Rando 4Me

I can take pictures to send, but no pictures are being received! It's an interesting idea, but the claim that you instantly get a picture back as soon as you send one out doesn't appear to be working. I've taken 4 pictures as an experiment and so far have had none back! Whether this is a problem with the app or not I have no idea.

Interesting. A chance to share your experience of the world with others and to receive the same from others. But the chances of receiving lewd or pornographic content are as high as receiving totally random or abstract images and this is off-putting. Remove the option to like or dislike a photograph as it makes no sense. Also, why does my phone save the images I've taken and rejected instead of the ones I've sent?

It's really buggy. If you send 5 pics you might get 2 back. There are not that many users either so typically your pics go to the same person. I don't like the thumbs up and down system either. It doesn't feel great to send interesting pictures of your city or whatever and the person who gets it gives a thumbs down. Not motivating to keep sending pics. I uninstalled it.

Was just working a few days ago, now its taking half an hour to upload a picture? I've tried closing the app, taking a new photo, restarting my phone, and nothing works. Still just seeing "To be uploaded" on the picture. Update: it's been 16 hours now. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Didn't work. Devs please help. I like the app but can't use it.

Fun app. Have used it for years. Sometimes it takes a while for photos to send out and receive, but they'll appear next time you check the app. Have received glimpses of very far away places.

Works as well as the original Rando. The positive rating system has increased the quality of photos I have seen so far. The photo quality is also way better than the original app.

Worked for 4 pictures. Every one I try to send now just circles the globe looking for a landing spot. There's no way I'm the only one using this app, so there is definitely an issue.

Won't even open.. when I go to open the app, it freezes on a logout screen. Was really hoping to get that old rando experience back. I loved that app.

Updated review: Hasn't worked since March 24, 2019. I've got a bunch of photos that are still showing the world map and the red circle moving over the globe looking for a destination. This isn't the first time it has stopped working. So I'm still hopeful that they'll get it working again.

Thanks for this. Such a great idea and app! I'm discovering new cities in the world while exchanging all kinds of beautiful or interesting pictures :)

I wish more people knew about this. It is a surprisingly fun little app to have lying around. I just got a photo from Greece. Before, somewhere in Buenos Aires. Kinda neat to see parts of the world from strangers.

Jan 2019 - everythings working fine, glad this app is still around. Last time I used it must have been years ago, randomly found it again, love it. Download it and join in!

edit 9 june, seems to be working again 😀 Seems to have stopped working :/ been using this for years, great fun but recent pics are just queued, my last received pic is from April 13 2019

So nice to see Rando is back ! And even better than before. As with the original, I have so far the same experience: always positive and unique.

Would be fun if it worked! So far none of my pics have landed and I haven't received anything. Would be nice to get some kind of update so I can know if I should stick around and wait for it to work, or just delete it.

A very neat app. Never know what you're going to get! Lots of fun with this. Also, super small install size. Overall, very cool.

I remember this app when it first came out, so decided to give it another try. My pictures don't seem to be sending and I haven't received anything yet. Shame because it's a great idea.

Amazing. This is so exciting. I love the concept and how wonderful the idea is. I totally love it so damn much.

Cool idea, but hardly any users and now seems to have completely stopped working.

Needs more people!! Working perfectly but we need more people to download the app.

Can't even use the app... Soon as I start it up I get a log out box and it never goes away

Excellent app, have been using on and off for many years.

Great app! Sometimes it doesn't work, but not for long. Anyway, I have some questions to devs: 0. How can I buy you a coffee? 1. Do I need to report black screens? They're everywhere, it's not fun. 2. Why my randos are overexposured when I make them on the bright sun? 3. How can I buy you a coffee?

There is still a lot of people interested in your app you should really pay attention to it... put some work into it and you can make some money

I think only myself and one other person use this app. I love it. Can I have it? I'd like to market it better
