This app is terrible. Ever sense Lending Club took over there have been issues. Bank will not stay connected through Plaid either. But if the lendingclub app was better there would be no need to use third-party apps like Trubill (which is outstanding).
I can't find a place to leave app feedback in the app, so I'm hoping developers read this review. Strictly a convenience issue. I have about a dozen apps that use fingerprint security. (Banks, cards, utilities, etc.) This app is the only one that does not prompt for fingerprint automatically as soon as it is opened. You need to tap the fingerprint icon first. This gets me almost every time. Would like to see automatic fingerprint prompt like all my other apps.
Doesn't work half the time. They don't send emails when trying to recover. The ui is clunky and ugly. Hard to navigate. Just use the website if you're unfortunate enough to work with them
Tried to start a savings account online and it failed every way I tried. I have plenty of funds, stocks, and good credit during a time banks are desperate for customers. I talked with customer service twice and each time they said to try again. The people I spoke with were VERY kind and helpful but could only do so much with bad software.
App refuses to let me log-in dispite me entering the correct username & password. Tried UN & PW on the app,, don't match. Log-in with same UN & PW on the regular web, gates open up. Please fix
As far as the app itself goes, it's completely useless to me. Will not let me sign in from a mobile device when I am entering my password exactly the way it is on my PC. UNINSTALLED. While NOT related to the app, LC only let's you do autopay, so I have to wait to make my monthly pmt. I can't pay biweekly like I do all my other bills, meaning I can't split my monthly pmt into two pmts per month. Lame.
The app is very handy. It is easy to switch back and forth between accounts. It is also very easy to see and edit your personal information.
The best internet bank I have found. The app works well, customer service works well, and they are friendly with other banks and institutions including crypto exchanges.
Same problem as so many others. Won't recognize my login credentials that I use on my PC. I see no comments or responses from Lending Club. Shows they don't care.
You cannot see recent transfers. There's no way to confirm if the transfer went thru. Very frustrating and hard to trust the app.
Great app a bit confusing at first but once you get the hang of it it's smooth sailing. Customer service is A++
Great access. Found myself running short at the dentist and transfer was easy!
Overall, has been a good experience. Not a big fan of having to log back in after updates, but it is what it is.
I've been very happy with the mobile deposit process. The app makes it super easy! I haven't experienced ANY of the problems with the app that other users have mentioned. I have also never had a bad experience with trying to transfer money from one account to another. I have a Samsung 8+ and the app works fantastic! I LOVE this bank. I don't have a huge account and my balance is only above $1000 once a month, so maybe it's people with higher balances that have problems.
UPDATE: It's been six months and Radius hasn't addressed the issue with the deposit feature involving the check's photos. I'm switching to a new mobile bank, but I wanted to let others know the issue might arise because the software can't deal with phone orientation properly. If I turn my phone to the left, so it's in landscape mode when I take the photo, there's an error. If I turn it to the right, there's no error and the photo is successfully taken.
Easy navigation, simple GUI and fast. The app is fine. The service behind the app however may need work. The new card expected at acct opening never came. I contacted CS and requested one. That was 3 weeks ago. Still no card. Transfers show instant confirmation, then the xaction disappears. This doesn't make a great first impression.
Mobile app does 95% of what I need on the move and I like the bank. Always easy to get on the phone with a real person and get things straightened out quickly. But PLEASE disable the auto capture function for mobile check deposit. I'm always frantically trying to get things framed in the box and have to retake the photo 4-5 times because it's blurry or out of the lines. Automation≠good UX. It honestly makes mobile deposits kinda stressful which is a hilarious things to say but also, real.
I use to never get the back of my checks to register when doing a mobile deposit and needed to wait for the option to capture the picture manually shows up. Today is the first time the camera would capture both sides of the checks quickly, so I've moved from a 1 star to a 3 star experience. Still some inconveniences with the app, so no 5 stars yet, but hopefully I can add that soon.
Radius is best bank I've ever had. I've been a member for over 10 years and during that time have saved and earned money with their interest bearing and fee free checking account. The interest they pay out is higher than most big bank savings accounts. The app allows you to effortlessly perform all of your banking needs with an intuitive and easy to app.
Fantastic Bank. Fantastic and easy to use app. Highly recommend to anyone who was worried about joining a "big" bank. No fees involved and full service of any bank including bill payments (they even print and mail checks for you). I'm raving because I finally have a bank account and financial ease through this great service. Customer service is also excellent, fast, responsive and helpful.
The latest upgrade is bad. Please, please bring back the old version. The new version has a ton of useless features and displays unusable information. I can't even tell the difference between 2 savings accounts. Navigation is confusing. Please bring back the simple and clean design of the previous version.
Fingerprint login works well. The user interface has gotten better, and seems to be improving.
2nd time they've messed something up, in less than 6 months! They literally withdrew, without authorization, $100 from my Cash App account on Sat (5/7) causing me to overdraft and cancel my Mother's Day plans for my mother today. That money is not in my Lending account, so they must have it somewhere else 🤔. The freaking irony is my job issued a deposit on Fri (5/6), but DEPOSITS INTO the bank have to wait till Mon to clear yet they can WITHDRAW OUT OF other banks over the weekend... WHAT?!?!
Easy to use app and their rates are the best!
Transferring money to other banks from this bank is weird. It can take more than a week, sometimes the transfer simply drops (even though there's enough funds) and the balances on accounts don't update based on pending transfers. Get it together guys, maybe take a look at Simple's app to get an idea of a modern helpful app.
Rejecting mobile checks arbitrarily. Not a dependable service. Consider banking elsewhere :(
App crashes every few weeks and then the fingerprint login option disappears for months until a new update is out. Terrible.
The app worked mostly fine until recently. It started glitching when I attempt to do transfers from one account to another within Radius. ... The app claims that I haven't filled in the "transfer from" or "transfer to" fields, which I clearly have. Someone below mentioned having the same problem. A programming error needs attention ASAP. It's now 06/22/2021: the transfer problem still exists. It's now 08/14/2021 -The transfer problem is STILL here. This is a major problem being ignored!
It was good right up until the time I was expecting a wire transfer from someone investing it turned out to be a bad transaction so I returned it I do not have any contact with this person anymore. They refuse to close my account and send me a check for the balance but they will keep it locked so I can't do anything with it until I give them documents that I don't have access to. Was told on the phone three times that they could bypass this and go ahead and close my account and mail me a check.
The app does not provide an in-app transfer confirmation. The app does not show pending transactions. There are government issued apps that work better than this, and that's saying something. The customer service is slow. I have not been able to access my account for over a week. Submitted requested documentation four days ago and still nothing. Would not recommend.
