1/01/2022 - Seriously guys, three years of updates and the app has to be totally reinstalled and reactivated everytime the app updates. This is frustrating and shouldn't be required. 2020 Edit - Customer service team very helpful. The app is straight forward to use and has a nice clean appearance. It still needs work to bring it in-line with other banking competitors and add more functional features.

Update: TWO YEARS later and you still can't fix something as basic as the difference between 'your' and 'you're'. Let alone fix updates so they don't force the user to have to uninstall/reinstall. Two whole years.

Not sure what the aim is of creating an app to make things difficult for the user? Perhaps it is to annoy customers? I'm constantly asked to reset my registration ... I have to go through the whole process of using the Digipass to prove myself, then set a login code. If I log out and log back in on the same day, it works fine. Wait a day and I have to repeat the process. Would be nice if Rabobank could try making an effort to sort out the glitches.

This app is not well designed. It does not close when you log out. Also it does not show the current balance after each transaction. It was supposed to be improved when recently updated, but does not appear to be any different. I am told one year ago that the new app intended to add balance after each transaction, but the new app does not have this feature. The reply below was not useful as the phone number just goes to the bank general info line. Logout does not close the app properly.

This app is so much worse than the old rabodirect one. It is so slow, it takes ages to respond to any command and sometimes I cannot even log it at all and have to reinstall the app. It is so frustrating, a massive fail and I am seriously considering changing banks over it. Being able to access a convenient, usable app is a basic customer expectation these days.

Clearly an iPhone app that has been crudely ported to Android. None of the Android conventions are respected. The back button does not work at all, instead you get a duplicate back button in the top left of the screen. You can't exit the app once finished; you have to force it closed with task manager. There is no biometric security.

Uninstalled old app and easily installed this new app. Quickly used Digipass (after changing flat battery) to log in. Navigated through app and found everything good as in replaced app. I can't understand why there would be any negative comments. Log out was easy. Used Samsung S7 . As in common with some other reviewers found it difficult to access customer support, waited 20 minutes then hung up. This would be a problem if having trouble with app or anything else.

A definite backwards step from a usability point of view. Notice Saver balance is unclear (no split between pending transaction amount and non-pending until you try to do a transaction), pending transactions cannot be seen from the accounts screen like previous app did (can see them from the transfer money tab but the layout is horrible with too much detail and too much blank space, should be a summary with drilldown to details and cancellation option), and screen refresh speed is terrible.

As others have said, the app does not connect saying there is a problem with my internet connection but there's no issue with my connection. I have downloaded the latest version today (19th April) and it didn't fix the issue. Calling your 1800 number just immediately disconnects so not even possible to call you for support. It used to work perfectly but it has been broken since the last 2 updates. Updates :20 April. I uninstalled and reinstalled (using digipass) and it's now working again.

A Very Unsatisfactory App. Every time there is an upgrade, users have to set up the login again using the digipass etc. Other banks apps that I use are seamless updates requiring none of this time wasting exercise on upgrades. This app doesn't support fingerprint recognition either which is also a bit 'ancient' in the digital age. Lastly, why is it necessary to have a separate box for the cents when doing online transactions? No other financial institution has such a clumsy error prone system.

You have to be kidding me! Just spent forever searching for my digipass to log back into an app that the resent update made me uninstall and reinstall only to have the same error message come up. No I don't want to call you, I want you to make a reliable app for once. Your IT person needs to be fired. All my other banking apps work great, never an issue with them. Rabo just being consistent with these buggy apps.

Ok, I thought I'd forgive Rabobank for this simplistic and vintage app. After all, it's only for a savings account so I'm not too fussed about look and functionalities. I can live with the fact that it looks like an app from 2005, that it doesn't take fingerprints and that it requires a digipass. But I have to reset my registration every single time I try and use it. Every. Single. Time. Highly frustrating. Definitely not enticing to try any other Rabo products I'm afraid...

The app works and so far has good user design in terms of the interface. Which is the only reason im giving this a 4 star rating. However i have to agree with all the other reviews suggesting a terrible cutover to the new service that was mismanaged and misleading to customers. The old app still suggests it is undergoing "maintenance." not great. Hopefully this app will continue to work to redeem the average customer experience.

What's wrong with this app? Since the last update, it can't connect anymore!? Why don't the developers roll back to the last working version while they work on a fix?? Edit: I fixed mine. After I read on the web it's a problem with the security certificate being expired. Just clear the cache and data for this app and set it up again with your security dongle. To the dev team at Rabo: Test, Test, Test!

Can't even login because it's such a terrible and buggy UI. Keeps saying can't connect even with strong connection on the device. Really need to fix your app if you're without branches that wd can visit. This is not the first and won't be the last bug Just find some open source code and adjust to your requirements if your development team can't even iron out bugs in a reasonable time frame

Possibly one of the most basic banking apps on the market. Loses stars due to the need to wait for days for a dated digipass to arrive in the post to even access your account and the fact that it doesn't let you exit the app after logout unless you access the phone's app manager to kill it. UPDATE - now unable to access my account. Was told to reinstall the app and still cannot access anything. Worst banking app ever!

Not so much the App itself but the appalling changeover to it and from a perfectly decent app to one with less features and all because of a branding change... truly awful change management and lack of customer focus. Like others who have reviewed here I was overseas and after 2 weeks of waiting based on a completely misleading message on the old app, I called Rabo on my return to Australia. Honestly you could not have done a worse job if you tried! Incorrect info on old app New App isn't an improvement, in fact goes backwards in some respects. The old addage - if it ain't broke don't fix it applies here. 2 stars is being generous because at least I managed to log in and see my account again!

While this app is certainly better than the website, it is still far below the standard of functionality I expect from a bank. Have to reinstall due to a failed update release which has caused a connection error to appear every time I open the app. However I can't reinstall because I don't have my digipass with me. Ridiculous!

Was working....now keeps saying connection issue. Rabo really needs to prioritise the work on its apps. For an online only provider these apps represent how people do their banking and check their savings. The previous app was decommissioned in an appalling manner without clear communication. The new app appeared and worked briefly but now has issues. Please communicate with your customers around these issues and changes, and when not working make sure the app redirects us so we can still bank.

Useless. Updated itself and now won't work. This bank has an uncanny knack of producing the worst app experience. What does that say about the company? -- Also, I don't want to call the call centre for help and assistance. Too much of a time waste. We have apps in the first place to make things easier

At Jul 2020 Working well at the moment but history suggests future performance may be erratic. Updates are unreliable. At 28 Nov 2020 receiving error message when attempting to logon. Suggested remedy to uninstall and the re-install app, setting a new PIN. This is tedious and just not good enough. Too many frequent problems after updates

Just terrible. Still can't access internet banking. I don't need to check my account often but when I do, you're app is consistently letting me down, and looks like many other customers too.. Very disappointing. May need to start looking at our options for backing.

Rabo, what are you doing? Your app used to work (but with the major limitation that you couldn't access multiple accounts held in separate entities) but now it keeps telling me that I haven't got an internet connection. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and it worked for a day or two. Now it has stopped again. It's really tarn shing your reputation!
