Radio NZ live: FM Radio & Internet Radio App

Bit glitchy. Sometimes the app crashes or doesn't respond so I have to close and reopen app. But great for listening to Mai FM which I can't get good reception on the radio in my region. So winning 🙌

Downgraded rating to 4 stars - I use the app almost daily and am happy with its performance...mostly. I ended up deducting a star because I've found that some stations periodically stop playing, say every 10-15 minutes and I'm having to restart the app each time. I've noticed this happens regularly with Morefm & Niu FM. Other stations like The Rock, Mix & Hokonui seem more stable. I've tried all the usual fixes but nothing has helped.

48 hours after buying Premium the ads disappeared suddenly. Therefore I am changing my review, because I really do like the app. It has a nice clean interface which allows you to find things easily and if very quick to load up the radio's I think the only thing I would wish is that there would be shortcuts to Radio stations you could put on your launcher (or a widget). Additionally it would be advised for the devs to change their FAQ to reflect relevant information for each platform.

Love that there is a place where I can quickly tune into my favourite music. However, since I got a new phone there is a problem and I keep having long periods where there is drop out. Not so good and very frustrating.

Will look to stop using soon unless radio stations are fixed as a few now working such as ZB. Have uninstalled, reinstalled app just in case but didn't help and have the latest version. Any advice? What more insight do you want? ZB and other stations don't work/open such as ZB. Others open and work fine. I see someone else left the same comment but still not fixed.

Good as. Have favourites picked out, ads are easily shut, still plays while other phone functions are used. There are some great stations I'd never heard of!

Would be usable if there weren't so many ads that you can barely pick out the icons that you actually *want* to have on screen. Seriously, this is a visual mess. Arguably the most ad-cluttered interface I've ever seen.

Just updated the app. Favourites gone and the function doesn't work any more. Recent doesn't appear to work either. I'm not impressed. I'll be finding a new radio podcast app if this isn't fixed

Works eventually but its rediculously slow startup time before it displays station options means it's now at the top of my list for apps to be deleted. Adverts are very invasive and spoil the experience too but the pointlessly slow startup time makes it almost as annoying as iHeartRadio.

I love how you have a radio station from every corner of the country. Ads can be abit annoying but I can see why its necessary. Yep, love this app so great work guys & gals. Thank you. Wish you had a built-in mp3/mp4 interface to play fav songs.

I like it. However, I do have two gripes: 1) would like higher quality streams. 2) Bluetooth support would be great and the ability to switch between channels via Bluetooth.

In times like these. Stories, opinions and my favorites topic music they are al here. I can log into Radio NZ app. And find that little word that soothes me the most. And yes all channels have their own Ex-factor. There you have it.

Great App. All the station options. I gave 4 stars because it must run slightly delayed and sometimes it jumps forward in the broadcast. Not a huge issue at all though.

Radio continues to stall, or quite often stop. This happens continuously. I have paid to remove ads but the problem persists. Very frustrating and disappointing.

An excellent app which does what it says on the tin, without ads or other annoyances. Very fast to start streaming compared to most others I've tried.

Nothing but simple functionality without the bloatware. Ads were a little annoying so i paid to get rid of them. Added bonus there's a truckload of radio stations on here.

Your update didn't work. Newstalk ZB, which is a must for me, doesn't work. It's using an AM frequency, perhaps it should use an FM frequency from a different city? I found another app that gives me everything I need. Sorry guys, no good.

Great app. No glitches. I like the way it reverts to the phone when I disconnect from a Bluetooth device when other apps I've used just stop when disconnected.

The app is good ,it works great , I just seem to lose service or signal about mid-morning nearly every day I don't know whether that's the app or me.

I only use it for Life FM. Haven't had any issues with the app. Like that it can play in the background while I'm on my phone. Also like that it still plays when I lock my phone and screen is off.
