Select a rain sound and, optionally, a thunder and/or a relaxing music. Then you can adjust the volumes individually to find the ideal combination and so encourage a deep relaxation of the mind.
If you wish you can set a timer and turn off the screen. At the end of the set time, the sound fades gently and the app closes by itself, so you do not have to worry about close it if you fall asleep.
You can also keep the app in the background in conjunction with other apps so you can continue to listen your favorite music, play games or browse the internet.
For a better experience, I recommend you the use of headphones or external speaker to listen the relaxing sounds.

I have trouble falling to sleep so i was searching for something to ease me into a relaxed state of mind. This app does improve my restless nights. It soothes and it calms me to the point that get sleepy enough to fall asleep. This is a great app and i recommend anyone to try it. It was easy to download and i had no problems with the app. Its great and i love it!! Im looking forward to downloading some more apps that soothe me into sleep. It shuts itself off by fading the sound slowly!! Amazing!
Easy to use, relax to and most of all easy to fall asleep to. Do not understand why something as innocuous as saving certain choices as favorites has to be an option only in the premium version. No ads - yes, picking a favorite or two - no. Something to think about for this app, though.
Everything about this app is perfect! The piano music is restful, the rain sounds so peaceful. While sleeping, I actually wondered if my window was open. It was not. The thunder options contribute to the experience. I chose to upgrade not because I had to but because I saw it as a way to support the developer.
Been using for about a year now. Good variety of sounds, the loop works great, and i love the option for "distant thunder ". There is a picture ad on screen occasionally but they arent very intrusive, and usually only see one in any given use. No ads happen during your loop at all, and its just perfect for what i need.
Came across this app by chance, thought yeah give it ago..and love it, easy to use, I've always loved the sound of rain off any description, Ok there's add's but hey don't all free app's, love this app.
I've been having issues with sleeping so I love the sound of rain/thunderstorm & last night I slept wonderful. I recommend this appt & it ran 9 hours too!
Update March 23,20 shuts down immediately after setting timer before i even put the phone down redundant....uninstalling. relaxing, authentic sound and several choices. Update 1: after using this for a while, its now cutting out a lot defeating the purpose. Update 2 march 26: I turned on loop as suggested and it keeps shutting down more often, in addition, it drained my phone battery. I'm so disappointed, I was loving the app when i first started using it.
Am really enjoying this app. I play it during the day as background...nice, relaxing sounds.

Just downloaded. Easy to use. Several different rain sounds to choose from. Some pop ups but they dont interfere with the sound. Look forward to listening tonight to help me fall asleep.
love this app! the loop option allows for smooth consistant playing - no silence when the loop starts over. so many sound options! I have downloaded around 10 of these apps and this is the real deal!!!!!!
I battle w/ bad insomnia so it does help me sleep...Im sure I would like the app even more if I didn't have to spend additional money for premium options, but that's usually how it's done..unfortunately there's no money back guarantee if the premium options don't work to your satisfactory.
Great sound affects but the birds are a little too loud and would love to hear crickets
I love that I can add different levels of thunder and layer in different musicalinstruments to create and save favorites. I went right to sleep the first time I used it. 3 hr nap which is pretty amazing for having so much chronic pain that keeps me awake. Thank You 😊

the best app I've ever downloaded and the most relaxing music. mixed with the rain is brilliant and so many rain options. I love the nighttime rain theme. A definite must for relax and good sleep.
enjoyed sounds very much ... just wish I could turn the volume higher. it would be so nice to have one that I could make it as loud as I want. it's hard to fall asleep when your straining to hear the rain sounds.

This is awesome, I can create my own storm using built in tweets, this app has helped me to fall asleep many times, the sound seems non repetitive which makes my storms seem more realistic.
This app is awesome, helps you to relax,and I had the best sleep I ever had listening to the rain and thunder. I used ear buds and I was sound asleep within 30 min. Keep up the good work ,who ever developed this app.
I love this app!! Just continuous rain and other soothing sounds!
So far. so good. Periodically, the sound lowers and a note sounds. That's disruptive when you are trying to relax or sleep. Now the real test - will it actually turn off when I want it to do so?
really good. This app is good when i want to sleep or relax. my only problem is sometimes when you have the sounds turned on sometimes it stops playing but other than that its great.
I love to fall asleep to the sounds of rain and thunder. I downloaded a this app on a whim and am I glad I did!!! Not only are there several choices of rain sounds, from an umbrella to listening to rain in the park but you can thunder to the rain!! Yay!! Now you just need to add crackling fireplace sounds and I'll be in virtual heaven!! Thanks for this app.

Very good app and easy to use. Lovely soothing background. Ads are not too intrusive. I would have liked the ability to mix a few further sounds with the rain on all the selections, but that may come in later versions.
