RainAware relies on National Weather Service radars and may not work properly if a radar is down or if the beam is blocked by mountains. In rare instances, ground clutter may result in a false positive for rain at your location. Extremely light sprinkles or drizzle may not always be detected. Precipitation times will change as RainAware adjusts to rapidly changing weather conditions. Precipitation can form suddenly or dissipate at any time.

**Stopped working**, android 4.3. Endless "loading" spinning circle for the "main" and "imagery" tabs, the only one that works at all is "forecast." Did all the uninstall/reinstall stuff, delete data etc, nope, still not working. Whenever I had an intermittent delay w/ main tab load issue, I would change the city and that would fix it. Bottom line is I have tried everything to get this program to work and nothing worthwhile works anymore. Too late for a refund, so here is the bad review.
I love this app and have used it for years happily. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the interface could be prettier, some notification options would be nice, and it seems like it might not be actively worked on much anymore. But overall, it's great. One of the few apps I've used consistently for years.
Meh. This app is absolutely the most accurate rain forecaster that I can find. Correct to the minute, espec within the 3hr wheel. Long range pretty accurate too and I rely heavily on it. Problem is - usually when bad wx pends and I need it most - I get no forecast and note that says "Server Error. Please check again later". No prob on my end - all else works fine. Once that note stayed for a full day. Searching now for other apps maybe more reliable. Will always keep this also.
Great concept. Like other reviewers mention, it frequently fails to load data. My impression is there are limited servers to run/support this app. Would be great if somebody could give this a financial boost for hardware upgrades. A lot of potential here.
Could use an update to look a little more modern. Slow at times. Some pages won't load at all or very slow to load. Even on wifi
Used to be a great app. Now it takes 1-3 minutes to load, if it even loads at all. It's trash. Unusable.
This app used to be great but if it takes forever to actually load the weather, and you can forget about switching screen views.
It used to work better .. I feel it's due for a major overhaul. .forecast is not working with current update. It rained today morning and the app still showed as dry where as Today weather rightly predicted rain.
After the most recent update,the app loads information so slowly. That's why I give it a two star rating. Please fix the speed to like it was before the update.
No longer works. I have Uninstaller and reinstalled multi times. Developer replied, said they don't know why it's started failing. Was great ap, now don't buy
Solid weather app. Make sure you contact the developer before ranting! They are making it better very quickly.
Constantly "loading" used to be great but I can't use it if it keeps circling. Deleting now.
Lots of trouble loading the last 3 weeks. Notified the company several times. Looking for a new app.this used to be a 5 star app

I've had it for a few years. The first time I used it, it was spot on in predicting heavy rain at 325 PM. It's rarely ever been accurate again, even in the 6-12 hour range. Don't waste your time and money.
Rain prediction is GREAT, love it! But radar no workie. I hope they fix it
This app would be great if it had any kind of notifications for when you were not already in the app. Another good addition would be to have a widget so you could always see a summary of your conditions looking at the widget. Tapping either the notification or the widget would open the app so you could view the details if you needed them. Now, the app icon just sits there.
