It will check the forecast and when a storm is approaching your location and it's pretty easy that rain falls will send you a notification alert to your phone, so you will be aware to take the umbrella or find a dry accommodation :)

I downloaded this the day before a big snow storm. The description just rain and snow alerts. It's been snowing all morning and I haven't received a single alert. Deleting it now.
