Overall not a bad experience.. fairly speedy and intuitive interface. My biggest complaint is when filling out info in the survey section it will sometimes refresh and delete everything not yet saved. It seems to happen when pictures are being uploaded. This has cost me a lot of time over the years.
The absolute best platform for daily reports. Fast, fast, fast. Intuitive. Extremely functional with very clean and attractive outputs. Developer: Would like to see the ability to format reports within the app. Page breaks and layout can be somewhat askew at times. Also the ability to assign tasks to groups/multiple users. And PLEASE, do not grow into some dark remnant of what you are now. The "Do one thing, and do it better than anyone else" approach has worked for many others.
Great way to get your job site organized. The app also makes communicating your status with your client and contractor easier. I had a little hiccup with the last update, but it was resolved promptly. They reach out to me directly. Great customer service.
Would be perfect if there was a tab for the projects completed so jts easier to get to the older completed projects instead of going back to the date. Other than an awesome app perfect for what I do. Update: I found out its a subscription based program. I would rather have paid 15 dollars for a license input it and have ot forever or something. Sorry to say I won't be using it after the trial.
It's okay--but constant updates, and each update requires a sign-in again and this is Not a security feature, but leaves everyone wondering about the developers Android know-how. Also, simple camera features like vertical and horizontal sometimes do not translate.
Can't believe how much more information I can document fast, easier and how awesome it looks on the final report. User friendly and from smart phone to computer I can spend more time in the field and completely fulfilling my documentation duties. Don't think I could go back to my 1990's way of doing things after using Raken.
Very convienient way to do my dailies. Quick and relatively easy to use. Great customer service. However, VERY often the app stops working and if you haven't saved your work recently, you will lose it.
First two days using app I would get stuck on the loading screen (would never load to home screen) and after restarting my phone and then deleting cache from the app, it still would not load in. On third day and so far things are running smooth.
Use it EVERY work day to do my Daily jobsite reports, ( I have as few as 1 and as many as 6 ) jobsites going on at one time, this app enables me to type daily work details, and photos AND videos of jobsite progress and applications which is very helpful to those not in the trades to get an understanding of how we go about our business! I only wish Raken enabled the app to do my reports without the need for wifi, I could do it on my tablet instead of my phone which uses alot of storage for photo
Beats paper reports any day and is simple to use. You can easily attach photos and documents to the reports. It's a simple and intuitive program. I've tried a few other smart device apps, but this one is the best that I've used by a long shot.
The only drawback I see to Raken is in that there are only three specific levels of service. Somewhere between the first and second level there would be a more commonly usable version I believe. Outside of this, I would have given Raken 5 stars.
Great app for construction daily reporting. I can see who was on a job, how many hours they worked that day/week between projects, upload photos, it automatically uploads weather stats for the day... has made my life easier and gives a much cleaner and more thorough daily report than paper.
Why don't you have a place for trouble shooting anything? App has had a lot of glitches lately and now I can't even use it. My other issue with this app is it does NOT load photos in the order I install them. I'm going to suggest to the company that we move away from the Raken app if these issues can not be resolved.
Was contacted by the software company one day after starting to use the software. They had all my personal information as well as client information that they dicuscused With me over the phone. I don't like that they have access to my clients personal information and would discuss it over the phone. With just asking my name as verification.
I love this APP! It has streamlind our reporting process and is so easy to use! It has allowed us to easily have all superintendents send a detailed report with photos and it takes very little effort. Works with Phone or Tablet. Great product! Thanks Raken
Works great. Simple, effective and time saving app. Only issue appears to be when you zoom in camera mode it locks up and wont download the photo.
At first this app runs very well, but the longer I use it the more glitching it becomes. I get random error prompts that are false and tabs take extra long to load. If I restart Raken and give it a minute it seem to fix the problem.
I have been a general superintendent for years and have had to use a secretary for so much of my reporting because of how complex so many reporting apps have been in the past. Not so with Raken. Raken is so easy even i can do it. Professional business counterparts are also impressed with how my reports all look.
THIS APP IS AS USEFUL AS DRYING OFF WITH A WET TOWEL.... - CAN BE EASILY SURPASSED WITH A PEN AND PAPER - DIAL UP IS QUICKER THAN THESE LOAD TIMES. ( UPLOAD A PHOTO ON FRIDAY??? WELL YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT TILL MONDAY) - YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION , BUT CAN BE BEATEN WITH AN EXCEL TEMPLATE - THESE GUYS WILL NICKLE AND DIME EVERY FEATURE AVAILABLE
As a Technology Associate of Microsoft and as a personally a software tester, there is some bugs of not taking out breaks in the equation it creates a problem then makes it where the Employee or employer look for a different system. If you have any problems, Call Jonathan he will help. I am glad that Raken trys to fix the problem!
A decent app that does not upload easily and can't always retrieve upload images. Also constantly ask me to re-sign in, it gets annoying
Looks clean but not impressed. Has a lot of features that lack functionality. This will replace a paper form but it seems to me it is missing work flows. Maybe was intended for smaller businesses? Has the potential to be a great business solution.
