Will you be developing a simplified version for smart watches, just for R/S/E/off switching, leave fine tuning on the phone? This would be perfect.

Wish you would add in other engine performance options that you can view. Most other apps allow you to see boost pressure, torque etc.

App does not like dark mode on your phone, when it's set to that the fine tuning selections don't work. It's also hit and miss with pairing it initially, which is hard to diagnose. I would like to see the feature for this to work with Android Auto so that we can access it without touching your phone (illegal in some places). Also, what each tune is doing e.g. a dyno map would help to work out what changes are really making.

The chip isn't worth the money, compared to a remap of the engine, which also is less likely to put stress on the engine/turbo as it is only actually connected at the head block and the TPS so there isn't "much" being changed to notice. I have changed my driving style and MPG went up. I sent mine back and got a full refund via eBay - it didnt perform as discribed, just doesn't deliver. App when connected was a brilliant interface and responsive quick change of mode.

Works as described. Not a lot of functionality and I would say that "fine tuning" is probably an exaggeration of the function ( it just lets you pick the level of time applied to each of three settings). But the product definitely works. Noticable difference between on and off!

installed the chip on to the engine, tried to connect to bluetooth failed multiple times until decided to check chip itself, the reason for not connecting was the serial on the manual and the serial on the chip were not matching, after trying a serial from the chip i got connected. app is straight forward, lacks info in "Fine Tune" section still hunting the differences in numbers, at the moment race is on 4 sport is on 3 and eco is on 2. fast connection after first pair.

Totally recommend this gts black chip to any Audi c7 owner worth it you really to feel the power right away I've hand it for over 6 months and it's been great

Does exactly what they say! Any problems, you MUST contact support. They can send updates via the app to fix your exact problem. Tested on 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo. I fine tuned the settings from 0 (off) to 7 (Balls out Race... set your car to Sport+). I'm happy with this "piggyback" system. Seriously plug and play. No separate electrical connections. Two plugs. Well done RaceChip!

I had previously installed the Racechip+ app on my phone, about a year ago. I haven't had any issues opening the app however as of recent I cannot open the app. I click on the app and it immediately closes a second later, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still having the same problem. Tried downloading previous version which opens but when entering my serial number, it notes that the app is not supported with version of chip, it recommends downloading the race chip+ app?

serial number on manual not correct/ does not match. for correct serial # have to input the one pasted on the main connector. also the bluetooth pin depends on the last six digits of serial # pasted on the main connector. download updates crashes often. racechip itself is useful though. no turbo lag and even economical even on race mode on my hyundai tucson crdi.

Well I have had this a lil under a year the app is garbage $50 bucks i wish I never spent , with that being said the Bluetooth never connects after a few weeks ,have to uninstall reinstall etc ,emailed CS and they tell to uninstall the chip seral number ,but what's the point if u have to do it every few weeks please update the software or something !!!!!

The app had some issues, after contacting support they were able to rectify the issue asap. The app does what it say says it does. The benifit of changing maps on the whim is a huge plus. Thanks for your support Racechip.

The app is good I have the RS + Being able to select the different driving modes is good. Eco mode works perfect if I drive decently sport or race mode is amazing. Only issue I have is it does take to long to load it would also be awesome if the app would start up automatically when turning the key.

Only works in the ECO mode for my install. Have contacted customer svc 3 times this week but have not heard back. I have uninstalled programmer and this app. 2 times trying to resolve but no luck. If I had to do over again, I would not waste the money on this app. Race controller is adjustable by buttons on front display of programmer.

Second review. The tuning is great. The car pulls strong no issues there. I just can't get the app to work with my s10 plus. I keep getting an error msg that the 'serial number is not registered to any car'

After the update it works better but it's still glitchy. Half the time I have to turn off my Bluetooth or restart my phone to get this app to work. Even right now I drove 15 miles of work trying over and over to get this thing to work. App is extremely temperamental

Seems really pointless when it doesn't even connect anymore after a week and when it did work it took forever to load and seems like a waste of 50$ to gain access to a service that's almost useless.

App works as intended. Connects fast and easy to use. Just wish I could easily switch between all the modes with my XLR, annoying to just have 3 presets to use. Also wish they cleaned it up by removing clutter such as the demo.

the app doesnt work with older gts black modules and makes you use the older "Racechip" app, but the last Racechip app update completely screwed up everything and now when it sesrches for bluetooth connection of my racechip the app ceashes! all the time!!

Not only a gimmick! I like playing with the drive modes, but I recently had a chat with customer support and they updated my chip through the app and now I can feel even more power. This is awesome!

I would not spend $500+ for this product after useing it. I have had everything set up properly and then the device stopped working and now after I have reset everything and uninstalled and installed the information correctly it still does not work. When looking on the website for support it gives you a phone number that is unreachable during normal hours in the US on the West Coast.

Cant believe they charge extra to use this.... it's useless, spend a good half hour trying to first connect, works for 5 minutes and most of that is loading every time you press anything... then if you connect to anything else you have to pull over and start all over again

Doesn't connect at all with my Samsubg Galaxy S9+. I've followed all the directions at least 5 times, the racechip is on and working as I can adjust it manually. What the point of the app if I never connect.

Fantastic performance increases are possible with the RaceChip*. Adjusts rail pressure sensors to move the torque range lower down. Dyno testing on a rolling road in a few weeks, which will cost £100. I have the RS version with the mobile app purchased as an extra for £249 in total. Six separate tuning levels, to allow for economy or performance. Quoted performance increases of 34hp and 79nm torque. Will update when I have the Dyno results... *Deactivated to allow for the bad weather conditions.

I have the RS race chip and the app seems to be working well. It would be amazing if an Android auto app could be created, that way I could change driving modes from my in car infotainment system.

I reset my phone now im having problems with the app corresponding with the chip. I can no longer switch the modes from sport, nor the race modes, nor the eco modes. Do you anyone have suggestions on how to correct this problem? Thanks in advance

Great app. Much better than getting under the hood when needed. Would love to be able to switch modes on the fly like a throttle response controller. Still love it though

Well after first installing it to my WRX STi i wasnt overly impressed, but after contacting Racechip Support " Rafal was more then happy to give me a few suggestions, then after trying them i went an got it put on the Dyno , jus to see what the difference actually was , it definitely showed there was a increase in Torque an horsepower, an After showing Rafal he got back to me with a new Tune an Setup an let me tell u WoW what difference, there was a huge Gain in power through the gears,
