Radar Beep - Radar Detector
It uses GPS and your internet connection to show you where the radars are and help you avoid fines. The basic idea is that you will know where the radars are when you drive, and can go past them at a safe speed.
Radar Beep integrates with all mobile phone GPS navigators to detect radars while navigating to your destination.You can use the app with or without a navigator.
The app also has a map of radars with your position and direction. It always focuses on the road in the right direction and shows radars around and ahead of you.
Radar Beep updates automatically, no action on your part is required.
To make it easier to turn the scanner on, you can use:
- The widget that comes with the app.
- Configure auto start with Bluetooth. The app will turn on by itself when the phone connects to the car via Bluetooth. When the car is turned off, the app turns off too.
- NFC magnetic sticker by Radar Beep which you can place in your car. The app will turn on when the phone is near the sticker (your phone has to support NFC). *

Had no idea I just had to download this app to be able to magically detect speed radar! I guess I'll just have to throw away my Uniden R7 and use this misleadingly named app! I'll probably keep it, though, considering it's an actual radar & laser detector. I'll admit the app is a lot cheaper depending on how much a speeding ticket costs.
Worst radar app ever. 15 min. Drive home from work and had to select draw over other apps 4 times. Was at a complete stop and app still read that I was going 72 MPH.
Works great except for trying to change app miles from Kilometers. Also to make sure that the beat is working while other apps are active
A3 every few hundred metres gave a warning, but nothing there. M25 even worse constant warnings for traffic light cameras and speeds of 30, 40, mostly 50, and of course the limit is 70 with No traffic lights. What a pain. Deleted..
There is a speed camera that I often drive past that this speed radar will not detect, I tried to send email to this apps administrators on their contact us. Once sent the email states their email address does not exist, which gave me a scam feeling, thus the one star.
This app is a waste of time. I have gone through all the notification settings and it still does not alert me when a cop is nearby.
I can't even open the app. Keeps saying no connection, but it doesn't matter if I'm connected to wifi or not. Frustrating
Why do people rate the app so poorly when they're the ones that just don't understand how it works and why some features may be mis-marked or not always accurate? Why do people have to be so dumb? Is there too much technology and they're just relying on that instead of using their minds for anything? Well, that would be viable but I'm afraid stupidity has been around since the inception of conversation so can't blame anything but the person or people. Common sense isn't very common anymore!
All it does is every 2mi. that there is a speed camera when there is not and also drove by several cops and nothing. i thought it was to good to be true and sure is.
It tells me where police usually sit which was right but I met 2 cops, one on the road one on the side checking speed, and it didnt go off. do not reccomend
Please give us notifications about 1/4 mile before cameras. It's notifying me of a speed camera when I'm about 100 feet away.
Great idea but no one is marking things right cameras detected every few miles where emergency turn arounds are instead of a cop using a radar smh app needs some work.
This did not work at all going past speed check radar on highway 101 California. That means it DON'T WORK!!!
great app so far.. alerts before i see a police.. even turns in automatically when turned off if radar is detected
This is a must have app. Dont over think this app. It's very easy to use. I've encluded this app since I got my first phone in 2012. Love it!

Worthless. You are better off just paying attention to the road. This app gives NO USEFUL INFORMATION.
Not sure if it's actually scanning the closest cop cars unless my settings are wrong
Never got into it. Have to accept terms posted in unknown language.
The best app till now few additional options and it will be unchallengeable app
It was working but now says no connection when you download it.
It only tells you about the mobile radar AFTER you've been tagged by one! This is garbage
It's not what I was looking for I want to if they have radar detector
Most annoying app ever. Once it turns on, it won't let me toggle to other apps and also won't let me turn it off, even after turning off Bluetooth or using the power of button on the app or on the notification bar. Only way I can turn it off is to reboot. Might do a good job, but too annoying app have uninstalled.
