RAD Radio Show

Plainly this app sucks. I have to watch an ad every time before I can hit the play button? not every time at startup know everytime it pauses on me, which is about six times the show It pauses frequently while I'm trying to listen. Of course it tends to pause or stop playing right in the middle of really fun segments. This app has taken away much of the joy of listening to the show. Scrap it and start over.

This app is so frustrating!! I am a loyal maggot, I listen to half of the show on my way home every morning and the other half on the way to work at night. It takes at least three tries, often more, as well as having to turn my phone on and off to get the app to work. It will either buffer forever or just turn itself off. I love the show, this app not so much.

Love the show, the app, not so much. I didn't have any problems with it for a long time. However, over the last 6 months or so the updates have made the app progressively worse. I have submitted my information and bug reports but so far no luck. It is really frustrating when you are listening to the show and a call comes in (ya know cuz it's your phone) and after you finish your call the app completely loses were you were in the audio file...

Despite the bad reviews I installed the app and it works with no issue for the Samsung 8+. I'm giving this app a 3 only cause it works. I'm a fairly new listener and like the show but the radio signal is weak in my area. The app is just for the show, not music unless you like to hear elevator music during a commercial break. Unfortunately I'll be uninstalling cause I want to hear more music.

Great idea, terrible execution and very buggy. They need to give this app a complete overhaul. Start from scratch and hire the right software designer. I appreciate the accessibility and love listening to the recorded shows, but half the time, the app crashes, does not load any content and does not remember where I left off.

The app seems a little more stable, but the constant "injection" of ads needs to be fixed. Every time i jump out of the app and jump back in, the ad has to insert itself. When that happens, the on demand stream stops, and the live stream begins to play. The ad should not override what I'm listening to and force the live stream to start. You should be able to leave the app and come back without interruption of the stream. It's not the settings in my phone because this issue is more recent.

Love love love the show, but the app will cut out often. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, gotten a new phone. The app continues to turn off while I'm listening. And then when I access the audio files, it will attempt to "load" for hours. The app will also just turn on randomly when I hadn't opened the app at all yet that day.

Not sure if it's my service provider or what is the source of the issue (I have a brand new galaxyA10 fyi), but the majority of the time listening and regardless of my location I constantly have interruptions which cause the buffering effect lasting 1-2 minutes even with occasional crashing or prompting me to close the app and restart. Love the show and have been a loyal maggot since 2001ish and hope to resolve the issue soon. 5 ☆ for the show sadly 4☆ for the app. Will revise to 5 if resolved.

like my friend Tony the Tiger would say, "GRRREAT!" With a few problems.. I'm on samsung note 10. The app will sometimes play the show in the back ground well I'm listening and is sounds like an echo.. sometimes when I pause and press play. It will go to a previous show. Still gonna keep listening.

I understand having ads, but they shouldn't interfere with the operation of the app. Also, the tab-sideways scroll is way too sensitive. Now it would be nice if it had landscape mode for tablets, and be more responsive in Android Auto.

The app is very user friendly, and pretty reliable. The only issue I ever have is that it frequently drops, saying the stream is down. It has this problem far less than previous versions of the app, but still much more frequently than other streaming apps I use.

Awesome!! The app doesn't reset the episode when I disconnect from my car's Bluetooth (like the browser does). I love that you can ❤ individual segments & episodes. The problem I had with the app continuing to play after a headset or source was disconnected was fixed!! Thank you guys!!

The commercial break music kinda sucks and is a bit off putting to listen to. It also seems like they play longer than the commercial time plays on the radio station. But all in all it is fully functional and great since I work out of 98 rocks broadcasting range. Thanks Rob and Brandon for the hard work.. thanks Dawn for having input and being there...lol

I love this show, I really enjoy listening to the RAD group every morning. I'm just having a small issue with the app, which is since it updated on the 17th, it now opens automatically without me doing anything. Like for the past couple days when I've been waking up, the app has already been opened in my notifications. Can we get this fixed? 5 star rating when it is!!!

The app is not good. Has an higher drain on my battery than it should and freezes for no reason. I swear it just messes with me because it will freeze and I go to try to refresh it but once I touch my phone, boom, it's playing again. I hope they fix the app someday.

I would love to give the app 5 stars because I'm a loyal maggot and the app has most of the bells and whistles you would want from a streaming app but the fact I get dropped multiple times a replay, usually due to the app wanting me to watch an ad, is pretty ridiculous. I understand needing to advertise but kicking me out out of a session and around 50% of the time the entire app shutting down is beyond what I'm sure you were going for. At least I hope. But I love my 24 hour access to RAD.

This app is AWESOME! I have no issues with the apps functionality. It works great and easy to navigate. I also like that it shows the activity on its various social media accounts on the home page. A definite must-have for the maggot army.

For all the fellow maggots, this is a great app. For all of your instant RAD listening needs, both videos and audio. They have all the latest audio files from the show and archives from previous shows, and videos at certain segments of the show.

RAD radio makes my mornings better! I was stoked to find out they had an app because I no longer have to sit in my parked car to listen I can take their show with me wherever I go. I love that they have the articles they discuss on the show on their app as well as video clips. it's fun seeing them rather than just hearing them! Thank you RAD radio!

great show but the app is garbage. it only works for a few weeks then begins to lag and skip and refuses to be played in the background or with the phone on sleep mode. this is the 10th time ive had to uninstall and reinstall just to fix it.

Same with everyone else, love the show hate the app. Loses track of where you were in a segment, app cuts out randomly and replays segments, app also starts up randomly while doing other things and randomly starts playing.

awesome! love that I get to listen to show again! I always would miss it after getting to work...nice to have something funny and interesting to listen to instead of just music all day at a desk!

I love the show, the app not so much. Like other reviewers have said, it cuts out at random times and it's annoying having to go back and press play and missing what they said in the middle of a topic they're covering

Odd music in between where commercials should be. Connection is hit or miss. Replays same clips back to back. Love the show but need a better app.

Ever since I started listening to RAD I always felt I was missing out because I wasn't able to listen to the entire show, now I can enjoy them constantly, anywhere, anytime. They are all amazing and I am proud to be a maggot, thank you RAD for developing this app! Mar-

I absolutely love the show and have been listing to them for almost 20 years. This app is awesome and easy to use. I am very thankful for this app. Now I never miss an episode. RAD TV is awesome.

was good until latest update which keeps having adds every 5 Mins. It used to not do that. I am starting to think is so you will be forced to get subscription. I can handle every 20 or 30 mins but 5 mins common.

I like when it doesn't crash. I have an S9 plus and just doesn't work. Yet it seems to work on my sister's phone and she has an S9 plus too. I just don't get it. Help.

Best people on the air by far. Been listening to then for 15 years and wont stop even when they retire or go away I'll just listen to old shows. Keep up the good work RAD Radio and thanks for all the help and entertainment.

its better then the old app but would be nice if you paused the live show that it would stay paused until you hit play again...it pauses the after over 5 min it will continue the show at its latest live part
