Even with a wifi extender located directly next to equipment, it continuously drops & thus, I can't use remotely. It has great signal but fails to stay connected more than 24 hrs. I have to continuously go in my garage & click the blinking wrench icon to get it back online. Is this normal, most likely not! Been happening for a year & not happy. 2 stars as its nice to have when connected, but useless if not. Frustrated w/ it already. Update: have to leave screen display on to fix issue...not good

Great little system. Use it with a Mini 8, using just 4 zones. Flexibility of scheduled waterings as well as manually watering on the fly, very handy when you are away on a hot day. I haven't had an issue with this system since installing it 4 years ago, based in Australia.

High quality reliable sprinkler timer. This thing beats all the others I'm aware of that are on the market. And it connects directly, not relying on any 3rd party servers, which means I don't have to be bothered with black out periods while they update their server software, perform maintenance or server down time.

Very happy with my rainmachine. At first I had connection problems then I switched it to a 2.4 only connection and it solved all the problems. No lagging or not able to connect from local or over the internet. I'm about to upgrade the app right now and hope it keeps working as good.

Great app It would be to see have Rain delay feature integrated into watering programing. So that it would delay watering based on the weather. Right now the rain delay is on its own and functions manually. You have to go to Rain delay add number of days and press Delay. After that red notification shows delayed time in programming.

This app needs a dark mode. It's also not the prettiest app in the world some care could be put into it with a dark mode and a little bit more design it would be more pleasant to use it's very bare Bones The system works pretty good although you need the stronger Wi-Fi antenna for it to work reliably

Poor development effort. No major upgrades in ages apart from a privacy link! Needs to be modernised and feature rich to stay competitive. Connection if often unreliable too having to try multiple times before connecting eventually. Also more recently it's forgetting the password.

Skip this app AND product. This is the worst wifi device experience I've ever had. It remains to be seen if I'll get the unit connected to my wifi. Seriously. Tech support actually had me separate my router bands because "the unit gets confused about 5ghz". WTAF. Guess what? It gets confused about 2.4ghz too.

Application works well, and miles ahead of old standard control box. On occasion it does freeze up which can be frustrating; however, after 4 years as a user tech support is top notch so relationship is important to this company. Awesome technology here!

Bug- Changing the Next Run date of watering does not get saved. Bug- Touching a running program does not give the option to edit it and instead it just stops it. Needs improvement in menu navigation for some items (watering history, ...)

If you can't connect via WiFi... The issue appears to be that the default connection type is HTTPS. The problem is, auto-discovery seems to grab the HTTP address of 192.168.x.x:8081, of which port 8081 is used for regular HTTP. To fix this, go into Network Settings, turn off Local Discovery and manually add your device as 192.168.x.x:8080. Port 8080 on this device is reserved for HTTPS. Port 8081 is reserved for HTTP. This is a bit backwards, but hey, it solves the problem!

Great device and app, but it has often required multiple tries to connect even over home wifi. The new freeze protection feature is nice and all, but stop the notification when it's already been winterized with the schedule disabled for the season!

This is my second unit. first one was awesome. Moved, bought the new unit and I can not get the app to connect and find my WiFi for the life of me. Called customer service within business hours. was on hold for an hour. Finally opted to leave a message. Let's see if they call back. I will update when available.

The remote access is a joke on this product. I have two different rain machines at two diffrent properties. Always issues reconnecting remotely with no error messages. Used for thr past 2 3 years.

Can't configure controller. Got started and then disconnected. Now it connects and then asks me to press a button on the device I press an illuminated button on the device and nothing happens on the app. Just sits there. Had to do all program configuration from the touch screen. Which was a pain and makes the app today useless.

Slow and clunky. Everything takes forever to load. So when navigating deeper levels of menus it takes minutes to open an app and change one detail.

App is not working on S21 Ultra. I see that there was a review stating this over 10 months ago. Still not fixed. Worked on earlier Samsung fine.

It does not work on my Galaxy Note 8. An internet connectivity issue toast pops up. However, it worked when I tried it on the iPhone. Please fix!

Awesome hardware and software. I have had this for sytem for two years now. Works with alexa easy and my home weather station to automatically adjust % watering and days. 😎🌷🌻🍅

Does not work properly. It has allowed me to log in twice. It does not allow me to remote log in. I'm close to sending it back for a different brand.

Good app, does what it should. User Interface is pretty clunky and unintuitive.

App always hangs at downloading data from device. Takes a long time. Sometimes comes back with data. App should cache the zones and data.

Doesn't work on my new Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, as other's have previously said. What's with the lack of attention to this problem? No updates for forever.

it's easy to use. i like it's simple interface and gives me notifications on what is happening.

After talking with tech support and fixing the issue, this app is running back to a 5 star app. Love my system.

It's great - when it can connect. However, it loses the Wi-Fi connection all the time.

I keep getting "something went wrong " voice response every time I try to use Google assist to start watering different zones
