Constantly losing connection. Every 10-15 minutes it drops and has to be reconnected. BBC sounds app and other radio players I use don't do this. I have a good broadband and wifi connection and no problems with anything else. Tried uninstalling several times, cache and data have been cleared several times but no difference at all. Uninstalled for the final time today. This is a great little app when it (rarely) works as it should. This desperately needs to be fixed.

I have amended my rating from 5 stars to 1 star, because I am now forced to watch an advertising video every time I open the app. No option to close the video before it finishes. Bad! I can accept a static one-page ad which can be immediately deleted, as before, but not a video that cannot be closed during its first 10 seconds. Original review: Simple and reliable. Stays connected, unlike my other radio app.
Best radio app I've found to date (May 2020). Very straightforward to use with the option to create 'favourites' so you don't have to trawl through the extensive range of stations each time it's used. Opening ads can be annoying, but hey, it's a 'free' app 🙂 However, it does automatically re-start when buffering is necessary, unlike the previous radio app I used, which had to be manually re-started.
easy to use. and it's free, nothing else to say As I've already stated, it really is a very easy app to use and navigate. The Adds aren't in anyway intrusive and the selection of stations provided help to broaden listening options. The only point to raise is that, when I do find a station I enjoy I would like a web address so that I can see what the station has to offer in a broader context. I have installed several radio apps but yours is the only one that I am really comfortable with. Grazie.
Very happy to rate this app. I've never had any kind of issue with the function, and I really enjoy checking out radio from all over the world. Love that they have apps for other countries' radio stations as well. Also, so far, not asked constantly to rate it, as some apps will continually harass the user.
Very easy to use, only problem is I use it on my android radio in my car and the screen is laying on its side because it's portrate and needs to be able to rotate to landscape. But as is now finds stations with real ease, easy to setup almost did it for me, absolutely love this app apart from the afore mentioned which I'm sure is a very easy fix
I just needed a simple radio app while working outside connected to a bluetooth speaker. Glad to say app was simple to use without annoying ads, far as I can tell with limited experience. Would of been nice if had choices to view stations in list mode, small, big icon mode etc. Also what should of been available as an option is dark mode.. App is a torch at night otherwise. But that's all personal preference.. overall still worth 5*****
Constantly cuts outs and repeats. Constantly. UPDATE Thanks for the reply, much appreciated which is why I have given 3 stars now instead of two. I have allowed app to play in the background and turned off battery saver, however, despite following your instructions it still cuts out and skips back. Today only 5 minutes in and it's already cut out 4 times and skipped back once.
Enables playing of British radio stations, including outlying places such as NI, IOM, etc. This is the only radio (independent) app I've tried.... but very happy with it for accessing British radio, generally! The only issue I've noticed is that BBC local stations are not available for quite some time after (the BBC?) make changes. I downloaded the BBC Sounds app to get around that problem..... but this app has eventually made those stations available again.
All the top good UK stations are on here plus many many more I have been using this radio app for a few years now with no problems. There are adds when the radio starts but don't let that put you off. They are easily skipped past and don't pop up when your chosen station is playing, note also this app is free and needs paying for somehow.
Great App. My favourite radio app. 5 stars if there was a way to drag and reposition more than one (adjoining stations) in the favourites list. Other than that...Well done!! There you go 5 Stars : ) what I meant though was moving say the whole of the QMR group simultaneously to the top instead of one by one. Again, nice app!!
Pretty good app. Lots of stations to choose from but some sports commentary may not be available over the internet due to "contractual agreements" etc. Annoying, but that aside, the audio is crisp and clear with headphones or through my Galaxy Tab A speakers, so no real complaints.
Installed. Does what it says. Good loud volume too which you can then lower rather than not loud enough. One user commenter says there is no dark mode. Yes there is. If you tap to exit, a pop up appears giving 3 choices, choose 'Run in Background' it then exits to your Home Screen. All you do is press power to put phone in Sleep mode, obviously not power off. The Radio then is still on but running in the background but with Screen asleep.
Ok, 4 stars is a bit mean. The reason it didn't get 5 is that I found searching for new stations tedious. Ok if looking for an already known station but not much information to go on for discovering new stations. However, I do like it's simplicity and wouldn't want to trade that in for something full of features. Your quick response to my comment also proves the app is still being looked after. All things considered 4 stars is indeed a bit mean so I've increased this to five, it is free.
Been using the app for a while now, and all of a sudden the live caption/sub titles have come on, and now I cannot get them off and it runs my phone battery down so much quicker. Would be awesome to have this feature on all radio but cannot switch it off.
The Best App for UK Radio I've found so far. However, it does seem to cut out & shut down. Too often for my liking, it's possible that this is "Buffering". But I will stick with it. Despite this obvious fault, I have still given 5 Stars without hesitation. The buffering may be my I.P., (Orange). Dumping them VERY soon. P.S. I've also deleted all my other Internet Radio Apps on ALL my Devices. I have now dumped Orange & have gone 4G at home. The cutting out still persists!!! Not acceptable!!!
I've had other radio apps. This one works grate. Although one feature I miss is being able to see which artist is playing and links to albums or band sites. But getting no interrupting announcement on this app. Really easy to use. Very few obstructive adds.

Not a great app. Plays music from the Internet is all. * Does not automatically recover after a phone call / interruption. Annoying/dangerous /causes illegal actions whilst driving. * Does not show DAB text - station ident, presenter, current song. Irritating * Mutes for 13 seconds only then automatically starts playing again. Annoying.
Had this a week and I'm really impressed. Easy to save favourites and excellent signal on dab stations with no buffering / dropping out on my phone. Ads not intrusive at all, you just get one ad when you first open the app and thats it until the next time you open it.
Stable App: I've tried lots of different Radio Apps and this is the most stable radio app I have found. Easy to navigate and I like the separate page for your favorites which opens when starting the app. There's a lot of thought in this app and it's greatly appreciated. Love it. 👍😁
When I initially downloaded, with exception to the skippable banner ad, this app prided itself with no ads up on launch. Now every time that I launch the app most add are not skippable. Clicking do not want to see this add is mostly non existant, and does nothing to stop other obligarory ads. Still one of the better radio apps,
