Radio Canada FM free

Constantly closes and requires reopening. Any time your phone makes any other noise (let's say you scroll past one of those auto-play videos on Facebook and it plays for a split second), the radio app closes. You then need to reopen it and it will play an ad. Even something as simple as a reminder notification on your phone will close this app.

Pretty good. Some jumps in the songs on occasion. The ads are much better than Simple Radio, which I used for a number of years - less intrusive. And some are actually pertinent to me.

Better than what I was expecting! I installed to find just one of my stations, but also found relevant podcasts, and special interest stations as well that I didn't know existed in Canada!

Good selection. Still deserves 5 stsrz as the ads ate no different than conventional radio aside from having to interact to change stations. And the odd drop due to parallel phone usage

Enjoying this app waaayy more than all the others I've tried. Many more radio options, frequency of ads do Not appear to become more aggressive over time, (I understand the need for these). I can easily find radio stations, music, etc suggested by my siblings and friends from all across the country . Thank you for the connections!

Horrible after paying for full version. When I first downloaded the trial version all radio stations locally and nationally came in no issues at all. However as soon as I made the mistake of paying for the full version 40 % of radio stations with call letters became unnaccessable. And this is the second day like this. I am extremely dissatisfied with this product.

Love this app! BUT there is an issue with the alarm setting, allowing me to awake to music. It doesn't work. The sleep timer works great for falling asleep listening, I'm also having an issue with the app cutting out and starting up several seconds later or just shutting off completely. Very frustrating!!

Play pause play pause play pause play pause. And uninstall. (Battery permission given, phone screen still on.... bc I kept having to tell it to play.) Galaxy s20 with all updates. Play pause play pause. Ugh. Nope.

I always liked the app and still do. Rating 2 due to the fact the one for toronto police does Not work anymore. just spins then stops. Mentioned this long ago with response whatsoever and no fix.

You've got data you've got radio from all over, I like listening to local radio stations, when traveling and this app is great Not to bad

In response to the dev's reply: im sorry but I said I uninstalled the app... so your suggestion is irrelevant. An app should work right away without the user having to adjust settings. Plus I tried what you said and I don't see anything called "second plan".

The right app for me. It has all my local stations, which I can't even done on the iheart app, (which is geared for Bell Media stations)..

Always works well and nice to follow a Sens game when no tv available. Also enjoy exploring other stations around the country and have found a few gems!

Like the man who jumped out a ten story window and every time he went by a window someone would say So Far So Good. Great app. 👌

Everything is OK, except one thing which annoys too much, especially when I listening to the radio at work. After the pausing playing more then about 30 seconds and pressing 'play' nothing is happening. I should reopen the app and resume the broadcasting from it (it looks like reloading the station). It's frustrating and so inconvenient that I prefer other apps or some mp3 on my phone.

Great app. Gets me to any station I want instantly. Only annoyance is that since the browsing list is so large, it is inconvenient that the app resets to the beginning every time I try station. Maybe there's a setting for that - don't know. Otherwise, love it.

Perfect! Useful sleep timer and alarm to wake me up with a radio station and I can get my favourite podcasts. I'm a Canadian living abroad so this app makes me feel like I'm back home when I need it. The ads are not bad in the free version. Thanks a lot developers ❤️

Very informative and with a good variety of topics to choose from. The blogs are also interesting

Don't install it! It keeps disconnecting (and I'm on a stable 175mbs fiber optics connection) to show lousy ads. If you have your hands full, you have to be stopping what you're doing every 10 to 15 minutes to close the ad and click on play again. A real nuisance. Don't go for it!

So far I'm loving this App !!! Grest sound and many types of music to choose from !!

Tooo many invasive ads that refuse to go away, non functional, radio garden is much better now.

Update 18 Nov 2020: I was going to remove this app because connectivity was terrible, but I took a chance and bought the app. The ads have disappeared and the app connectivity issues have also disappeared so I think the ads were causing the problems. The radio stations within this app play perfectly now.

Good, only issue is, when I power off bluetooth device, the app doesn't pause, but continues playing, which is suppose not happen and the play should also stop. If you could able to fix this, I will rate as 5 stars. Regards,

Once it loses a signal, You can't get it back to play. Meaning, I lost my WiFi signal. Once I connected again, the app wouldn't work. I shut the app down, rebooted it, and still the app didn't work.
