I have the $10 android app and the $30 windows app with pro tier 1 which is less than $1 a month ($10 yearly). So I've spent $50 on this app altogether. The app works well on both platforms. An industry standard should be enforced for polygon colors. It's annoying but tolerable. What's odd is how it jumps from 83 cents a month to 15 bucks just to be able to log in across platforms when many free apps let you do that. $10 just for watches is odd as well else I'd give 5 stars easily.
I've used this app for over 5 years. Use it for general weather status & some amateur storm chasing photography. Always been accurate & great, but recently encountered download errors on my Pixel 6 Pro. Tried restarting, clearing cache, checked wifi, etc. Nothing seems to work. Will keep trying, since this app has been so good for so long.
I should NOT be paying $15/a month to continuously get a "downloading error" when my father's (sitting right next to me) is working just fine. I literally get/have severe thunderstorms/tornado warnings in my area. I have been chasing storms since I was 3yo and the Weather Channel gives me better coverage than this does right now. I will attest that previously this app has worked AMAZING and still does on a iPad. DO NOT DOWNLOAD ON YOUR PHONE.
Constantly not working during severe weather. radar doesn't display on map at all. restart. force stop. wifi on or off. doesn't matter. its a nice app for sunny clear weather.
It is a great radar program, but I would recommend radar omega over the app. I feel it just have more features. It has more free features like data inspector. I only have the free version but the upgraded version is cheaper on radarscope than it is on radaromega.
I like the app, but I've read about download errors. Then I started getting the download error everytime. It turns out that the Chicago radar that is closest to me is offline until late May. Not the app developers fault. Still like the app.
I've been a paying subscriber for years, something is broken in the current version. I keep getting a "Download Error". I'm going chasing tomorrow and I CAN NOT rely on an app that's not working when I need it most!! I've NEVER had issues until the past few days.
Radarscope worked awesome for me from 2019-2020. Works fine when i don't need it and refuses to load scans or update during bad storms. Every other radar app I have continues to work and update. Not sure if there is a server overload from too many users online at once. Haven't been able to use it for any severe storm since summer of 2020.
Great app. I have access to NWS, Mesonet, and OKFirst software. When mobile, and sometimes even when in front of my wall of computers, I often go to this for quick views of things. It's incredibly accurate and I can walk between rooms and continue watching whatever I'm watching.
Use to be a great app. Has always.been a.paid for app, which I was fine with. Problem is over the years they have.slowly removed function that were originally in the paid for app, into subscriptions. Bait and switch. Now it has only a small fraction of the usefulness as when I bought it.
Best radar view available. In case you do not know, this is what the professionals look at. There is no temps or forecast, just high definition next level radar.
Back when it worked it was one of the best Radar apps out there. I haven't been able to download or view radar info for nearly 2 months. The app opens and you see the map, but no info. Save your money
For those having issues. I wasn't updating maps either. Kept erroring out. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Took about 3 minutes. Works fine now.
Not loading radar data when I am in severe weather. I have moved on to a new and more reliable app.
Good until last update I've used this app for wire a while and it always performed well. Now I get a"download error" and it won't show radar.
Love this app, but I'll wait for another update as this one seems to be problematic based on comments here. I think it would be wonderful if they had a button you could click that would show you mph rather than kts for wind speed. Seriously, I've never heard any weather report refer to knots, so what's the deal? How relevant to this app and immediate accuracy is the term "knots?"
I've had it for about a week and it goes down when I need it most. It works great when it IS working, but once there's a lot of activity, the radar data doesn't load.
The accuracy of the radar has no peer. Other services show a large blob of precipitation over a large area. With RadarScope I see that actually there is only a small area of precipitation within that large area.
A great app when it works. It is a very busy weather night in Texas and the app won't load. Luckily I have access to other radars. This is precisely why I don't pay for an upgraded tier.
Great app the only problem I'm having is my beacon disappearing from time to time can you please fix this error also can a two day forecast be added to the app as well
As a licensed SkyWarn in Kansas, this is one of the best radar apps out there. I've been using it for years and the price is worth every penny.
I used to have lightning bolts on my radar and I don't anymore. I have turned that option off and on, I've tried changing from AllisonHouse to Radarscope and back again. What happened to the lightning data? Especially right now since Chicagoland is getting hammered by fantastic lightning producers. Yes, I can watch out my window but it was very helpful to have the lightning reports in each storm.
