Great idea, contactless payment and combining with digital passes, but start-up of the application is so slow (on Samsung S22 Ultra) that it has no real benefit over using my passes. I appreciate the quick responses to my feedback, but the app is unreliable (works less than half the time for payments) and is slow to start up when using for cards. Uninstalled, has no added value for me.

For one of the best banks in NL, this app is pretty pathetic. Installation is onerous. Once installed the app will work for about a week in a leisurely way. Then it dies and becomes unusable. No explanation, but it refuses to complete anymore transactions. Uninstall and then re-install the app works for another week, and then it dies again. Can't an outstanding bank provide an excellent payment app? Apparently not, at least not yet. So far this app verges on useless and frustrating.

Setting up a new account is a horrifying experience. I got a new card, I tried adding it but it simply keeps showing me errors. I was able to add the card, but after that it logged me out instantly and now it just gives me Error (999). Can't even use the app now since it does not work.

This app is always freezing up. Everything is unresponsive. Am I really paying a monthly fee for this? Reply: Yes, payments not requiring pin input worked OK. However, when the pin is needed, the app will freeze and won't respond to any input. My device is the Samsung S10... No other issues with any other apps. I'm guessing your software needs to be updated. Reply: Yes, I have the latest version of the app. Reply: Yes, I have reinstalled many times. Cleared the data and cache with no success.

Registration is a nightmare. it crashed several times during registration. At the end it did not ask me to set up mPIN (which is very strange). I had to look in the setting to update the mPIN. Adding new account is another struggle. I managed to add the account but do not see it in the settings. I also cannot chose a default account. Is it according to the design or is it a bug?

The app works to pay relatively consistently. However there is one big issue, in that the app takes quite a while to load on startup which makes it less convenient, as you just have to stand there holding up the queue while you wait for the app to fire up. There is a bunch of "extra stuff" in the main screen that is not about paying and I wonder if its a good idea for the app to have to load all of that stuff when its not essential for the app to actually do its job.

Works perfectly fine and keeps up to promise. I haven't encountered any major problems. However, my most important feedback to get the application to its highest potential pertains to battery usage. Presuming it's open in the background for long hours, it's also fair to say it consumes a lot of power. And indeed after having some battery issues and checking, it turns out that on some days (even without any use) the application seems to consume most of my battery by appr. 25%. Please provide fix.

Easy to use app. Unfortunately it's going to stop end of July. Rabobank suggests Google Pay as alternative which means users will share all their financial transactions with Google --> goodbye to another part of our privacy!

Every time you want to use it, they just did an update and you have to register the app again using the random-reader... and who carries that around? The app also constantly pops up notifications inviting you to try it out. You can't disable notifications, because without those you can't use the app for what it is intended.

Doesnt even work. You would expect for one the biggest banks within the Netherlands, they can made an app thats works. The app wont open anymore and therefore cannot be used. Probably need to reinstall, but the whole process was so annoying, that I probably won't. Horrible app and waste of time. Shameful. The app will just not open, so i cannot pay with it, does not matter how many times i tried.

Terrible! Its a waste of time! Have it installed for several months, tried using it several times, could never use it to pay anything, always needed to put a pin despite the phone already being unlocked, no option to replace the pin lock for finger print. Now i wanted to try it out again, and it doesn't even open, its just a blank screen! I'm even considering changing bank because of this.

Doesn't respond to touch and leaves you stuck unable to pay. Response update: There is no touch for any screen or button (it did work originally). This also includes the setup screen where you must enter your account #. So can't even sign in anymore. Update #2: No, I'm not forced to re-register. I tried to reinstall and the login screen was also stuck. All other apps work during this time. It seems rebooting the phone fixes it for awhile.

It's a nice enough app, design- and featurewise. I like having all my loyalty cards in there too. But its slowness brings it to the edge of being unusable. Why do I have to wait for 10-20 seconds to get to the main screen (often more, probably depending on internet speed?), when all I want to do is pay and be done? Or have my loyalty card scanned? It may not seem like a long time, but when there is a line of people behind me and I have to apologize to them for 'waiting for my ultracool wallet app', I usually end up paying with my card and I think that's not the intent.

Highly unreliable. Has made me stuck at checkout in a loop of scanning the NFC, entering my pin, then scanning again, then entering pin again and so on, without completing the payment. Also, in 2021 still no option for biometric authentication, which is simply ridiculous. Very disappointing app.

App doesn't work properly. The first version worked best. As the reviews from January 2020 also mentioned, starting the app takes too long, or it even freezes during loading. Often the app ask for mPin to make the payment, even for small amounts. It is like you always need to have internet connection to make the payment happen. Only turning on your phone to make the payment happen only works 1 out of 8 of times. Now I always need my bank card as backup, (Android 10) Yes, still not working

Works good, loyalty passes can be added so you don't need to lug those around, you can check where you can fill your car's tank using Wallet. Recent transactions are here too also you can check saldo, ask for payments and check for parking. QR code reader is inside too. In settings are some explanation how things work. So a lot of handy options. Easy to use too, never had errors as others describe. They probably got bad coverage of internet signal. Wifi/cases can interfere with NFC, use 4G.

We already Pay a monthly fee to the bank, which is ridiculous because collecting money from a desk is impossible so they make you pay because they close offices, which saves them money. This app would be a good alternative for the unsafe wireless payment implementation on bank cards. This approach will be the downfall for the app, just like chip knip.

Works well, just unlock phone and smash it on the pin terminal. No need to open the app. One downside: entering your pin into the app is not very 'secure' privacy-wise. Usong finger print scanner for this would be much easier and private/secure.

This app has a very bad score on availability. It does not work so often, I decided not to use anymore. Today I could not pay at a gas station, and risc the possibility of being listed on a national defaulter list. That was the last drop, I will go back to a smart card, they always work!

Quite unreliable. the app sometimes does not work, which makes an app like this useless. you need to take your card with you, just to be sure. And it cost you €0.50 per month!!! Unbelievable. And after each android update the app stopped working. Now they ask you to register the app again after the android update, but still not working!!! Reinstall!!!

Unreliable, it doesn't work most of the time. For various reasons on the terminal, last time it's 'follow instructions on your phone to continue' but there was no instruction on my phone. No error code as well. Needed to pay by card in the end

The app works really fast and the system is comprehensive. However, sometimes the payments take a long time to come through, like it only sends out a signal every 5 seconds or something.

I enjoy using this app, it lessens the need to carry around my actual bank card. The only comment I do have, is that sometimes the NFC fails to register properly. I don't know if it is because the vendor is having issues, or is it because of the communication between my mobile device and the terminal was interrupted in one way or another. | Edit 06 July 2020 | I received a request to provide more information in respect of the issues that I have encountered: 1. The vendor terminal does not accept the NFC exchange, thus I unable to pay using my phone and have to pay using my card. 2. The vendor terminal accepted the NFC exchange but the approval via the app failed. Also had to use my card to pay.

1. parking costs are practically instantly charged, while the receipt needs to wait another month 2. when requesting receipt, this can only be done by email, and follow-up is lacking 3. no option to call company (ease2pay) responsible for providing receipts in my case I required a receipt to object to a parking fee, but 3 weeks and multiple emails later, I have not received the requested receipt yet. furthermore, additional costs are added for parking, while support is completely useless.

Never successfully used this app, every time I want to use it, there's been an update and I need to re-register. For which my debit card and the scanner are needed. Why other Banks don't need a scanner device and Rabo does is beyond me anyway... Anyway app just freezes when it asks for noon when paying. On top of this I'll be paying after 6 months? I'm switching banks..
