Bought both R-Type 1&2 to support this dev. Excellent, first class, well worth it. Would like to see more like this (1944 or 1945 please!) with just the original game, no ads, and none of the crazy in app purchases.
I've tried 3 times to download this game, which , btw, is one off my all time favorites, and every time I try it is unable to open files, The first two times it was easy to get a refund The third time I have not been able to get a refund or any kind of response
Great game , works on my note 20 ultra. I have no problem with the controls , got used to them pretty quick. Used to always play shooters like these back in the day. PLEASE update the first R Type as I have bought it and would like to complete that one. Thanks.
Hats off to the devs once again an amazing port gamplay is so good this is an arcade classic and a must have for any retro-gamer.
Unplayable. Controls cover 80% of the screen. You are literally trying to look through the controls to see the game. Sad I was excited to play. Refunded.
faithful conversion from the arcade original to the tablet and mobile phone, would rather be using a joystick than the touch screen though.
Complete broken, game won't load because it is "unable to open files". Shane, because it was a good port of a great game when it worked.
Used to love playing this game. Upgraded my device and now unable to play. Please fix! UPDATE: Seems to be fixed so upgraded to 3 star. Time to play 🙂
Unpacking files fails even though permission for file access was granted. Requesting refund. Very sad. If you will not update and fix, please remove from android play store.
What happened to the old version? This one you've put made the game unplayable. I can't play the other levels unless I start to level 1. I get the game ahoupd be like the exact version like arcades but come on that last version is wayyy better than this.
Great little time waster. Reminds me of the old tabletop video games we used to play at the local arcade. Hands up if you too are an Eighties teenager.
seminal space shooter. very nice port, gutted playing it touchscreen - its still excellent but i need a controller to be good at this.
I just love the r type from when I was a kid and this one is better I can play for hours at time, Great work to the makers.
Very bad&ugly control like 1st R-type. Can't made me feel good old day. So sad to paid for it.
love it but think it would be better if I could Bluetooth link an xbox controller instead of getting finger rub playing it.
Does not work on Android 11 any more. It says "Unpacking files failed". Please fix this...
anyone of a certain age will love it and hate it. a real blast from the past for less than you used to pay in an afternoon bunking off school.

Won't unpack files, I installed this game on my new phone Oneplus 8 pro and now I can't run it.

One of my favourite side-scroll shoot-em-ups of all time. Looks exactly how I remember it from the arcade and my Amiga 500. Maybe I'm getting old, but I don't remember it being this hard. It might be down to having a joystick for the other versions so your thumbs didn't get in the way of bad guys behind you 😁 If there was a choice of difficulties, I get the feeling this would be set at hard! Please let us have an easier mode to practice with.
