It does just what I need. Excellent custom off road open street maps. I'm able to upload gpx files. It tells me when I get off-track; but one big omission for me - it vibrates when I get off-trail; but it does not make a beeping sound. Also where are the downloaded files on my android phone?
I've just started using ramblr to record some hikes we take, and so far it works flawlessly. Make notes and take pics along your route, and upload your trip. Very intuitive, and I'm an idiot when it comes to computers and stuff.
Ramblr is easy to use and has a very nice web interface for sharing your excursions. I easily imported KML from another gps program. Two issues: having run 2 gps apps simultaneously, it seems Ramblr's Total Ascent calculation may be too high. Secondly, Ramblr's copyright statement is not clear about ownership of content that the user uploads. I am reluctant to upload my photos without clarification and they have not responded to two emails seeking clarification
Very easy to upload, seems quite accurate on most features. It is easy to save your trips to reference later. I take screenshots of my data to save in my photo gallery. It is free to use also.
Has everything you need to travelogue your trips, whether its simple trips to the grocery store or transcending Mt. Everest, snap photos, take videos, record updates by audio or make a type a note. Only thing its missing is putting your trip in animated mode like Traverous but still got fingers crossed they will make that an option…
Fits the bill, for walking around, both online and offline, taking photos as I roam. The stats recorded also help, from a fitness point of view.
Great ap the best horseback riding ap I have used super easy shows your route and goes by satellite. Love that you can take photos in the ap and it uploads them for you with all your trip information highly recommended!
*Update: Well I'm uninstalling due to the last YEAR of trail rides have disappeared. Love how your pictures drop like a pin on the trail your mapping. Very useful! 👍 Do wish it had mapped trails though.
Very user friendly app. Taking photos and knowing exactly where things are is very helpful for mapping tracts of land with interesting features.
I like this app. Has many great features, is easy to use, and you can make it as simple or full featured as you want. Like the sharing feature.

Works great! Switched from AllTrails as my data kept disappearing when I tried to save my hikes.
