Its a decent strategy game. It's quite short however, and the later levels simply end in a deadlock between you and the ai because the ai is too dumb to beat you, but has too much of a planet advantage to actually be beaten. The only way to get around this is to get lucky, and quickly and perfectly take the exact planets you need right at the start of the round. Also there is an ad everytime you start or restart a level halfway through the game.
Confusing. So I was okay with it starting off, but then the portals were intoduced, and they are terrible. I was stuck at stages 32 and 33 because I didn't know which portal goes where, and the AI have a huge advantage since the portals closest to them give huge strategical points. I had to lower the difficulty to easy to even be able to beat stage 33.
Interesting take on the genre, very nice aesthetic, both in the missions, and the game menu. Also, for those of you who have them, it's free of numbers, instead having the size of the trees grow and shrink.
good but short. paid for full unlock. would be nice to have an indicator of levels completed on hard vs normal and easy etc. multiplayer would've had huge potential but sadly is not present in this otherwise great experience. definitely worth the 4 bucks I paid though and then some
I used to play this 5 years ago and it hasn't got worse.But it gets extremely hard in the 20s. Maybe make a setting (easy, medium, hard) so when it's on easy it's easier but you gain less rewards e.g. an in-game currency but on hard it's harder but you get more rewards.
Did you even play test this? Not with computers, real people, because looking at level 13 makes it seem close to impossible and playing it confirms it as impossible. The opponent ai is far too intelligent for humans to overtake its initial advantage; in other words, I'd need a TASbot with similar level of understanding of weaknesses and ideal moves to win the level. And you have 50 levels, what even... I haven't even hit an ad yet, too, so this is the weirdest playing experience I have ever had.
good game. but my roots were not able to travel through every portal. in the end i would reach stalemates with the AI because i could not make use of the portals. roots tried to go the long way which doesnt make sense
Great game, but really deceiving we have to watch an ad to play further. An ad like every 3 levels would be less bad I think

Had this game a while & stuck so many times, but finally, BEAT THE GAME! Kept it (cuz I liked) a lot, I just wish there was more.
I like the game but I can't play all the levels. When it gives the option to watch the ad to continue, the ad doesn't load, so I can't move on.
Don't like that you gotta pay for half the levels or watch an ad for each individual level then have to watch another in order to replay said level otherwise I really like the art style
This game desperately needs a pause ability as well as the ability to restart the level without having to shut down the game and restart it.
It's ok. At the very least, there needs to be some UI for "restart this level" and "go back to start screen".
it's ok but I think you should make it were you can upgrade the roots so it can be more power ful and you can jeep upgrading the roots and then if you do that it will be an awesome game 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Quite a few games like this and, although pretty, it's too difficult to tell how much power any planet has.
So far good hope they add powerups and the option to keep the speed at the same spot you choose
Its fun. A little frustrating but fun. Unfortunately the ad won't load so I can't continue the game
A simple and strategic game, Roots is a fun little game for passing time.
Only let's you get to lvl 25 and then you either have to pay or watch ads to play the rest, waste of time.
Game is ok until you have to use the black holes....they only work for the opponent. Game is junk after lvl 30
I bought the pack for the other levels even completed level 26 then it demanded I buy it again please fix

So I started playing trying to complete all levels and then I get hit with premium levels, I got his game for fun not to give money
That's good in all but the black holes get rid of them it cost me so much trouble I'm stuck on one level the black holes are pretty much just broke don't make the game a lot easier if the black holes didn't existAnd also the fact that some levels are pretty much broken like you can even pass them you need IQ Beyond normal human IQ like what is this think I'm a banker jigger or what but this game I suggest don't download it unless you have a very high intelligence I mean intelligent Beyond like 1
This game is amazing! Been looking for a game like this for a long time. It's relaxing and not too difficult
Usually such "expand to nodes, battle on nodes" games have quick individual battle resolution - ship flew in, action happens, some die, one side wins. Here it feels too slow, or at least there isn't any good indicator of how fast/how long will one tree eat the other. So it feels extremely boring :( Also OST is too slow, which adds even more onto frustration
