The Association and Radio La Voz de Atitlán was born in the sixties with the protection of religious men and women of the parish of the municipality of Santiago Atitlan, with the initial idea of reducing the illiteracy rate in the Lake Atitlan via radio and therefore who boost the academic training of the first women in Santiago Atitlan.
