Every time i press the back button, i lose everything and get sent to the start page. A was in a search with a few filters and halfway down the list. Dont bothet checking something out as you search cause youll be sent straight back to the start page and lose everything. Fix this bug and ill use it. EDIT: I have tried it again to take screenshots and it has been fixed. I don't know if you did anything on your end. I have not changed anything on my side. But. It's working fine now. Yay!!! 5 🌟

Ridiculously slow... The app doesn't do the service justice. Overall the app is disappointing. It takes around 10 years for something to finally get added to your cart. It shouldn't take this long, it should just add items to your cart without needing to do anything computationally complex in the background. Save whatever computations you are performing at checkout time... Just like every other modern shopping application... The position of your search is not saved after clicking on an item. This means you have to scroll all the way back down just to get to your original position where you were scrolling. Sometimes images don't load or appear. Annoying. No wishlist functionality? This is a shopping app... Right? Items in cart do not carry over after you sign in. Why And many more issues...

App is not user friendly. I can't view other items in the same shop except new arrivals. Certain times it will change to Japanese and I won't know where to change it to English. Sometime I'd be in a loop just to view items listed in one shop. Also, I've added an item to my cart but then its not even listed in the shop it was listed under. The list goes on and on.. So confusing and frustrating.

Heard a lot about this website so decided to try. I was very disappointed by its functionality. It's suppose to be an app, but it acts like a website which is very inconvenient and not user friendly. The prices were much lower than on eBay, but when I saw that for the product worth €4,59 the shipping cost is €15,86, I immediately uninstalled the app. The shipping cost should be combined for the whole basket, not for each seller separately. Will stick to my good old eBay with free delivery.

Not including shipping fee. We have to wait for the email from the seller about the shipping fee. The problem was the email are japanese text that many overseas customer doesnt understand the meaning. The problem number two : Payment Issue. I dont understant how to make a payment. I already input my credit card number correctly but they req other credit card. This apps is no friendly user.

I've never used this company before and I've been hearing and seeing a lot of commercials so I decided to see what it's all about. The app opens and I see the featured products, but then I tapped a product and it took me to an error page. I tried many others and the same thing happened. Not a good first impression of this company. Maybe I'll try again another time to see if they fix it.

There is quite a large a variety of products available from branded products to snack. However, the app is quite user unfriendly. There is no such a function as to make a wishlist. Unlike Aliexpress, the only delivery method is through EMS which is quite expensive if u r buying only some sanck or things that could be delivered through other ways which may take longer but are relatively quite cheap. I have bought some snack which costed 1020jpy but the delivery fee was 1820jpy. Moreover, it is still not sure that ur order would be placed successfully depending on the seller. I have made 2 orders and the first one was cancelled. It may take a few days for orders to be processed and then will u be informed if ur order is accepted or not.

Sometimes all items in my basket are deleted. It's kindly annoying thing, because I spend hours to find what I want to buy and store it in a cart. After it happens I don't want to use this app anymore. It has no ability to see all items of chosen shop. And it is too slow, especially when I opening the shopping cart.

the app doesn't process payments and jumps back to the beginning and if you try and leave a message for the shop then it cancels again so it's a bit hopeless really to be honest and you can't buy stuff when you want and also when it fails the payments re above then suddenly the prices of the items jump up as well so very disappointed

The only feature it's missing (in my opinion) is a wishlist but that's not vitally important. Sometimes the search feature doesn't work as well as it should with English queries, though. It's hard to know what keywords some things would be under.

Weak UX. Lazy work by the Rakuten design team. Why I said that? The app is basically a container loading the actual website pages! Best of all, the pages are not responsive. Well done. Well done. It's 2019 and you guys are still living in 2000. 1 star for the lazy work. Zero star for not doing the work. Do not reject this feedback. Face the fact.

One of the most unreliable shopping websites. sellers drag forever to mail out item and customer service on rakuten is basically non existent. Waited more than 2 weeks only to have seller cancel my order without valid reason. shipping costs more than the actual items.

I dont like it either, hard to use, complicate and like other comments, worst translation. If you want to be a global market a clear communication is a must! System errors time to time. Hope someone will improve this.

Very poor filtering functionality. The app does not allow filtering on sub-item type (i.e, 'pants' within 'mens clothing') , nor does it allow filtering on size. Prices seem very high.

I was trying to work on with my emails and i contact the seller saying that i have trouble signing in and she said she wont proceed my order and then get canceled suddenly. Anyways after purchasing i be able to purchase, it says it will get the power points, but I didnt get anything. My point is still 0, then whats that for then? It' so hard to use the app it keeps going back to japanese instead of english

Needs 2 things. 1. A way to save items for later, lists. How do you not have this? Everything has had lists for 5+ years 2. Easier way to switch to the Japanese only market, that is where all the good stuff is.

Meh. First it says I need a data connection. Hmm, how is it I'm entering this review? Then it gets data and says select a marketplace. My only choice is Taiwan. What no Japan? Don't need Japan as a choice but you would think that would pop up. It used to have US... Delete!

I wish there was a way to favorite stores and items. It's a drag to look through the search history and recently looked at items to find what I want to buy. The app is really great!

Lots of bugs. When a product picture is clicked, the app stops or goes to the homepage! Even uninstalling it and re-installing it results in the same.

Signing in is impossible, I made an account but I still had to check out as a guest and when i checked out as a guest it finally worked. Buying from the app is also impossible, I tried to buy something and I kept getting an error message.

All important info in Japanese language, pretty worthless. I'm trying to buy one thing and can't make it happen due to language limitations! Also, nothing worth buying can be shipped to the usa for less than 100usd!

Not include shipping cost. It should be show and has selection menu like other app. Another thing is ok. please made this function. I dont want to reply email when select shipping method. Thank ;)

I was tricked by a store in Rakuten. the brand is called GeeJee Bluemoon Co. I never receive the item I ordered yet it was claimed that it was sent back to them. They emailed me to let me know they will charge me for the shipping price that was sent back to them. I told them no and blocked them so they can not further charge me for something I did not want anymore. But, they change their name and charge me anyways. Desperate much? I'm pretty sure this is illegal...

like the app... however only the basic masks are in english... when it comes down to sub-menus, product descriptions, etc... no english whatsoever -.- ...all only in japanese -.- ... i thought with such an inovative, international, young rakuten boss times might have changed in japan... -.- google translate also seems not to bother to automatically translate (same with amazon app)... when i go through rakuten url via chrome i get automatic translations ... jesus... japan... it's 2020!!!

The Worst!!!! Delivery take almost 2 mth n still can't reach to me and suddenly they cancelled my order before telling me before hand. This is the worst online shop that I had encountered. Do not use this online shop!!!!

A lot of work left to be done with this app. Good concept but shady sellers and highly lacking in search capability and inventory. Alibaba will have to do until this app improves.

after installing the app, and opening it, the app will not load anything after selecting the ship to country and the currency choice, the screen will not scroll down to show any kind of continue button
