Radio Locator is a free app providing you with a way to find local radio stations (AM, FM) and listen to their online streams (streaming radio) stations
- perfect for long road trips or when going for a run. You can search by city, zip code, or use the GPS capabilities of your device to find exactly where you're at. And since the database is local, even on the road your phone or tablet will be able to search for stations! Each radio station will give you information about itself, including it's frequency, name, genre, and if it has an online stream.
If a station has streaming availability, you can listen to that stream through the app! You can add it to your favorites.

Play button doesn't work. Just installed this dumb app. About to uninstall
A few stations work, most don't. When it connects it works well. The app does not give any indication that it recognizes user input. UX dismal. This has not changed in long time.
I would like to use this app on long road trips including Canada to see what radio stations are around so I can tune in on the truck. Also, there should be an option to show distance in kilometres and sort the list by distance or signal strength. Otherwise, a useful app.
I don't know what people are complaining about. It works fine if you have a good signal.

The play button doesn't work
This app will not allow me to play while connected to wifi if I am not on wifi it plays just fine

No audio even though it said it was connected to station .
Hoped it would find over the air, nope.

It is crap
Works well for detection purposes and like it shows signal strength. My primary complaint is it won't show all radio stations but is limited to the first few listings and changing settings to show 100 listings won't help. Plus it won't show AM and FM stations at the same time. Other wise works as promised.
It gives me the stations that I like most that other apps couldn't give me, and in a stronger signal then in my car radio no less. The only down fall is that it doesn't name the songs or the band's that are playing. But as long as I hear the music playing I'm perfectly happy with this app.
Wont let me play. It keeps saying that I didn't add any favorites. But how could I when it's my first time playing tHis app
Keeps asking for favorites, but won't let me save any stations to the favorites list. Also, 1 of the 2 local stations I want to access doesn't come up in the list.
I am a station owner in my area, as with many apps I have found, the station's information is all wrong. Terrestrial Radio Stations are bought and sold, change formats, and on FM in the past 10 to 15 years, they change city of license. Stations change streaming providers as well. Apps like these are no good to anybody because Terrestrial Radio Stations change and the app developer can't keep up with all the change's.
