So been with Rally Point from the very beginning. Helped the developers build it with assistance for the USAF. Application won't even open, and crashes with a "Cannot connect to the Network" message. I guess it proves the old Adage... You were dumb.... Now, You're Army Dumb™! Uninstalled.
I've been a member of RP for years. In fact, I'm one of the Admins on the website. But for the last few days, I'm unable to access my account/profile. It doesn't matter if I try thru the App, on my laptop, or thru Google on my phone. Nothing works.
Cant log in, greeted with error messages that just aren't true. I JUST created my new email yet it says an account has already been created with it. Stay away from this app.
RP is it a great place to connect with friends and peers that you serve with. It provides members a wealth of knowledge and resources on your phone or computer. The Q&A section is a great place to ask, read and get advice from military members of all ranks and career fields. There are communities based on anything from personal interest all the way to career based for mentorship. This is not just a social network but a powerful resource for anyone in the military or affiliated to it!
this doesn't work, you can't sign in and it constantly tells me i have no connection. Don't worry, their website is just as bad and doesn't work. if you can get it to work you will be bored.
good app overall. I like it a lot and it helped me transition from the military easier.
It would be great if they let me input my first overseas unit. 8th Infantry Division.
i signed up with my facebook, i closed facebook, now i cant sign in. Update....support squared me away.
Has helped find new and old friends. Helped me figure out how to file disability claims And linled me with friends to help me with my ptsd. It was a great find.
Wish it was more popular awesome app for connecting with military professionals
This is the best social media platform for military and civilian interaction.
Best site for Vets opinions and concerns!
They will allow people to hide their last names via one initial, or hide their entire identity, but won't allow me to go by J.D. Walker instead of Jay Walker. They're hypocrites who don't even enforce their own rules consistently. And who are they to tell me how to formulate MY name? No one has to break a sweat in the military to find out who J.D. Walker is. I'm so done with these jokers.
The best Military social network.
Don't know anything about it.
They stole my identity.
Terrible. Verification process doesn't work. Customer service doesn't reply in a timely manner.
My phone wouldn't let me connect saying that it couldn't find the server, it works at first and then it just goes bad, I'm just gonna go back to the desktop version. 😞😖
Pretty lackluster. It has lost its glow.
Downloaded the app and Just the time and effort needed for login, make me hate it. Needs work.
The app is extremely buggy. Many times trying to read more comments just reloads the discussion I'm reading and launches my keyboard like I'm going to comment. Other times information put in to my profile isn't accepted or disappears altogether. And then sometimes the button to add things pops up in the lower right corner, right in the way of trying to post or save information. Also, this app is a huge drain on my battery.
Can't view comments. Takes me back to the top when I try and also screws up the history so that the back button doesn't work. Just switched from iPhone where the app was actually functional.
Useful to see notifications. But I just log in on the computer to actually comment back. Actual interface with the app is garbage.
App barely works and does not show the same info as on the computer. Can't even back out, once I open the app, can't get out of it.
This is a great vehicle to stay in the loop with military brothers and sisters.
Whenever I try to view my contacts profiles nothing shows up. When I view my profile all the info is there. Why is this?
There needs to be a way to turn off the insane number of notifications from this app. Take a lesson from other social networks. Would be great to choose the types of notifications. Example; get notified for new friends and private messages, but not for a new topic in every area I have as an interest in my profile.
ive been on RallyPoint for a long time.. maybe since it was created. I havent had any problems until right now. firstly, I contacted their support via email 3 times over the course of 2 weeks. secondly, Ive tried to log in several times but have been greeted with an error message that wont budge if I even click forget password. stay clear of this app. massively unprofessional people. Update: I asked Support for help deleting a comment and they deleted my account.. that works I guess.
