Random number generator

Welcome to Random number generator!
This is no just a randomizer. It also can be used as random name picker, decision maker, it can help you to roll dice (different dice quantity supported), cast lots with your friends, pick random value from your list and shuffle it (useful, for example, to pick a random winner name).

We're always waiting for your comments and suggestions!

Yours respectfully, UX Apps Team

Excellent app and a boon for studying lists in a random order. The toast that says "all variants generated" can sometimes be missed though, which is problematic for larger lists. Either make this permanently visible (like a count) or have an option to exit the generator UI once done would be great so you know when to stop. Also it would be nice to be able to tap the screen to progress rather than a small button (which again, can be missed).

There is much to be said for using chance to make decisions! 1) All else being equal, it minimizes decision fatigue.. a really real thing. 2) Serves as a gut-check once you see the "answer." Free version is great but I bought full app so I could store more lists. My only wish would be the ability to custom re-order my lists. Right now it only lists them from newest to oldest. I would like the more frequently accessed ones up top so I don't need to scroll. Give it a "chance"... pun intended.

Great one of the best apps randomizer apps around and I'm a big randomizer fan/person. Helps make decisions quickly, or narrow down options. Only thing that would be great would be a weighted list randomization feature ideally using 1st, 2nd, 3rd - then using that to calculate the percentage of the order of the list then runs through an array of numbers to select an individual option also it would be nice if you could have that with so u can put several list elements with the same priorities.

I really like this app. There are a few additions and changes I'd like to see, such as a choice for more than just 6 sided dice, and the option to temporarily remove an option from a list without deleting it permanently. Overall though I'm very happy with it and was more than happy to spend the money for premium (less than £2 a bargain). Highly recommend.

I've been using this app for a long time and it's been so useful. I've tried other random generators but I always come back to this one. However I do have one really big nitpick. I'd really love it if I could reorder my custom lists. As it is right now, the newest ones are sorted to the top, when I'd prefer to have my main, older lists be prominent at the top. Being able to sort lists into folders or categories would be even better, but I'd be happy just being able to sort them. Thank you!

Ads issue seems to have gone on its own for the time being, glad because it's a great app. If ads don't bother you (non intrusive here anyway) this is the best random generator I've tried. If they do, it's super cheap anyway especially considering what I get in return. Very flexible in usage and aesthetically pleasing. Responsive developer too a big plus (offered refund too).

This is awesome! I'm a teacher. I use this app to randomize student responses in classroom discussions. The students like the Cast Lots feature best - suspense builds as I go from student to student, each of them selecting a tile and hoping it's not the one with the check mark. Lots of fun and makes more mundane instruction more enjoyable. Edit: I just purchased the premium version to support the devs. Thanks so much!!

Like Monde Anna, I too bought the app after a few minutes, but also have some improvement suggestions. Starting with the list randomiser. Would it be possible to add a "+" sign to this page, so that tapping it will add the next list item with an incremental number update i.e. as the user, I create the first list name, say "choice 1" for example, hit the + and the app auto creates "choice 2" hit the + again "choice 3" etc etc. It would make creating lists quicker if they are uniform. Otherwise, thumbs up.

EDIT: The *next* button and the *delete list* button are in exactly the same place if your phone rotates, and there's no confirmation. Have had to rebuild multiple times. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. My biggest wish(es) is the ability to reorganize multiple lists and be able to save the lists to an sd card. I use this for project ideas and to do lists...having to ever rebuild them if my phone crashes would be a daunting task!

Very useful. I set the random number generator for verses I'm trying to memorize. I use the LIST for choosing random partners and assigning roles. The UI for creating new lists is awkward, but i like that it remembers them for future use. the positioning of the ads gets in yhe way sometimes.

Great App! I would pay for it! I use it for all of my decisions I can't decide on. Great Job! I have a suggestion. You should add a feature to the number randomizer as well as the list one where you can get more than one result like you have on the dice. You could also add a feature to the list randomizer where you can randomize the order of all of the things on the list to make it kind of like a order you want to do things in. I am looking foward to what you guys make next!

This has saved the day in my classroom many times in deciding which student goes next. With its many options (list, coin, number, lots), I've also used it for many different games, decision making, and generating math problems. The only negative thing is that I don't know which side of the coin is heads and which is tails...

Liked it. Nice and clean graphics. For the random number/letter, it would be nice to add a kind of loop option (to not have to click the "generate button"). It would make for a fun agility game keeping your hands free.

Loved it at first. Was perfect for what I needed it for but now it won't load. As soon as I click it, the app just crashes before loading. Ran scans on my phone to make sure it wasn't on my end. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Worked again until I closed the program again and now it's back to crashing.

EVERY 5 /7 random numbers, IT TAKES OVER AN ENTIRE SCREEN to display an ad! Looking at all these 5 star reviews, you would think this app must solve all of the world problems very efficiently! I tried it and uninstalled it in 15 minutes. I understand Advertising is how they generate revenue, but its the intrusive nature of their ads is what prevented me from even considering a paid version. I just don't approve of their mindset that it is okay to be so intrusive!! It's a freaking random numbers generator, not New York Times!

Great app with lots of good features, especially with premium. Looks good and the customization to the lists is very helpful. Only feature i'd like is the ability to sort lists as i have a lot and would prefer them to be in a specific order

This app is perfect, simple, and very easy to use. My only issue with this app is negligible. I would like to be able to randomize a list and have it display results in the same top down format as the input.

Intuitive and good. A feature what I miss is to rearrange the lists I have under LIST. I have more than my cell can display at once and some of the lists I use more often are at the button. Now it would be super convenient for me to be able to drag the lists I use repeatedly to the top of LIST.

Hello! Please consider adding an overlay mode: being able to display a randomly generated number over other apps. Upon clicking the number, a new one would be generated. No other RNG app for android currently provides such functionality, and it could be incredibly useful in many cases. (So the user doesn't have to switch back and forth between apps to generate new numbers)

Simple to us and customize. Useable primarily for small numbers and integers. It has a very useful option to draw a number of items randomly from a list. Ideal to build any oracle for divination. Lists can be saved.

Really great app. Very useful for teaching and choosing random students to read or when playing Bingo. I just wish there was an option to sort the lists instead of just leaving them in order as they were added.

Wil. M. Nov 5, 2018

It is quite good except when you are pressing the button to advance the number periodically the screen moved and you then get an add that you click on because they have move the ad click to where the advance button is. For this reason I have now stopped using it. Very sneaky!

As a truck driver, I sometimes have to write a Bill of Lading for the items I haul, and wanted a random number generator for BOL numbers. However, when I got into the app to explore it, I realized that it has a lot of cool stuff that it generates. This is a way better app than the previous one I was using.

I'm the kind of guy who has for the longest time heavily relied on divination to solve every issue in my life and for the past 21 years have never been led astray by it. This random number generator hasn't either. It's an 8 Ball, a coin toss, Tarot card generator (no tarot cards are found in this app, however, as there are 78 cards, you enter them in numerically). Those who play RPGs, even, could find this app a delight to use. The answering sound-effect is a nice touch. TYVM.

Full screen ads with sound. Nuff said. EDIT: Yes, I get that, and I don't mind the ads on the bottom of the screen, but the full screen stuff is so disruptive I had to look for another app.
