Race to Ratify

Race to Ratify drops you into 1787, where the ink is still drying on the new Constitution. Will it become the law of the land or will it fall into the dustbin of history? The fate of the young nation is in your hands! Dive deep into the heated national debate over the future of a radical new plan for American government. Travel across the 13 states to hear from a diverse and opinionated cast of characters and use what you have learned to influence others through the social media of the time... pamphlets.

Can you be a ratification #influencer?

Race to Ratify teaches the big ideas at the core of the ratification debate between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists.

I love it! This is a very interesting premise. I hope that you can continue to make games like these, where you interact in a certain period of time in American history (one suggestion I have would be the civil war, or simply just another election game but with a different mechanic or premise) But I like all of your apps, so continuing these in the first place is something that I would be glad about

It is only a good first time gaming experience. Many things make the player uneasy. The opponent gets many more turns to print his pamphlets. After selecting a person to interview, seldom you can ever get the person who has a balanced point of view to the constitution, adding strong points for you. And, the questions are not the ones which can bring more points to your side. Just fix these issues. The first 2 times I played it was hard to win 1. Anti-Federalists, won 8:5 2.Federalists, won 11:2

A great little game! Not much replayability, but the conversation system is great, and the art style and characters really reflect the woodcut style of the time.

I like this game because you are able to go into any state in right pamphlet about it and trying to get what you want and you can pick which side you are on. It was almost like when the White House but it was more back in the day version of it and you were trying to get something else just not trying to be like mayor or president you're trying to get something for your side which I picked anti-federalism.

I loved this game! I have one complaint that goes to all iCivics games. Make it longer! Though maybe they only planned for these games to be short and sweet. I have a cycle when it comes to iCivics. I download almost all the games, play them for one or two times, and delete them, and when it's been a few months, repeat.

Game freezes after about seven ratifications. Otherwise, it's a pretty good game.

Fun way to learn politics and the history of our nation and how it's not perfect but with each passing generation we can strive for a better one that help everyone.

This is an amazing game with great art style, however, there should be more that happens when the constitiution is rejected.

A sensational opportunity to learn the past. Would like ICIVICS developing an imperialist game of taking control of 'created countries' and their resources to build one's own country!

When I play as the Federalist, the anti-federalist won. But when I played as the Anti-federalist, the federalist won. There should be an update on the balance.

Ok but too simple and it forces you to pick the historical side you can't change history and stop the constitution from being written
