient and effective that MIGHT be a saving grace. So far, that is not the issue.
This is really great news which I have been waiting for while I have been using PC only for R motion. the screen layout is good enough so far, the information in the app is very useful. Thanks for the improvement.
app stinks. No problems connecting with the J7 but the ball flight rarely matched shots on driving range, so the app is still worthless once you connect...PC simulator seems to work ok though, so I'm not returning it yet...
It would help if #1 you said this was for iphone only. #2 It we have to explain that you have the have some piece of hardware for this app to work. #3 To the user having issues getting past the lock and screen: Fix your email make sure There is no extra space after It , By hitting backspace at the end Then just hit log in after you've reentered it regardless of your error passage it will go through
I spent $200 on the R motion golf analyzer package. It's not worth it. Didn't work on my samsung S8 or my Apple iPad. The app says connected and ready but doesnt do anything. Customer support said to uninstall and try again. NO CHANGE. All around disappointed with the app and the product. Dont waste your time or money.
Can't register the app doesn't show a keyboard to enter the data. This app is designed for an IPHONE it doesn't work on an Andriod. I have the most recent version of software on my Galaxy S9 phone. Not going to buy their product if the app won't ever work.
It fine when it actually works. The app is very unreliable. For example with my situation it will be working one day perfectly then the very next day I can't even login with the app. You can tell Rapsodo really did not spend a lot of time on development of the app.
Will not connect to my android phone. Site shows there is an option and that the plan is to upgrade the app capabilities, but hasn't been upgraded. Not everyone is an Apple only user !
Rating as 1 star for now, because I can't get past the login screen even after reinstalling. After I type everything in, nothing happens when I click any of the available buttons. Using a Pixel 3 XL.
NO Bluetooth connection to my Galaxy. After reading other reviews it seems to be a common issue. Sure wish I would have read these prior to buying, there is no reason this product should be for sale until the bugs worked out. Super disappointed
The device will not connect with my galaxy s-10. i have had it for 4 months... wish I could get my money back & get the Arccos system... It works with my laptop, but will not sync with my phone.
Did work now clocks. S9 plus I don't know what happened. Tried reinstalling same issue. Need to fix. It was great for chipping and putting in the house.
Wildly inaccurate (you'll hit an 8 iron 145 yards then 220 Yards on the same swing, I duffed a drive and it registered 220 yards), clips are cheap plastic and break very easily and customer service is non-existent. I mean they wont even respond. Stay Away
This app works on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Samsung S7 Edge, but doesn't work on my Samsung S20 Ultra. I can log into the app but it won't detect my sensor with my S20 Ultra. I hope they fix this issue.
Samsung note 9. latest software. can login to the app but cant connect pair via bluetooth so absolutely useless. would love for it to work.
still waiting for an app that works with the galaxy note 9. what a waste of 300 dollars. I'm really glad I spent an extra hundred dollars on cheesy plastic clips too. what a ripoff
I found it to be a piece of junk. I downloaded the app and all I ever get is download games then it just shuts down. there are cheaper analyzers that will work when you buy it. Don't buy this one.
Works fine with my Galaxy S7. Consistently showing negative club path and launch angle is a little high. I now know what to work on.
I bit clunky to learn but provides decent shot data for r-motion android users. lots of room for improvement and hope the developers keep going strong with android support.
It will not pair with my galaxy s10. According to the packaging it's compatible but it will not pair. The tracker doesn't show as discoverable in my phones bluetooth. So far customer support hasn't been able to provide a solution. Their fix was to uninstall and reinstall the app but it had no effect. It does work with my laptop via the dongle and it appears accurate. Would really like to use the mobile version on the driving range...
