I've only ever used the free version but have used it for years and it's been very reliable. At the time I lived in tornado central and ran multiple weather apps to make sure I didn't miss anything. Honestly, based on my experience I think this app has been the best fast access radar I've found. I don't have to jump through hoops to get to the information I need, I just open the app and there it is. I recently moved away from tornado central but this is still my go to for quick radar access.
- This app severely overcharges and delivers much slower service than other radar apps. - Despite pulling from NEXRAD radar, there's no volocity feed? - "Local" and "Comp" views basically seem like old school "Composite" and "Reflective" radars. - There's a 10-15 minute delay between radar updates? For a premium price? For the same price, there are apps that pull every 5 minutes. - If you want a basic, basic, basic radar app, you can do worse. But you can do better too.
I changed to RadarNow about a year ago and love it. The local station apps do not show clearly the view from RADAR and this works on demand. I use it frequently to see surrounding weather in OK & TX. I love being able to see the whole country, or zoom in to my city.
Been on radar now for years. Even upgraded! The layers are now gone! Not worth the upgrade any more. I'll be looking for something better! Come on radar now, fix the problem! I see upgrades were made, but there still isn't the red and green wind velocities!
Untarnished Accuracy. This app employs the actual radars used by the NWS. What they see, you're seeing. Upload is markedly faster than other weather apps because they do one thing: Present you with NWS radar. So if you need your weather info fast, and accurate as can be had, this is a good one to download.
Always very accurate. If any issues within the area it is resolved quickly. I rely on wind and lightning frequently due to being a boat captain keep doing what you're doing greatly appreciated.
All..this is a fabulous app. I have the paid version and before I paid I still loved it. It's maintained and kept current. The information and radar stream is spot on and it is very easy for novices and experts alike. I've chased storms for years and was a certified spotter for the NWS for over 15 years. This app is worth getting. Bill P. Still here in 2022!
I've used the app for years and loved it. Recently however the app is taking minutes to load a map. Not sure what's changed but I wish it would change back.
It's a pretty good App but should be VERY ashamed to have the following posted when you open it... "Please give RadarNow! a five star rating if you like the improvements. Only five star ratings help us. Anything less actually brings our overall rating down. If you're experiencing a problem of any kind or have a complaint, please let us know directly using this link: Contact us. It's much more effective to let us know directly than using the comments in Google Play for any difficulties. Thanks!"
I've used this Weather app for for the last 7 or 8 years. I'm a golf course superintendent and this weather app is 2nd to none. I need a radar that is precise and that's what RadarNow provides. Fertilizers and chemical applications are expensive and either need to be watered in or left on the grass plant for certain periods of time. My trust is with RadarNow!
Very straightforward and easy to use. Add to this the fact that it never once has glitched on me. I have recommended this app to family members because when heavy weather is on the way y'all ain't got time for foolishness!
Always reliable. Quick and easy check on changing weather conditions. Warnings and alerts is a great feature.
This is the perfect app, it does one thing really really well. And has over time added features without losing that one thing.
Changes undertaken over the past 6 months have been mostly on target... Keep it up guys. This is a much more stable platform now than when I first tried it.
Been using for many years. More consistent and accurate than other weather apps I've used. Excellent support!
I've been using this app for years. I'm in hurricane alley so between that and our rainy season, RadarNow is essential! Keep up the great job, RadarNow.
Always on target. Used for years. Extreme helpful on big water to watch for lightning. Use on home front for perfect forecast.
I love the accuracy! As someone who deals with migraines that are affected when storms come through, its really important for me to be able predict when storms will hit so i can be prepared. This app has been crucial in helping me plan.
Great radar app, a fav of ours for years. Love the detail it offers over the competition.
Since the last update app isn't working sticks on loading not working at all. Have the pro install so not getting money's worth.
This is my go to app for checking to see how close any storms are to my area. Always has been accurate so far.
I've used and relied on the RadarNow App for over 20 years as a newspaper carrier when delivering the newspapers. It's been a lifesaver to be able to know when exactly bad weather is approaching and going to hit my area.
Always handy even when taveling. Great to see where storms are when driving. Also use when boating. Great app!
Great app for seeing rain. I tried a few and still like this one the best. Decided to pay for it even though not necessary.
I have had this app for over a decade. Always there when I need it. As accurate as anything else weather related. Edit: I'm still using this app as my go-to.
Excellent. Have used this for 3 years and to be honest it's never failed me yet. Easy interface. Little as. What else could you want!!!
I have had this application for many years. Last week all I get is a graph in the background with little dots and some temperatures. It doesn't do radar and if it does it doesn't show any geography just static. I went in because I have a Samsung and followed the fix they suggested. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same program. I'm off to find another application. You had a great application going. But it no longer works after something that happened about ten days ago in May of 2022
