So I tested this. I have a few electronics in my room, including a VR camera. It was on, and I pointed this app at it. Good news: I could see my boom mic was on. Bad news: I saw it because the power light was on. The power light I can see. With my eyes. Thats what appeared in the app. The other EM feature works like any other on the app store.
Sorry, but this application different seem to work at all. radiation detection was inconsistent to say the least.. and the IR camera was just a black and white filter with a slight blueish tingev that was essentially indistinguishable from my normal camera's greyscale/black & white mode... and o yaa... LOTS of advertisements. like, i understand the urge and necessity to monetize, but omg.. chill out a bit; having an ad after every selection, basically renders the app unusable from my perspective
First, digital cameras can see IR. Turn your phone camera on and point your tv remote at it. Press random buttons, presto you are seeing IR. The apps ability to detect magnetic fields is definitely stretching the term "radiation dectector.". It will not dectect what most people think about when they "radiation.". Like my uranium glass, it absolutely will not detect that. Heck calling the app and EMF detector is even a stretch. Should be called "magnetic field detector with camera thing"
App works, but...as for the IR, just use your regular camera app which can see the IR light anyway! this app only puts a green filter on your screen to make it somewhat easier on your eyes since it kinda blends out physical objects. As for the emf radiation, that works too. But do I need an app to find out i.e. that my oven creates an higher electromagnetic field than my LED lights? If u try to find EMF behind walls (and close to it) maybe. And this app is full of ads. Ads ads and more ads.
it's fun, the IR detection is probably the most useful thing, and there's a "radiation detector" but it's not clear what kind of radiation it can detect. Alpha particles, beta rays, gamma rays, the app doesn't say anything about those.
The whole radioactive measurement part of the app is just a magnetic level detector it reminders magnetic level how's the earths magnetic levels in your area and even when it says hi radiation that's normal for the amount 60 is about normal 30 to 60 is normal the unit that uses micro Tesla which doesn't measure the radiation in the first place I even held it up to a smoke alarm and it went down
Ads, ads and more ads. I can't stand ads so keep your ad app! Uninstalled this app after two minutes, or should I say two dozen ads and continuously being reminded to rate your app. Well I did as you requested!
Isnt legit. Asked for permission to record video and audio even though it isnt an option in app. Dont be fooled by the positive reviews, it takes little effort for scammers to pay for them. I uninstalled immediately. And if the developer leaves a comment saying update should work then it really proves that it's not legitimate because I just downloaded it so would be up to date.
Radiation detector is very useful and reliable mobile application. It is very easy to use and lightweight service. I like very much to use it. My experience is best here.
Radiation detection is made too much convenient as this awesome app is working so much nicely and precisely in this regard. So you can dertct any kind of background radiation.
It really surprised me when it came on I am being monitored I even turn it on it turns on itself what would be really nice if it would keep record and if you do keep records could you please send me the record of the very high levels of radiation it has detected at times when I'm surveilled.
yeah, no. This "radiation detector" is just a gauss meter, aka magnetic field meter. Put a magnet up to your phone's sensor, probably at the top, near your selfie camera, and watch the graph spike.
Radiation detector app is no doubt best app for Android users. It really well working and and all the features are attractive and gorgeous. I am really impressed with it's features and attractive look
Tried this because we bought a car from Japan. It said car was radioactive, just to be sure, tried it on our American built jeep, it was radioactive. Tried it on my American built dodge truck, and guess what, it was radioactive. Tried it on a cat in the house, he too was radioactive. All those maxed out the meter. So not worth it.

The app is excellent and would have gave it 10 stars if they had that many to give it works great if you have an echo dot download this app and start radiation test and put it close to it the thing goes nuts and also a running microwave makes it go nuts to but other appliances it does nothing also been testing it for several months against a rented gygor counter and the numbers are close !

Pressing "infrared detector" makes the screen flash black and nothing happens. No idea if it actually works because it won't load.

Im in an upstairs apartment and its constantly beeping! Wi fi rises. Im wondering if the phone im using this app on is the reason its so high and if yes then how ironic. Im a blonde...so im a little confused here. If i didnt use my cellphone [which has the app on it] but instead used a regular emf detector would my radiation levels be lower? Just saying...

Radiation detector is different and best working app . It works very quickly and is very easy too. I like it very much.
Good screentones and graphics. That's where my enjoyment of this app ended. Then I started trying to use the various control buttons, but don't mistake OPEN as one of those, it just leads to yet more advertising. There are four layers of advertising on the home screen, including OPEN. This probably the most advertising-laden app I have ever seen. And misleading, imho.
