Ranchr - Cattle Record Keeping
With Ranchr, you can add basic info about your livestock such as name, ear tag, date of birth, breed, and sex.
You can also report when you sell a cow, when a cow gets a treatment, when there is health change such as a sickness to a cow, and when you record the weight of cow, along with the option to add notes and the date you applied the record.
The focus of this app was to eliminate the time it takes to record the information of your livestock/cattle so that you are more likely to record even the smallest amount of your cattle's information. Having complete and accurate livestock records will give you the tools to make your ranch very profitable and eliminate waste
Ranchr is also a cloud based software so that you can access your records from anywhere. The cattle records you enter on your phone will instantly be available on the online dashboard or to anyone else who logs in under your credentials. Having this ease of access to your cattle records will make your day to day operations simple and easy.

Good app. Easy to use. But have problems adding photo of cow. I can only add a picture from library. The 'take a picture' option does not deliver. And I need an option for the calves profile for deceased or miscarriage.
Too many bugs in the app and the desktop version. Free for up to 10 cattle $7 a month for up to 50 cattle and $13 a month for unlimited. I couldn't even add my small herd with accurate info because of the bugs. I definitely wouldn't pay for something I can't use. Doesn't appear to be written by anyone with experience raising cattle.
Great app. Customer service incredible. Most apps are not supported well, this one is. Have had app for approx Year with great results Looking forward to updates. Ty Ranchr
You used to be able this app used to tell you how many cows were in each designated pasture through filter. It would be nice to have a count of roral cows, and the also ones in each pasture when you filter. Other wise love the app so far.
Very good app, keeps my cattle situated. Just a couple of recommendations - have an option for twins - everytime I click on a heifer or steer that was born it just refers me back to dam, it does not make a new profile for the calf - instead of having all cows/heifers w a heart beside their name that are bred or pregnant, have a distinction between bred cows and confirmed pregnant cows. - have an alert notification for preg check ready cows and due cows
Needs twin option but overall a great app
Has potential but too many issues. They need to clean up the way the database links. I definitely wouldn't pay to use this. I'm removing the free version for my very small herd.... This would be a nightmare with a large herd. I can't list all of the issues here bc not enough space.
