Garbage App Needs Massive Overhaul | Like most bank apps it has a feature to deposit your check by taking a picture of the front and back. Follow the directions. Simple. Now I'm on the road, far away from any branch, receive a check, need to deposit it to cover expenses and the app fails. Says can not read account numbers. Horrible app...I can read the numbers in the photo clearly without my glasses which means only one problem...bad code. Back to the drawing board programers!
Couldn't find the tab for depositing a check - it was buried, should be right on the homepage where it's usable. Even after finally discovering where the deposit check tab was, navigating to actually deposit the check was very difficult. Put the most use tabs like deposit check, transfer balances, Etc on the homepage where they're readily accessible or at the very least put a link on the help page to directly take you there
Firs experience: Only able to set up the mobile app AFTER using a desktop, after that you may proceed -application favors apple devices- No "settings" option on droid, only on apple. No "fingerprint" sign in option on droid, only on apple. Orange + icon for mobile deposit is obscure and random. I believe this should be an option in the dropdown menue. Other than that, so far so good. Im sure they will work out kinks, and add more stuff.
Issues with it getting locked. If a password is mistyped/ wrong, it will lock after 3 times ( even with a long time difference over several days) and be disabled forcing to call to get it fixed. (which I did and now its disabled again.) Theres stars that appear and cant see anything! Wish there was another way to enable again rather than phone call. Why? Last time I called I was grilled multiple times on what my transactions were ( which I wasnt sure since it was locked for over week).
Fairly easy to use, but there are a few limitations to the app that other banks' apps don't have. I'm waiting for an app upgrade so I can see what bills I've set up for payment; that limitation has caused me to double pay a bill a few times.
this app was much easier to use before it was changed. There is no guidance in how to get to the function you need. The + sign is usually for editing, not to get options. I've only used it twice and have to spend 10 to 15 minutes each time to figure out how to get to the deposit option. Help was no help!
Overall the app is good, but they did not it set up to use facial recognition or fingerprint on the Android. Works on the iPhone. This is a huge oversight and a feature they could easily bring to Android.
Awful,just awful. By the time I get to the app I am so frustrated and angry. Feel like I have to go all around the houses just to do something simple like check my balance. When you go to download you first have to go to your main account and start some tedious drawn out process from there. This is easily the most frustrating app and bank to work with. Help isn't. Customer service is lackadaisical. Just say NO.
Strangely convenient though I would highly recommend making the button that shows you how to deposit checks a little less confusing. Just a simple '+' doesn't tell the end user a lot.
Eh, it's alright. It's missing many of the features other banks provide in an app now (like fingerprint authentication). it's also missing some serious polish, weird bugs, glitches, and jumps to the mobile site break the user experience
probably one of the worst mobile banking apps I've ever used. it constantly logs me out my password doesn't work and there's no way of resetting it have to call customer service often can't see all transactions and deposits... yeah pretty bad
Rabobank is a great stress free bank. The best bank I've ever banked at. The app is easy to use runs great on my phone. I love being able to deposit checks right from my phone I've never had a problem with anything in the app. Works wonderful. Thanks Rabobank.
So far so good. I like the ease of it's operation. Pretty intuitive. I would like it better if it allowed me top use biometrics to log in, as opposed to putting in my password every time.
Once I learned how to use it, it was fine, but the screens for making a deposit aren't intuitive. There is an unidentified red circle with a white cross that you need to press to get to the deposits, but who knew? Also, when you take a picture of your check, there is a click and the button turns green, but no image appears. Turns out that you have to press the button a second time in order to register the image. I went to my local Rabobank office for help, and even they couldn't help me.
Very glitchy, i often have to restart the phone to login. It says error and even if you log out, it still brungs uo the screen and requires restarting thr ap and or the phone. Awefull
Passwords make me want to absolutely scream!!! I HATE passwords!!! I understand the importance of it, but my stars they're frustrating and costly when you must get in & do business, but can't get past the password!!!
Mechanics bank is not on experien and other credit mapping systems. It's very frustrating to boost your scores when your bank is not on thier list.
Nearly impossible to figure out how to simply deposit a check (turns out it's the mysterious orange + at the bottom of the screen).
Deposited a check using mobile app, yet did not reflect on account. Spoke to representative and stated the check deposited into the account will not be available until 24-72 hours from the moment check is deposited through mobile app. Makes no sense. Will close bank account.
I love that I can check my balance and transactions from this app. only problem is it sometimes freezes up and I have to reinstall it.
Your deposit mobile check info in the help menu is not accurate. It took forever to realize you have to click on the plus symbol in the circle in the bottom of the screen to deposit a check.
They should really consider working on this app this is the 100th time I have to download it, for some reason it stops working and freezes my phone. I'm so annoyed by this LAME app.
This app never shows you your true available balance. You better off doing the math with each transaction you have a record of doing.
Works great, when and if it works at all. Most often unavailable, it's about useless.
I like it. Freezes at times but I think it was as much my burner phones fault as the app, I will see if it does with my new note9
Not intuitive functions. Who would ever think of hitting a plus sign to make a transfer.
Very easy to navigate, logically laid out and comprehensive.
Needs Zelle, also I set up a bill to be paid and it didnt record it at all, so I thought I messed up and paid it through the billing website. 8 days later it posted to my account and made me go negative. It needs something that gives you a list of bills getting ready to leave/be paid from the account so that you know it is set up and can make sure you dont over draw your account. I like the actual bank, but the app doesn't even have a fingerprint option.
