RapidReport for SpotterNetwork

Completely rewritten! Rapid Report allows you to report Severe Weather to Facebook, Twitter, Twitpic, and SpotterNetwork with minimal clicks and typing. When a tornado or large hail is dropping you don't have time to form a lengthy report. This app let's you choose from setup lists for Tornadoes, Hail, etc and add your own customized text to quickly post a picture or text status to Facebook, Twitter and SpotterNetwork. Drive users to your Live Streaming site or Media Broker for faster action and a more informed public! If you've ever fumbled getting a report out when the chips are down this is the app for you! Because sometimes weather happens and you don't have all your streaming equipment. Get reports out fast with just your Android phone. Use your keyboard Voice to Text to speak your report into the Narrative field.
Don't forget to get the companion app Chaser Location to automatically do the work of the SpotterNetwork client from your Android phone! See also SPC Widget and Hail Scale android apps.

Rapid Report now posts to all three places independently. You don't have to setup sites that you don't want to post to.

Press the Facebook button and go through the steps to authorize the app with FB.

Press the t Setup button to setup Twitter access one time and then you're good to go!

In Settings add your SpotterNetwork Spotter ID to the setting menu. Be sure to add your encoded number/characters, not your Name or Callsign.

Troubleshooting tip: If you are having trouble logging into Facebook, try this. Uninstall your FB app. Then launch Rapid Report and press the FB login button. Go through the prompts to install a new version of the FB app. This should resolve your problem. There was a bug with older version of the FB app that caused this.

- Facebook Login is currently broken by the removal of some permissions that this app used. Please use the Twitter and SpotterNetwork posting until this is fixed in a future release.

After waiting two years to use this app, I tried this morning when we got hail. It failed 3 times to report and then crashed. Not happy.

Good app it never posts to facebook anymore though even when I am logged in and get the "successfully posted" notification Edit: also when i try to report to spotternetwork it says "You cant predict the future, please update time and date" i thought it was automatic

A huge time saver out in the field. Allows you to report to Spotter Network and multiple networks such as Facebook and Twitter all at the same time.

Very slick App. Question though: I'm a certified spotter and want my report to go to Twitter, specifically to the attention of the local NWS office, ie tweeting with "@NWS...". I tried putting that in both the pretext and posttext and neither posted it in the message. Idears?

Every time I click the "login" button to facebook...it crashes. Also, why will this app access my direct messages on twitter? Shady... I'll update my rating when bug is fixed.

It claims to post to all these places"Rapid Report allows you to report Severe Weather to Facebook, Twitter, Twitpic, SpotterNetwork and your ChaserTV iMap account with minimal clicks and typing" but the fact is the one that matters Spotter Network, You have to hit the button on the top right to open there web page And then retype the whole thing. This app is not what i thought it was, An easy way to post to spotternetwork and get my report out fast this is not the case as i still have to use there web page witch on a smart phone is not the easiest

I asked for rotation support, got it on the very next update. Works excellent on my tab 10.1 , wont install on nexus 7 yet.
