This app. used to be fantastic. All the traffic hotspots used to be accurate. It was so easy to use. Then all of a sudden things stopped working properly. After a while just stopped even using it as it was pointless. Uninstalled it and about to install the new app. but after reading the reviews couldn't believe how a company could produce such an awful app. The developers obviously need to be older than 5 years old. Disgraceful.
A stinker First it says download from Google Store then when installed repeat message so Google Store must either be loading incorrect version or probably RAC App a waste of time. Before updating App App doesn't like my Rac email address x password says I don't have membership despite DD being taken A waste of time. Going to end DD join AA!!
Why would you lock us out of our data? What if my reminders stored were the only references I have for when things expire. Not allowing us the option to even just view our data surely goes against all EU and UK laws on data. How do I export everything if I can't even get in?
Sneaky : Asks you you add your membership number, phone number and email address, then in the small print says you are signing up to marketing from financial services by doing it. Uninstalled and back to the A.A next year. I don't like being tricked.
absolutely garbage ! lets you install it, try to open it and it says it being replaced. gives you the option to download the new version then tells you youare in the wrong country. cmon rac you might be cheaper thanthe a.a and now i know why !!
I cant understand how a company like the RAC would put out such a poor app . Its so bad as to be unuseable . If you search online you can find the older version which works really well . Update 07/06/19 now the old version no longer works thanks RAC ! .
App's opening screen tells me that the Android version is being replaced and to download the new version from Google Play.... no sign of any new app! Just loops back to existing version. (Galaxy S8)
This app is average at best. Tried to update to the new app but that tells me it is not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet, which is brand new and has the latest android operating system. The RAC app is going from bad to worse!
Good job I checked my app before I have a breakdown as the old one doesn't work anymore and the new one isn't available in my area. Made a note of my membership number and the phone number elsewhere.
Used to be ok but now as useful as a chocolate fireguard. I'm in traffic and it doesn't show incidents or traffic. Just use Google.
Installed and then promptly uninstalled. There is NO WAY that I am giving my details to this app/company to share wherever they feel like it with no opt out. Unacceptable.
Good app when you can actually get logged in 90% of the time it says my membership number is wrong & after countless attempts it then accepts my number & lets me login.
After downloading the app, first start and it said DOWNLOAD THE NEW APP. Clicked on download and it said NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR REGION (UK). Completely useless app.
Refuses to open. Message asking to update then nothing, even after complete reinstall. Absolutely pants.

Stopped working - tells me to update to new version but that isn't compatible with my Samsung Tab S2 - guess it's goodbye RAC
Won't allow me to redeem a voucher, keeps telling me 'security error, check my browser for cookies etc. Not amused !!!
total useless , old one worked ,new version not compatible , plus the fact i am a rac member ,, not good ,, going to cancell my membership
says to download new version then says not supported in the current region yet ? sort it out rac this is not great

it doesn't work! tells me my email is wrong after telling me my password is wrong!
Downloaded and installed the app today and all I see is a blank orange screen !

Map doesn't update or show traffic
Disappointing compared to previous RAC app for traffic. Previous one displayed easy to see coloured dots on map. This version colours roads which difficult to see when driving, and then only after enabling GPS and entering route. So only traffic on route and any incidents then in a text list which is dangerous go use when driving. Not what I expect from a motoring organisation like RAC. Have switched to AA version which whilst not as good as original RAC app, is better than this one.
