Update: I contacted customer service and two weeks later I have still heard nothing. I changed my rating because of recent experiences with the app. It wouldn't delete programs from my library and wouldn't play some programs. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. The app needs to be improved! I love old time radio programs even though most of them ended before I was born. It is a great opportunity to use your imagination. Radio Spirits has a decent catalog of shows.
I bought a 1 year plan in January and got a new phone in July. When I tried to log in the app says my account does not exist. When I open the app it says my account is active and will renew in January. I can not use at this and have contacted customer support with no resolution. I found a restore subscription button and that corrected my problem. I love listening to the old radio shows. So much better than TV.
Love old radio and the storys. But I wish there was a auto play through a whole series instead of having to click each story, specifically when there only 12 minutes long.. haha,, and subscription is through Google play store an when I transferred to new phone I couldn't log back in so I had to cancel my subscription to rescribe to my subscription to get account login info. My Gmail for playstore wouldn't work. Said my email wasn't found, yet I had a subscription. Other than that its great app.
Look, I love the app and the selection. HOWEVER, the app keeps canceling my subscription. Three times now I have resubscribed and got charged 7.99. A few days later, I get an email saying it has been canceled. My advice is to wait until this is fixed because this is broken right now.
Its great but it needs to be fixed to keep it playing. You choose the play all button and its starts a the first episode and continue from there. As soon you hit the episode you wanted to hear it stops after it has been played. I need it to keep playing so I can sleep. Please update it.
Very poor! Charged me 3 times and continued to cancel my subscription without my approval. Tried contacting the customer service email within the app and have yet to hear anything back. All in all, the app has been deleted, I have been charged around $75.00 (2 six month subs and 1 one month sub) with no subscription to show because every time after 2 or 3 days, my subscription gets cancelled and when I attemot to reinstate with my Google id of course my service doesn't exist. Screw this app
Content great app ok Really really wish I could create a Playlist or play all for a specific show The app often seems to forget what I was listening to when the show ends and I need to search for it again and locate the next episode by memory as the app doesn't always seem to remember what I've listened to
Okay if you download the shows but the app will shut down after about out 8 minutes and you need to restart. Pausing every 5 minutes keeps it running but is a pain. Listening live is the same way.
Finally got the app to accept a yearly subscription and it worked great for a while but now it stops playing after a minute and won't restart. I really like the app when it works.
I paid for a year's subscription (47.99), got a new phone, and now it says I no longer have an account. I tried to reset my password, didn't work. I tried to use the Restore Subscription button, but it still says I don't have one. When I check my Google and bank account, they took my money and there's a subscription noted. I tried calling the phone number on the website and they said their app is free. I don't know what's going on, but I want my money back ASAP.
Can't get it to open. Everything was fine yesterday but today when I try to open it nothing happens. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but nothing works. I just paid for a year's subscription. Please help!
Love the app, but It has stopped working for some reason.
Great old time radio programs for free each day and love the monthly subscription service that offers way more shows that I can download to my phone.
Always a joy to hear the program of yesteryear, I've been listening since day one of satellite radio, I'm sure I've heard them all, but it's nice to break up the routine with some radio shows.
The app worked fine on my phone for a long time. I didn't take my laptop with me on my vacation; I just used my phone. Now I have to uninstall & reinstall the app over and over. The app works one time; that's why I have to do it. Now it wont even download. I finally download the app and it didn't work.
UPDATE....This app works fine. Now. I had some glitchy problems at first, however these issues have corrected themselves. I do enjoy the endless hours of listening I have done already. I know I will have to renew next year. My only complaint is that you cannot ff/rr any of the episodes. As a driver I am on the road in my vehicle, so making a selection is tedious, especially when I have to pull over every half hour to make a selection or to just forward to the next episode. Make these features available on my Android device and your app will be renewed without hesitation, otherwise I'm looking for a different app when this expires.
