Rain Radar

Simple to set up and use. Over the last month very accurate. No over-intrusive ads. Love it - thank you!

This radar app has all the features I'm interested in. Opens quickly to a full screen radar page without a bunch of clutter or things I'm not interested in. The radar image is not downgraded like many apps do. Images load quickly and refresh regularly. Very nice work by the developer.

Unbelievably irritating and intrusive adverts which pop up on top of the app and are difficult to close. I chose to delete it because there are others out there with acceptable levels of ads.

Was OK but... since the recent update the app shows rain in the past and only up to the current time rather than before, it used to show the next few hours also:-( time to remove.

Very basic, non-fuss and easy to use rain radar. Excellent color intensity easy and as accurate as you will get in these apps. Unfortunately, it's not worth purchasing because there is still no manual frame control - just play and pause yet other apps do. Some data segments were missing (or holes) in the display on the odd frame since the update yet a rival app using the same data had no such trouble. finally- the app crashed on android 5.1.1 since the update too!

I like this app because it has a simple interface that displays the weather radar immediately. The best part is the you can quickly change to a predictive view where the app shows you where it's predicted the rain will fall for two hours in the future. It would be even better if it showed predicted rain a little farther into the future, but a lot of weather apps don't do this at all.

Don't like the update Seems the older version was much better to predict where the rain was going to fall. And very slow to up load.

Not sure why but I get intense rain notifications on clear blue sky days

Doesn't predict correctly. It keeps on predicting but it doesn't rain whereas now when it's raining for last one hour, it hasn't sent any notification. It's not even showing clouds above the whole city now when it's raining already. Developer has definitely been putting efforts in making this App but he must check why doesn't it pick up the right data timely.

Very good app... I went with the ads free upgrade. App is far better than Rainviewer (I have the pro version of that). I'm actually seeing precip on this app when Rainviewer is showing nothing. Well done!

Great for what I need in FL. Current rain and forecast rain.

Good app for the rain radar and clouds. Would be better if the temperature was actually shown on the map rather than having to tap on the time at the bottom of the screen to see it but generally very happy with the app. 4* not 5 because of the temperature thing but good app despite that minor irritation.

Used to be great, and fast. Now its is slow and fails to show rain on the map more than it works. Change map scale and wait.... and wait ...and wait, even on the fastest wifi ... many time the app fails to show rain.... Consider changing the name to "sometimes is shows rain" Bennett using it for years but time to find some that consistently works.....

Good and easy to use, had to change the rating as the radar had been offline for the past 5 days now so not actually showing any information at all, shame.. Note that there is a "Pro" button, assuming the option to go ad free, but on touching it I can't access the option so stuck with the daily ads I guess...

The app is very smart and works very well. I did experience an issue after paying for the pro version and reached out to the developer for advice who responded with several ways to potentially fix it. Turns out a simple reinstall fixed the problem. Very fast response and now I can enjoy the app. First class service and great app.

Very good, recommend. I read many of the reviews and although many were negative of adverts, the number of responses with advice impressed me, very hands on. I have had no problems, one advert a day and the rain fall prediction is brilliant. I'm about to hang the washing out even though my other weather app says rain all day.

Rain prediction is a nice feature but consistently wrong so I mostly ignore. Rain graphics are so pixelated, thought it was previously finer (or am I mistaken?). Would be nice if rain graphics has a higher display resolution. It's good that it plays back the last 1-1/2 hours, but I wish it was in 5 minute increments rather than 10 minutes. Please consider making this an option.

Good UI and smooth transition. failed to load fresh data today, and displayed yesterday evening data - uninstall & reinstalled helped to get away with the problem. May be nice if other optionals added, 1. option to display wind direction at ~600-700hpa 2. option to display wind direction at Surface/1000hpa.

good but there are just so many better apps out there. For example the default is not zoomed in on the City but instead the whole country. Still paid for the no ads version to support them developer. So, it can become better.

Quick and easy, and shows a larger time frame than other radar apps. Glitchy, sometimes doesn't know the time or show the map. I have to uninstall/reinstall too get trustworthy information. Still very simple and easy.

Well I like what I saw so jumped straight in with the pro version. Unfortunately I couldn't run it long enough as it just kept locking up. There's a first. Galaxy S10+ Android 10. 😲😕 *Update Hi Simon thanks for the quick response. I tried what you said but it still locks up then crashes.

Initially liked this app very much. Didn't mind about the ads (it's free - what do you people expect?!) but the last few days the app crashes and closes after a few seconds every time it is opened.
