Ranger's Choice: Choices Game RPG

Really a great game. Although there are not a LOT choices, I enjoy the book. The contents are thrilling and interesting. Though I think if I could change the font, it would be much better. And also if I can watch ads to increase my life or favor, it would be much much much better cuz I am not really willing to spend those spendable things. (edit) But Im not really happy with the fact that you cant save progress and load progress. It makes me really unhappy when I have made a wrong choice.

Edit:Just finished! Awesome story! Can't wait for other chapters! Feature Request:It would have been better if there was text selection in the app. There are many difficult words in the story and for each of them you have to type the word on google which is very time consuming. It would have been better if we could select texts and search for meaning instantly!

The writing is good. Long pages, I like to see a bit more interval. Instead of one long page, 3 pages. Also, I miss choices. There really aren't that many, and this way I don't feel enough freedom to say "these where my choices and consequences". The story pushed to hard to defining moments, instead of giving multiple arcs to go through such a moment. Even if you, as the writer want to happen something to us, please give us at least different dialogue ending into the same.

Great story! However to call it a "choices game" is a bit far fetched. You only make a choice once every several pages, and when you do it really just comes down to "do you want to lose health, or moral?" It does not actually impact the story. Id like to see new story segments with more of s choose your own adventure feel Aside from that its a great read

really solid game. havent finished it yet but I already had a troublesome glitch. at the first checkpoint, I exited the app to reply to a text, and when I returned I was put back to my previous choice which reduced my health by an additional 3 points from the last time I was there leaving me with 1. an issue for continuing and something that could potentially end a game

Ive never been one for reading books and what not, I find it extremely boring but Im really enjoying this little story on account of being able to make the characters decisions. It keeps me invested in the story and character! I can imagine the possibilities if you guys were actually funded properly! I would happily pay money for a well done rpg text style game like this one. So yeah thanks and keep up the good work !

Delight games has yet to fail me. Started with "wizards Choice" years ago and have been quite pleased with all the tales and stories they have cranked out since. This is no exception. I've only just started but already feel the character's emotions, and convictions as if they were my own at times. Keep up the great work guys!

The story is well crafted and has a steady pace to it. I've only reached the first checkpoint, but it's drawn me in to the point where I honestly don't want to stop. Each choice has a certain weight to it that makes me wonder if I chose right or wrong even after I've chosen it. Five stars for the good story and world-building.

Compared to all the other stores from Ring city this was the least engaging. Felt less like a text adventure game and more like a novel. A wonderfully written novel to be fair, beautiful characters and world but still not enough freedom of choices to be called a game in my opinion. Hope the other installments go back to a more choice heavy Delight game style that i love.

Writing is decent but not great however its able to grab attention. You're able to make choices that affect three resources (life, moral, and favour). Its not immediately apparent how the last two will affect you. Considering there are no ads and it's free to play I give it four stars. But if you're looking for strategic play and not an interactive story you won't be interested in this.

Plot is interesting. I hate how vulgar it is in places. Some people say only the first chapter is free. Well actually, there is only one chapter. And it hasn't been updated in nearly 3 years. None of the other series from this company have been recently updated either. Will they ever finish it?

Should have been called "Ranger's occasionally-make-a-choice" And when you're pressing 'continue' through ten pages of choiceless text, somehow lose and then gain a whole bunch of health without doing anything. The main character has a bit of an attitude problem, which you can't 'choice' your way out of.

Amazing storyline. I enjoy the dragons, dwarfs, elves and other mythical creatures sense i have a very strong interest in fantasy and mythical stories. I think there just needs to be a save option. Because when my phone screensaver comes up and i get back into the story. I have to restart close to the beginning again.

There is a minor bug when leaving and coming back to the game at a page that changes your stats, it will change them again. I've finished a chapter with -2 favor, for example. Disappointed to only have 1 chapter

The choices really make you stay invested in the story. There are some parts where I feel that it goes too in depth into things that don't matter, but over all, I would rate the story very highly so far.

Your Ring City series is my favorite in the DG library & this one is no exception. Perfect length for a chapter & instantly likable protagonist. I love how we can get tidbits of secret information regarding the characters & story if you pick certain choices. Maybe one day there will be a character guide book? I just want to know all there is to Ring City universe!

Very fun and pretty interactive. You can lose, but have iptions to go back and change the story if you do die. Also get stat report after the chapter is over.

i like the story so far. The ranger character you play is well done and the interactions with other characters are well written. enough excitment to get you going and enough danger to make it entertaining and worried (died once).

My review updated for clarity. I love these books so much I bought three premium versions for all my devices. My two droids wouldn’t upload to the cloud, so I bought a third premium version for my IPad. Case in point I couldn’t load the Ranger series to my IPad but it worked on my droid phone. Interesting mideval theme with good storyline and character building. Not as many choices as I might have liked and I would have appreciated some more illustrations (simple pencil drawing things would be fine) but it is intriguing.

Fun and entertaining. Good character development. The author has a knack for storytelling. Straightforward game play shows you don't need much to make a a game an entertaining experience for the player. I'll be waiting for chapter 2!

Im still exploring all the other plethora of other stories/games. And they are all great. But so far this particular storyline is my fave. The intro is awesome and realy gets you set into the mood. I hope you have more on the way for ranger. Love these games . tganks peeps.

One cannot simply get enough of Delight Games. Shame you can't undo your choice but you have to start all over again to see a different path. Still interesting and can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the great work.

Just started this one and I love it. I read paladins and this is along the same line. very addictive and fun. you connect with the characters right away and the choices are fun and not always easy to make. I highly recommend this!!!

It's a fantastic work of art. The story is well developed and so immersive as if I live in the story world itself. Sadly I have to pay for a whole package instead of the one that I like. I don't mind paying for this work of art but I'm disappointed on how I can't read the rest of it simply because I can't afford to pay for a whole bundle while I'm surely can afford to but the one that I like.

Main character is fantastic! He says the funniest of things sometimes. Story DID NOT go how i was expecting AT ALL, which is GREAT!! I hate it whe. I can tell whats gonna happen, and and i am hooked!! No idea whats coming around every corner!! Its so great! Cant wait until the next volume comes out! Woo!

It was very interesting and well written. As I read, I could actually visualize what they were saying. I made a few mistakes here and there, but altogether it was a very fun and exciting choice game. Thanks again for this amazing story.
