Great experience so far I used another generator before this one and that was definitely skewed. This app is certainly random. After running it for a while I am fairly confident that the numbers are random. The no permissions is an extremely high plus and so far no indication that it connects to the internet. A good app that does what it says. It does Lotto also not that I think you need an app for that but it's a nice option for those who need it. The dice is also a nice touch.
This is a great free app, and no f-ing ads. Amazingly. Also I am surprised to see how many options it has like excluding certain numbers in a random generation, for people that like to generate a lottery sequence but have numbers they consider unlucky that is great (not me though :3). If I was to suggest anything, well honestly I would like to see a dark mode option and perhaps make the design a bit slicker, other then that absolutely no complaints. Will keep using it :3.
Great little app, thank you! Here's a small feature request if you have the time, in the 1st tab (RNG), it's currently possible to exclude duplicates (awesome!), it would also be great to allow duplicates but not directly one after another. E.g: give me 100 numbers between 1 and 10 but don't allow for example ...7, 7, 7,... I'm currently memorising how to count in a new language and this would be great and would save me having to press generate after each random sequence of just 10 numbers.
Amazing app for what it is. + A million point for being free and ADless, much respect Mr.Dev. The one thing that's missing is randomly selecting from a list of words which I would really love to have. It's easy enough to assign numbers to things. however if you get around to random word lists and a save file for multiple of them you could totally make it a one time purchase and id pay a fair amount for that. Can't be that much coding anyway with what your already got their🙏. Also dice faces!
Been using this for horse racing and it's been hitting! I may never study the books again to pick horses. Just type in the amount of horses and choose pick 1 and roll. First 6 races so far, I got 1st,no show, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd. So it works numbers if you're someone like me who bets WPS, or just to place or show! One of the horses was 30-1! Love this app! I give no effort whatsoever. 🤑
Good app. Does what it claims to do with no ads. Outside of an interval generator others have mentioned, it would be nice to save the kind of random number set one creates in the lotto list. I know it would be unreasonable to expect the author to build and maintain a list of all number draw lotteries from around the world, so a customizable list would be a good alternative.
I use this for practicing different note patterns and finger combinations on the guitar. The app does exactly what I need it to do. Being able to store and exclude previously generated numbers is a great feature.
This is a clean app that does exactly what it says it does, with more optional settings than I anticipated and an extremely easy to use interface. Cheers.
Does what it needs to. Just wondering if you could add an option to select all numbers in a range in a random order without repeats. With a small range and high number of generations you inevitably get lots of repeats before all numbers have thrown up. Being very picky!
Simple, easy to use, I was able to edit my list to not include certain numbers which I haven't seen on other apps I've tried and didn't like so really happy I stumbled on this one I'm able to get through me craft projects a lot easier with it
The amount of parameters are great. I downloaded it originally for virtual dice, but have found myself using it for many other things where generating a random number can be useful, like picking a restaurant when we are all indecisive between several.
This is an amazing FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) application! I've been using it for a few days now & I have to say the UI is simple & clean, multiple options, & above all, it is responsive & WORKS!
Love this app! I use it in a non-standard way, perhaps. I generate a random number to choose which chore in a numbered list to do next, when I'm stuck trying to decide. It makes it a bit of a game, and works surprisingly well in getting me going. I assume it would be good for lots of other settings where random numbers are needed.
Overall well built, quick to make numbers and without any discretion unless you need it. Very simple too. Only thing I wish would be to allow users to save the numbers in a "notes" section of some sort but the fact that I can copy them is still good.
Does what it needs to do. Some useful optional bits as well. Edit: haven't been interrupted by an ad yet. Good on the developer for keeping them off the app!
For a free app without ads, this great. I use this app to set up players to randomly play one another. So each player has a number and I get two numbers from the total number of players. The only annoying additional step I have to do is add the numbers generated to the excluded list for the next generate.
Was looking for a custom dice roller for a project involving rolling the result of one die, as another die. The random number generator in this app is the cleanest method i have found to do this so far. Kudos for having dark theme and minimalist, but functional interface as well.
Lots of helpful versatility for assisting with choosing random numbers. Thoughtful consideration with providing control to user for how numbers are selected ( x amount of numbers between ? and ?, numbers can be excluded, repeats and no-repeats options, more). What I do think wouldbe helpful though and couldn't find was a "sort" option for numbers generated. Numbers are presented in a non sorted order... no biggie just a nice feature that could make this app even better.
The only thing that hindered the performance of an otherwise well organized app, was that every time I would go to generate a number, it would force pause my music app. I can't stand that and until it's fixed this app is unusable.
(1) is this pseudo-random? the odd of rolling 4 same numbers while randoming 4 numbers into 4 slots is 1 in 64, but I tried to roll like 50 times and I got like 40 sequences like that, thats 1 in 2560 possibilities, am i one of the luckiest men alive? (2) anyway the notification of excluded numbers being updated takes like 5 seconds to fade away, but it blocks the sight of rolled numbers in some devices, so i think this should be fixed to an option, not mandatory
Awesome. I use this app to practice my music keys. Just generate a random number from 1-7 with no duplicates and those are your scale degrees. Perfect. The only improvement would be if it could generate Roman numerals as an optional alternative to numbers!
Literally does what I need it to do and more. Even if I needed to roll 10d6, I can easily do that without having unnecessary animations or an app that is big just to accommodate graphics. This is what a useful, streamlined app looks like!
Very solid app. Easy to use. The history and settings for random number generation save properly, which is a feature that's missing from other apps that do the same thing.
Great app, works amazingly. However, I would like to have multiple saved random numbers, so I could have one that generates a number between say, 1-10, but also one that can do 1-15 without having to change it manually
So far great, no bugs. However if I roll 9999 dice, I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see how many heads/tails. Far more user friendly to display the totals at the top of the page. Please make this change for a 5 star review and a slightly better product.
From first use I was hooked. I tried other apps but this one allows me to shake my phone for rolls and allows me to customize how many numbers I can generate at a time. It's much better yhan even those "true random" number apps. I like it and Im keeping it! (Some animations would be nice though).
Hello! Please consider adding an overlay mode: being able to display a randomly generated number over other apps. Upon clicking the number, a new one would be generated. No other RNG app for android currently provides such functionality, and it could be incredibly useful in many cases. (So the user doesn't have to switch back and forth between apps to generate new numbers)
Suggestion for the devs Is it possible for you guys to add an automated time interval system? So what I am asking is if the app can generate random numbers in set time intervals so the user doesn't have to hit the button everytime. That or an audio system where the app reads the numbers. A combination would be ideal but not demanded. Beyond that it is a well polished app. Nothing wrong with it but additions may go a long way.
